We found the truck we had been researching for over a year for at Hayes and we thought it was going to be a great deal. The price was right and the sales staff seemed helpful enough. After deciding to buy the vehicle we had to wait 3 hours to finish paperwork with the one financial officer they have on staff. We were already approved for a loan and just had to sign papers and it still took 3 hours. While following my husband off the lot to drive the truck home I noticed the tail light was burnt out. That must have been a real comprehensive pre-sale safety check they ran... We were so exhausted and frustrated from sitting around for 3 hours we decided to fix it ourselves and not return to the dealership 2 1/2 hours from home. 60 days after purchasing the truck I cannot get a copy of my registration. The bank says this only takes at most 30 days. I was told I have to call a woman named Celeste who processes the paperwork. The number goes to a cell phone with no answering message. This seems very suspicious and unprofessional. I desperately need this paperwork and now she is unavailable for a week. She is apparently the only person who knows anything about the paperwork after the car leaves the lot. Also suspicious and unprofessional... Despite 2 voice-mails I left before her vacation I heard no response. They are nice enough here but I was amazed at how unorganized this business is run. I will never return no mater what vehicle they have on the lot. Buyer Be Ware

Best car buying experience ever.....PERIOD! Very professional staff. John (the owner) really knows his cars! Great price on a near-flawless one-owner car with all manuals and service records. Brand Dealerships cant come close to the personal touch I received at Hayes. Just remember people.....these are used cars! Used car lots dont have time to put 5k miles on each car to be sure they wont pop a code three weeks after you buy it. Also remember, in most cases people got rid of their used car (the one you are about to buy) for a reason......it was about to cost them some bucks whether it be a timing belt service, brakes, tires, catalytic converter, etc. Youve done that before....right? My point in saying, always figure in some repair costs when buying used cars, regardless of the dealer! Again, people got rid of their car (previous owner of the one you are about to buy) for a reason!!! You want to be sure youre covered?....buy the warranty. No, I do not work for Hayes or any other dealership. I am just a car enthiusiast who appreciates a dealer owner like John who goes for the rare vehicles that enthusiasts like myself really appreciate. Also, he has the ability to fill his lots with cars to cover just about every budget and demographic. Keep up the great work!

So I walked into the location at 119 Riverside and was greeted nicely and then told the car I was looking for was down the street at 440 Riverside. Completely different experience there. I dont know who I talked to. I was not greeted. The guy showed me were the car was then when I asked to test drive he asked what my credit was and said he needed a preapproval before a test drive. He then asked if I was over 21. I am over 21 and I was wearing my uniform from work. I work at BMW of Roseville in sales and previously worked in the service department as a certified technician. So then the guy walks away and I asked if they can move on the price at all. He said no so I left. It was shocking to me as a salesperson to be treated like that. I dont know how they sell cars at all. If I couldve driven without running my credit first and had felt comfortable being there I wouldve bought. If your interested in a car they have, come to BMW of Roseville and ask for Brendan. I will find you that car or any car and treat you right.

I made the mistake of buying a diesel from them. First off, they treated me good letting me test drive whatever I pleased and answered all questions politley. Then, as soon as I found the truck I wanted and tried to bargain with them they came up with some farfetched story of how "this older guy came in and is interested in the truck too, he wants to trade in 3 cars to get it" and thought they could jerk me around because Im young. It was the truck I wanted so I paid the full price(mistake) It started to fall apart and run like crap within the coming months.. Will never give them a penny of my hard earned money EVER again, steer clear of HAYES!

This people are scams, they buy cheap trucks with real problems, make the truck shinny and look nice, clear the check engine light behind your back and let you drive away, until you drive for a few miles and realize the check engine light goes on and its a bad catalytic converter that costs you 1500$ and you cant do anything about it. This people are a scam, look a little longer for a better car dealer, dont let the size of the store make you think its a good quality store cause they arent. I bought a truck for 18000$ that should be sold for 13000$. I hope you dont make the same mistake.

Bought a 03 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 4Door . I purchased this vehicle without going to see it myself but was very pleased to find that it was exactly as it was described to me by Murray and his staff. They also helped me with all the paperwork and the vehicle was stored inside his warehouse until I could come and pick it up with my semi to be brought back to British Columbia. I cant say enough as regards the exceptional service and honesty of Murray and his staff in the entire purchasing experience. Thanks to all of you. Dan Huolt

If youre like me, used car shopping is no fun, however, the folks at Hays auto were pleasant, polite and professional. It was our 2nd trip back and they remembered our name and the type of vehicle we were looking at! When we found the one we wanted they told us to take it for a nice drive to check it out. Well, it checked out great! A good agreed upon price, the original owners manual, and a tank of gas later, we were out the door! No pressure and no BS! Give these folks a chance, they will earn your business.

I am 19 and am looking to buy my third car, so Ive delt with plenty of used car lots and never have I been turned down to even test drive a car because of my age, until I went to Hayes. As a legal adult, who has been working for 3 years, and has good, established credit this is flat out stupid. The worker treated me with hardly any respect, and I dont respect them as a company. Go to Triple Crown down the street, they are a far superior company.

I walked down the street of auto dealers with my wife on a Saturday afternoon, and we were not finding very many vehicles that fit our needs or budget. The dealer had "no room to negotiate", but at the end of the day, they found some room. They were busy, yet helpful. The Durango was priced higher than KBB, but all in all, we are happy with the car and spent less than we originally budgeted.
