The worst service !!!!! Went in to simply ask if they can build the window frame because my mom had called and spoke to someone named Jorge . Jorge said he can do it come and ask for him and have the dimensions ready and he would be able to do it. So I went in straight to the window aisle I picked up the supplies and walked to someone near by to see if they can help me. Didnt get his name but I asked if he knew where I can go get the window frame built. He said oh thats gonna take all day but you can go back to aisle and ask someone there. I said I dont mind how long it takes just want to know where I can locate the person in charge of building the frame. I went back to the aisle saw two guys and I asked the same question they giggled and said they dont do that here I said well we spoke to Jorge and he said he can do it. They asked for a last name but we didnt have it I assumed they knew a Jorge in that dept. those two guys called some short guy named Oscar. Again I asked the same question and still not a polite or straight forward answer first he said they dont do it there and again told him we spoke to a guy named Jorge. Then he switched his story and said he could do it it would just take too long and has a lot of things to do and hes gonna do what his boss tells him first that he goes in from 6-2 and he wont do it that day but maybe for tomorrow. Again I dont mind waiting !!! . I said I dont mind the wait and asked how much it would it be ...he then said its doing us a favor. Im still unsure what doing us a favor meant ?? I went in ready to pay for that not to ask for a favor I Im asking for service! He added that we can go online and schedule an appointment for it and it could take weeks. How am I supposed to go forward with that after feeling so disrespected by not one but 4 guys!! Is it because Im a girl thinks I wouldnt know! If I had the tools for it I wouldve done it I know it doesnt take hours! I put my supplies back and said never mind he then asked so you dont want us to do it i said no. Like come on!! In what mind did he make me feel welcomed there? (I called a local store on cypress ave was able to get the nicest answer and price )....I went to the front registers to speak to a manager about what happened I believe her name was Christine. She said she apologized she would talk to them and unfortunately they dont offer that service I said thank you that answer was all I needed cant believe it took the 5th person to give an honest and polite answer. I still dont understand how they dont offer the service but according to oscar we can make an appointment online.... anyway never going to this store Id rather drive to the nearest Lowes or any hardware store near by . I dont mind paying extra as long as I get what I am asking for .

The reason why the employees barely know anything is because Home Depot hires the cheapest labor possible. This is also why they came out against the Employee Free Choice Act. Oh, and also that they treat their employees terribly so they dont care anymore. But, of course, if they had a union, they could fight back on some of their egregious demands. The service at Home Depot is so bad that as I was writing I found another reason to complain. Ive been on hold for ten minutes trying to get in contact with the tool rental department. They have no option in their phone master for it so I went through outdoor tools. The girl who answered the phone, who is probably exactly as she sounds, clueless, thought she was transferring me, but instead had me on hold. Not only is there very little training at Home Depot, but they hire the cheapest, cheapest labor possible: F-students, on the one hand, and high school drop-outs on the other.

Its a clean fast paced no-nonsense type of place where customer service is at its best. Where they help you find what youre looking for and/or help you look for what it is that you are trying to find. Case in point, I went in there looking for a product in which I searched and searched for, not know that I had the brand name remembered incorrectly, so it basically didnt exist and I was adamant that it did nevertheless the guy made a phone call to try to see if they actually had the product there and just wasnt there and then on top of that he also searched online on his iPhone and showed me that the product Im asking for is not on their products this so

This home Depot lacking customer service, I wasted 3 hours of my time at this home Depot trying to pay no one will assist me till I I approached cashier , then this morbidly obese girl that works at home Depot approach me from behind and started insulting me saying that I couldnt pay with credit card when I was actually paying cash. Also the assistant manager Josh ( sum curly hair guy with glasses) he was paying attention to my complaint but didnt didnt do anything he didnt even he Allowed the big girl to continue to insult me . Dont go to this home Depot if you need any questions answered or need good customer service you have been warned!

Good awful and outrageous prices for garbage quality for the most part. Plus the pure burning rage of standing in line forever for the one working register. Inventory is a disaster, thousands of what you dont need, none of what you do, shelves completely filled with the wrong stuff, pilfered boxes, just try to find a plumbing fixture. At least a few of the people that work there are nice, but they could have Mother Theresa working there (god rest her soul) and it still wouldnt make up for the shameless disarray of this miserable place.

It can be busy during peak hrs (early evening + weekends) which probably accounts for the poor service people are complaining about. Its been totally fine every time Ive gone. Its sometimes hard to get an employee to help u out when its busy but what do you expect? The store is huge and theres only so many employees, cut them some slack guys. If you have no idea what you want or need, and would rather ask than do some research ahead of time, come during off hours and youll get the attention you think you deserve.

The customer service is really slow. The workers talking to each other instead of helping customers and handing each other food. I ask if customer service was closed the staff said no that they were out on the floor. I waited 30 minutes before I got service and because I told the people behind me that the customer service was really bad. The same worker that I asked if it was open is the one that took my payment.

I like coming here because you can find a very large variety of items, such as stoves, tables, and screwdrivers, as well as batteries all sizes. The staff is really friendly and helpful, but it is really hard to find someone to assist you because there is a very limited amount of personnel. I also like the fact that this home depot is 5 minutes away from my house and that finding parking is relatively easy.
