Yes this place charge way to much for the type of car you get. I have a 2000 Nissan Altima and because I have auto pay I have the option of the unlimited warranty. However you have to make 12 payments to get the unlimited warranty so my car broke down and needed a new engine when I called one of the warranty manager told me I needed to make one more payment so they can cover my car so I did that day and THEY APPROVED it and moved my car to one of there shops. Several days later I had to call the shop to check on my car. (At this point I have not had my car for a week) the shop told me that CarHop wouldnt approve it. (After they approved it) so when I called CarHop warranty all of a sudden they tell me I need to make another payment!!!! Wait a minute I was told by a manager I already made that payment. The lady told me they made a calculated error. Now that is not my problem you guys already told me what I had to do and I did that!!! She was rude so I had her transfer me over. Ive now talk to 4 different people and needless to say its been 3 weeks now and still they have not fixed my car and they still have it. The customer service is horrible!!!! I make ALL my payments and on time they are not trying to help me at all and I have a young child and work full time!!!!! I just want my car fixed!!! If you get a car here take it to get it checked out as soon as possible. They DO NOT care what they sell you!!!! Just horrible customer service. I finally traded my car in and TELL ME WHY CARHOP STILL TOOK A CAR PAYMENT OUT????? Im reporting them to the BBB TODAY

All the 5 star reviews must be family and friends of the employees. different times My husband and I tried getting a car threw car hop. First time they did not approve us saying my husbands checks were fake! All they had to do was search and call the place of his work and they would verify and give all the proof they would need. They told us we could not reapply for 3 months. We waited Another 3 months, we spent 4 almost t hours there with a down payment cash in hand came up with the ridiculous 12 references had to type them all in the computer on their old school system. My husband has a good job, makes good money, has bad credit and we were denied. This place is for people with bad credit. We ended up saying we would put 1500 down on a crap old looking car with payments of about 400 a month and still was denied! I couldnt believe it. I see pictures in their lobby with people who have got cars from them and they are on SSI, have repos and bad credit and were approved for a car with no or very little down payment. Anyways we went to 3M motors and was approved by 2 banks!! I now have a nice 2009 dodge journey that I picked out on their lot. I guess we were not ghetto enough for car hop! Take your business to 3M motors off Auburn blvd. Ask for Bahaa. He helped us get in to place a nice newer car when car hop wouldnt. Tell him Bri with the journey told you about them.

I got a car from here on May 1st, a week later the check engine light came on. I took the car to their mechanic, just for him to say he doesnt know why the light came on, each time I took it, I got the same answer. Then next thing I know, the car wouldnt start. I was told by their mechanic I would need to pay for the tow, for him to do a diagnostic. I should not have to pay for a tow to a mechanic that has an account with this place. These people are going around selling over priced lemons, to people in need of reliable transportation. I didnt have that car for a week before there was an issue. This place is a waste of your time and money. I put $300 down and paid $347 a month,Not to mention attempting to have it fixed.I work 2jobs, and for sure dont have money to be wasting. But I learned a huge lesson dealing with this place. This place is a sham! DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this place, wait a little longer, save a little more and get something worth paying for. They had no problem harassing me about my payment, I was not paying for a broke down car their own mechanic didnt know what was going on. But when I told them come get the piece of s*+!, they stop calling. And they finally came and got it, a month and a half later.

I see if you are in true desperation it could work out for you. I think they are friendly over the phone. however asking way to much down on the nice cars and trying to get rid of the lemons first for 400 a month. I didnt feel like they went above and beyond to work with me. Tried to offer me a 02" seabring Chrysler and those cars are true POS make and model new or old and with no radio not detailed. I was looking for a foreign car like nissan or toyota not American that was all she showed me. I felt rushed and didnt feel as if they were very understanding of my situation.i think Nicole had a long day and didnt desire getting a sale out of me.The cars are dusty and dirty as well and i know i may not have had alot down today but man i could have came back with more if you tried to give me what i want.400 a month on a straight bucket im sorry your warranty doesnt have me that sold..i want a car with minimal maintenance. I work to hard to go backwards. my experience taught me that patience is a virtue. And come tax season ill get what im truly looking for elsewhere It wasnt meant to be. To each there own.

Just got a car from them 3 weeks ago, test drive was fine. But now ...... the car is loosing power on acceleration esp. When the ac is on ,called carhop and was told I had to pay pay pay. How the $#@! And its still has 18 month or 18000 mile warranty. Oh and got hung up on. Im just going to be honest, I feel like I got played and it cud be my fault, I did run in there like heres some money I need a car. The sales person (no names) told and sold me a dream from the start, came to pick up the car and sign paperwork the next day and everything the girl said the day before was bs. Because the woman I delt with then was like no naw ,we dont do that idk why she would have told you that, but here sign here here and here. And I did. So for all you carhop shoppers and carhop employees that read this review then its like this ; I had 0- none credit when I walked into there if yall aint trying to fix my car let alone be real respectable business woman, then keep the down payment Ive made that back 2× already and this mf I will park back in the lot.
