Where do I begin? My journey with Trish Lee began seven years ago as I followed her career as an assistant designer all the way until the launch of her own collection in 2012. Needless to say, we are now great friends. I am constantly in awe of her designs and the way she can make a well crafted dress become so simple and effortless on the body. She makes dresses that truly celebrate the woman wearing them. If you dont feel like reading my entire post, Ill just list a few quick highlights: 1. Chic designs. If youre someone who appreciates exceptional quality than Trish Lee is for you. If youre someone who finds beauty to be understated and less complex, she is for you. Youll feel very much like yourself in her gowns. 2. Affordable. Sure you might find cheaper dresses but are you getting a dress CUSTOM MADE TO YOUR EXACT MEASUREMENTS? Probably not. 3. Her atelier is GORGEOUS. And very exclusive. Its simply the best experience. 4. Trish Lee, herself, is approachable, wicked smart, business savvy, a fashion trendsetter and a native San Franciscan! My journey to saying yes to a Trish Lee dress was rather simple. While browsing her 2013 collection, I immediately gravitated towards the Joni gown. I was not engaged at the time but that was only a minor detail. Our conversation went a little something like this: Me: (holding Joni) Patricia! Trish: I know... Me: Patricia! Trish: When youre ready, shes yours. Jump to 2014, I became a bride-to-be and only tried on that one dress - Joni. Honestly, when you find the dress you love (within your budget - very important), just go for it. I loved the uniqueness of the separate pieces and the versatility of being able to wear the capelet different ways. In fact, I wore the capelet as a swimsuit coverup during the honeymoon and a month after as part of my outfit. It becomes a really special piece. The lace was beautiful and so soft. I felt like a classy, stylish, bohemian princess. The fittings were really easy - I only needed two! Again, I am someone who trusts the experts. She knows what shes doing so there was nothing for me to question or feel unsure about. All in all, I had a great time during the gown process with Trish Lee and I know you, if youre a sane-nonbridezilla-classy type of person, you will have a great time too!

I cant wait to wear my dress from Trish in December! The experience I had at her shop was completely different than the many other stores I went to. I wanted something simple, elegant, and timeless. My friend came shopping at several stores with me. Everything that was pulled for me had heavy beading, too much lace, too much crinoline, or the fabric didnt feel nice. Finally, before my friend was about to fly home, we got a last minute appointment with Trish. Im so so glad we did. My friend and I fell in love with her shop. The lighting in her studio was amazing. She was calm (you dont feel rushed or pushed into making any immediate decisions). Trish helped take some photos of the dresses I tried on; she explained the front and back design of the dresses. The fabrics feel AMAZING! I feel in love with one of her new designs. I tried the dress on again a second time, and knew it was the one. The shop was a really calm environment and working directly with the designer, letting her know what youre thinking, is priceless. Trish could see that I was stressed out with wedding planning, and offered many suggestions. Again, she did not push me into making a final decision. I finally came back a third time and purchased the dress recently. Coming to Trishs store has been the most enjoyable part of my wedding planning so far (because we all know its a lot of work). Trish listened to me and offered suggestions (whether it was about the dress or concerns about the wedding - I think she could tell I was stressed out!) I typically feel a little intimidated walking into boutiques, but Im so glad I came to this shop. Trish is truely an honest person and designer. She really listens and understands what you like or dont like. You dont really know the feel of her fabrics from the online pictures until you really try on the dresses yourself. The fabrics are so soft and elegant. Im short, and I never feel great in any of the dresses Ive owned. For once, I wanted to have a dress I feel completely comfortable in, and Im so so happy I found this shop and can get something that will fit me perfectly. Give Trish a try, I promise itll be a completely different experience than other stores you go to. Its a very special jewel box in downtown SF!!!

Trish Lee Bridal is an absolute gem. If you are looking for a unique, high quality, beautifully tailored wedding gown, do yourself a favor and make an appointment to meet Trish today. I wore a Trish Lee Bridal dress for my wedding, and I am still in awe of how perfect it was. The entire process, from meeting Trish for the first time, to trying on dresses, to wearing the dress at my wedding was a complete delight. Hands down, deciding to wear a Trish Lee gown at my wedding was one of the best wedding decisions I made. I wont lie- I was a picky bride-to-be. I visited over 10 bridal shops in the Bay Area, tried on hundreds of gowns and couldnt find anything quite right. Then my mom found Trish Lee, and we both immediately knew the search was over. Her studio is absolutely gorgeous. She is the ultimate professional, yet so easy-going and just downright cool. And the gowns..the gowns are unlike anything youll find in a retail bridal boutique. The materials she uses are so luxurious and of such high quality, and the craftsmanship is not comparable most things youll find in boutiques. And to top it off, each gown is handmade, from scratch, just for you, to your exact measurements. (Hence, no need for alterations). I only splurged on a couple things for the wedding (not expecting to splurge on a dress), but this dress was worth every penny. I ended up choosing the Marie gown--a fitted lace gown with cap sleeves. I was initially anti-lace for a wedding gown, but this lace was so beautiful that I simply couldnt resist. It was subtle, intricate, and perfect at my vineyard wedding. The dress was an absolute hit at the wedding, and people were nonstop complimenting it and asking who made it. So, in summary, I highly highly recommend Trish Lee Bridal for your wedding dress. She is simply the best.

While I had been with my now husband dating for 10 years, engaged for 1.5 years after dating, the wedding came together semi-short notice. Dress first stop - a large department store with a beautiful bridal section. No matter how beautiful, they need at least 6 months to turn over a dress, and like to have a year. Next stop on the dress hunt - a larger homemade bridal boutique. Beautiful dresses, fun people working. Another timing issue: 6 months to a year pending the dress chosen to turn it around. At this point, I am feeling discouraged! I then do some further searching, and run across Trish Lee. I send over an email, give them the date, and get a response with appointment availability. I was so excited, that I respond yes yes yes! Trish was an utter delight. She showed zero concern at my wedding date! We worked through her collection, found what was good for my body type, and then started trying on. These dresses were gorgeous! I ended up with the Sabrina, and adding cap sleeves. LOVE! Over the month of fittings, I fell more in love with Trishs vision and passion for bridal. She was just FANTASTIC to work with!!! I felt like I gained not only a beautiful perfectly tailored dress, but a friend! I got married in Santa Fe, NM, and received lovely compliments from everyone! We walked around town and did pictures on our wedding day, and had strangers stopping to share their well wishes, AND tell me how beautiful my dress looked! I would HIGHLY suggest leaving your big day dress in the hands of the ultra-talented Trish Lee - nothing but the best to say about her and her skills. Thank you for everything, Trish! xox
