Weve been taking our dogs to this particular one for several years and have been very pleased. The only time there was any kind of issue was once when a groomer cut our dogs hair quite a lot shorter than we wanted, so she looked pretty sad for a couple of weeks as it grew back out. It wasnt exactly a tragedy so we continue to go there as the groomers are all caring and professional and the prices very reasonable. I have to respond to the person who gave this place one star as I just dont think Id give a lot of weight to that reviewer. One star? SERIOUSLY?!?!?! And your comment about a groomer taking "at least 3 cigarette and food breaks" while you filled out paperwork and shopped in the store?!?! I mean did you watch to see exactly where and what this young girl did or did you follow her out the door? You sound like a stalker to me. Creepy.

A Private User

Took two of my dogs there to get groomed. My little Shih Tzu came out five hours later with a bunch of cuts on her head. We counted about 8 total that were just like the scissors were stabbed into her head. She looked terrified. I would like to mention that this was not her first time getting groomed. The groomer, a young looking girl, took about 3 cigarette and food breaks while we were filling out paper work and shopping the store. I would just like to know how many more she took after that and why there is no supervisor. My other dog came out alright. We also payed about $10 dollars more then we do when I take them to get groomed in Campbell, at a privately owned grooming salon. WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE COMING BACK!

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful workers. I was on the hunt for the perfect hamster and kept coming back every week to see the new shipments. The staff was very nice and let me see all the hamsters and take them out to gauge their friendliness. However, I have to knock off a point because they have a very small selection of hamsters (compared to the other Petcos and Petsmarts I went to - which was basically every one in the South Bay) and not a lot of hamster items (bedding, cages, food, and toys) available.

Sold me a defective aquarium heater, and my aquatic frog died. They want me to bring the unit in, but then my Beta might die, as the water will get even colder if I take the unit out.......Cant ever get transferred properly to the right people when calling. Customer service needs an overhaul. Josh in the Fish department ROCKS, but if hes not there.....no one else is knowledgeable. He DID sell me 5 years worth of freeze-dried shrimp for a fish and a Dwarf Frog. Overkill.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They quickly showed me to the items I needed. When there wasnt a flatbed cart available they even carried the items to my car. The only reason I dont give it five stars is because Petco gets animals from Puppy and other mills.

Animals not always looking so hot and the fish look sick alot... Not to mention everytime i go in there... The feeder fish tank is in process of crashing and all the lil fishies look like they cant breathe and so many belly up!

Take my baby boy there regularly for his date with Mariah (unsure of spelling). He loves her she is the only groomer I have ever had that my baby has ever ran to usually he hides behind me.

This Petco has a large adoption center run by the Human Society of Silicon Valley. Its a great place to visit if you are thinking about getting a new pet.

This is a larger Petco with tons of supplies, but some of their livestock is pretty questionable, especially their salt water fish.
