Ive left over 100 reviews for local businesses on Google and this is my first 1-star rating. My wife purchased a wedding gown from LOHO bride and it was a terrible experience. She purchased a made-to-order Daughters of Simone Caterina gown and the lining was damaged upon pick-up. She immediately notified the LOHO stylist (Rebecca Brooks) who agreed to have it repaired. So, we immediately shipped the gown to LOHO Bride’s authorized facility for repair. After shipment, we received numerous notifications from Fedex that the package was unable to be delivered since a signatory was not at the address provided. We reached out to Rebecca about this issue and received no response. Instead, we finally received confirmation from FedEx that the top was delivered 10 days later. Afterwards, we never received an update about the status of the repairs, an estimated date of completion or any sort of proactive communications at all from LOHO Bride after the gown was with their seamstress. We reached out several times to Rebecca in hopes of receiving a status update. Instead, our phone calls went unanswered and we were unable to leave a message due to the full voice mailbox. Our emails also received delayed and ambiguous “Let me get back to you” responses that required us to continuously follow-up. After five weeks had already passed, we were finally informed by Rebecca that it would take yet another week to receive an “update”. At this point, our wedding was less than six weeks away. We were extremely overwhelmed with planning and the delays and lack of communication about the dress repairs only added to our stress and anxiety. The Thanksgiving holiday was right around the corner and my wife had an upcoming business trip leaving no time to find a seamstress for required fittings. The significant delay due to the faulty lining and subpar communications we received from LOHO Bride caused us considerable inconvenience which is why we requested a full refund for the dress and asked them to keep it. Instead they offered us a 10% discount which we NEVER received and they overnight shipped the dress back to us. Long story short, my wife had NO time for fittings and ended up wearing a simple, store bought white dress on our wedding day. We now have a never been worn, unaltered $1700 gown hanging in the closet which serves as a reminder of the absolute worst customer service both of us have ever experienced. We encourage everyone to look elsewhere for a wedding dress.

I wish I could give this place more stars. Christy, the proprietor of LOHO Bride, has created a place where you can finally find a sophisticated wedding dress that isnt frou frou or bell shaped. No wonder brides are flying in for her selection. They include Houghton, Rue de Seine, Bo & Luca, and other small time bridal dress designers that will ensure you dont look cookie cutter on such a special day. My only problem- if you can call it that- is that I had a hard time remembering the name: YOLO bride? BOHO bride? FOMO bride? I had to keep thinking of Madonna: "League Of Her Own" Bride.

A lovely alternative to the traditional spot - both in terms of the merchandise, and the experience itself. Highly reccomend!
