I ordered counter tops, granite special for $41/sq foot. Home Depot uses Duracite for the fabrication and install, the granite comes from Daltile here in Clovis. You go to the yard and are able to pick out your own slab. I liked that! From order date to install it took about 4 weeks. I ordered on Feb 22, template date March 8th, I could have had it sooner but we wouldnt have had old tile ones removed in time, and install was tentatively scheduled for April 1st, which Duracite met. Once we had our templating done it was 3 weeks for fabrication. Everything went perfectly, Duracite handled the install professionally and on time. This was something that had me really concerned they could deliver on. The reviews on Yelp were bad. I was very nervous until I looked at the location of the reviewers. Theyre mostly SO Cal! Southern CA Duracite is separate from the one up here. The one down there has bad reviews but up here they didnt. The one in our area is great! If youre trying to decide wether its a good idea to use home depot for your granite install, I can say with confidence they will do great! I had changes in my order, they issued refunds right away. I added a window sill to my order & I could have paid over the phone. The special order lady Jessica is so nice and very efficient, and shes new! Id have never known if someone hadnt told me. The lady who helps her is also amazing! From order day to install I had no issues. Contacting Duracite, I always got a representative, Grace. She was clear, kind and answered any questions I had. Install crew were Jamie (pronounced Hymay) & Fidel. One spoke English and was very nice, the other was the main laborer, did all the measuring and cutting, very nice but spoke little English. They got my 45sq ft of counter top done in about 4 hours. They were scheduled for 9am, got here at 9:10 & didnt stop until it was done well after 12:30. They modified one of my cabinets to accommodate my under mount Swanstone sink and made it look amazing! It almost didnt fit! Jamie relayed any questions or options to us in English and asked before any cuts for faucets were needed. He was good to make us aware of their recommendations but left the decisions up to us. I think because they ran late the final touches were a little rushed. Im sure they were starving. The caulk line around my sink had a spot that didnt get filled all the way in and they left some glue spots on the granite in numerous places. But honestly, its not a deal breaker for me. They took their time getting the job done rt, last minute details that I can touch up myself are not a big deal. The glue scraped right up and the caulk around the sink can be fixed. If that stuff bothers you just be sure to look everything over really well and have them fix it before they leave. I do wish theyd not have cleaned everything up and taken all their stuff out before I looked it over. But I think we were ready for them to be done as much as they were! I hope my experience will help you decide. I was so nervous to go with home depot. My dad, a general contractor on So Cal, told me not to. Being in the business down there he knows how bad they are! This is the first time not following dads advice worked out for me! Lol! Im so happy we went with the Depot! I love my new counter tops and I have a good experience to hang onto.

I have been a satisfied and vocaly positive customer for home depot. This Clovis store I used more than any others. There are a few reasons, I consider Bear paint to be amoung the best and I try to be loyal because of a good turn by a Bear rep. More than 15 years ago. The second reason is that I know the store. It takes me less time because I know where things are. The third, and most important reason, is that for over 15 years clovis home depot would take my clients checks. I would have my client write a check to home depot, sign and date it leaving the amount blank. I would get the materials I need and bring back the recipt. Most checks had my cdl number on them and they were also trackted through pro rewards. In all the years , home depot has never had a problem with any check from any of my clients. On feb. 8th, 2016 the deranged step son of a new cliant went to a clovis store manager and told her that I was representing home depot and steeling the money and not completing the job. None of this was true. I even have pictures of the completed job. I have run my handyman business with honesty and integrity for many years. Most of my customers have been with me for more than 10 years. The manager without asking me about the incident, decided that she would no longer take my clients checks. This has disrupted my business. I now go out of my way to shop anywhere but home depot and never pass up the opertunity express my disgust with home depots lack of loyalty to a long time customer. Store# 0664 ( CLOVIS CA) has Worst Customer Service! I have been a home depot shopper for quite sometime now and have never experienced such horrible customer service. I simply wanted to purchase a dishwasher using my 10% coupon I received in the mail. I picked the dishwasher, set up installation, TOLD the sales associate I wanted to redeem my coupon and was told that it was not a problem and that I can finish the transaction up front in customer service. Unfortunately.. my toddler must have removed it from my purse because I went to check out and I could not find it. I did have my Lowes 10% off which I have used before at HD but this time the associate declined to used the coupon and told me to GO HOME and get the HD coupon. He was VERY rude..STRIKE 1. Then I get home, FIND the coupon and call to see if I can just make the sale over the phone instead of getting all the kids back in the car. Apparently, it is against store procedure to do so ( I have done it before ) so I ask to have the person who sold it to me call me back-STRIKE 2. The salesperson Trish does call, but i miss the call and call back. Well, she isnt there anymore, so I explain the whole situation to Cassandra and she told me I couldnt use my coupon on the item I was purchasing because it was a Pre -Black Friday item and IF they did get approval from a manager I would have to go in to complete a whole new transaction because my order was cancelled.. it has now been 4 days and not one person is willing to help, offer other options or has yet to apologize for the inconvenience.

Wanting to purchase an garage door unit the guy that works in that dept was to busy talking with someone he did not look up to say that " I will be with in an bit" ask another person if he can help he said that he will call someone and it happen to be the some guy. WTH this lady stop a ask if we needed help and she try to help I give her 5 stars cause she tried. We asking questions she was asking that same guy our questions he looked so bother. We said later. Then the cashier ask us if we found what we needed I told her the service back here suck all she said was oh. Buy our unit at Sears and got credit card there to and cheaper to.
