I needed to stop on my drive between Sacramento and South Bay for some pet supplies. This store is conveniently located close to 880 and 237 in a shopping center with several other chain stores and restaurants. They are open later than many other pet supply stores and carry a larger inventory, making good use of their warehouse size location. I was looking for a portable perch for my parrot, which I found easily in the bird section and bought for a reasonable price.When I started looking lost, unable to find their clickers, a sales associate quickly noticed and offered to help me. She directed me to an option and asked if I found everything else I was looking for. When I informed her that I had not found a bird supply item, safflower seeds, she alerted another sales associate and asked them to look for the item while she began ringing up my items. The other associate, Savannah, brought the item up quickly, answered my questions fully and then played with my dog while I completed the transaction. It was clear from my visit that both young women working this evening enjoyed their jobs and cared about the customers experience. I would recommend this store.

I walked in before closing for a grooming service. The sign outside said open until 9:00--I checked before I arrived that they take walk ins. I spoke with Elis when I walked in. He mentioned it was appointment only. Didnt apologize or even offer to set an appointment! Then he tells me that the reason is because the job requires two people and they both already left. So I ask that he set an appointment for me. After checking, he tells me to just walk in some time since they are completely booked and that the service I am asking for isnt long and doesnt require the appointment anyway. wow. No greeting, no customer service, no apologies. I just spent over $250 on the Puppy pack for each of my two dogs and signed up for training at the Coleman location--so glad I can there instead even if it is out of my way.

For the most part, the people are friendly, sweet. Brookings a different story, one last was sweet, but a known associate on the floor that doats when they need help, she loves to see Trixie when I bring her in. One guy, a bigger, husky man, was a doll, the kid that groomed her was great! (my dog is a rescue and painfully shy around men) everything went fine till pick up and one of the other ladies gave me suck a bad attitude that I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that, Ive had a great experience with the store. Clean, friendly people. (i dont think Miss Attitude works there any more)

I have been shopping here for 5 years. Customer service has always been great. Went to have our Dog bathed with no appointment, unaware that I should have know this........or that is the impression the lazy good for nothing guy gave me today. "We take appointments only" no how are you? Good morning. That was enough for me I walked out because of that heaping pile who does like himself so how could he care about pets. I have paid their higher prices because of convenience and customer service is always helpful. That home just lost you a SPENDER $$$ .

I completely lost my trust with PetSmart. They lied to me by diagnosing my kitten with cat leukemia. I had my kitten tested 3 times here in total for this condition and they pushed me for a 4th retest which didnt feel right to me so I went to a private animal hospital and the vet told me shes completely healthy and leukemia negative. I will never go back to petsmart for anything in my life again.

Bad all bad so bad I cant even talk of such things. I went there to get my dogs teeth removed. They told me they were going to clean them as well. Now my dog has nice teeth but a bad attitude. I know he hurts worse than before. All because they tell me they would not remove the teeth cause they dont have an X-ray machine

Grooming salon is worst ever! Manager is rude and disrespectful. High turnover rate means your dog never gets the same person twice therefore theres no familiarity with your dogs habits/personality. The salon is filthy and they do a lousy job of grooming. My dog hates going there! We wont ever go back.

i adopted a kitten from the adoption center 4 days ago when i got the adorable little guy home i was shocked to find he had the worst case of ear mites Id ever seen. they clame to have healthy pets to adopt. i saddly disagree.

I love shopping at this PetSmart for my two dogs! Friendly customer service which is a big plus. I love how organize it is and the grooming service here is great. Oh and to top it off they even have an pet hospital here.

Came here with my aunt to buy a fish tank. They had many kind of pet here, bird, snake, fish, reptile... sales associate helped us is friendly and helpful, she suggested extra thing to buy along the fish tank

Always a solid pet store. Great selection of foods, large selection of freshwater fish. Offers grooming and training classes. Employees are helpful and accommodating, even when theyre understaffed.

This place is good. I get my supplies and food for our family dog here. They have a Banfield next door too. One stop shop for all your pet needs. Good variety and friendly service .
