I left my 18 month old dog at Petsmart Hotel. He has been there several times since he was 6 months. On 6/16/17 at 7:30am I dropped him off. I picked him up on 6/17/17 about 2:00pm. They handed me a pee soaked bed and a lethargic dog. I got him in the car and he smelled like pee and dog cologne. They tried to cover it up. I gave him a bath, when I got home and drove back to Petsmart. I spoke with Sam, manager of hotel. I asked why his bed was soaked in pee, why he smelled like pee, why wasnt his crate cleaned, while he was in daycare, if it smelled like pee why was he lethargic, why didnt his favorite toy and blanket not smell like pee and why were both baggies of food still full and unopened. She basically had no answers, except two responses, First response, "well, we have a lot of dogs." Second response, "well, you said this was your first issue since hes stayed with us." Really?? I know what happened. They never put him in daycare, that I paid for, they never fed him, they never put his blanket or toy in his bed or they wouldve smelled like pee also, they left him in the crate since the time I dropped him off. He wouldve never done his business in his bed. He never had! I honestly think they took something off their shelves and drugged him. Do not ever leave your fur baby with people that are just there for a paycheck!!!

Horrible customer service! I was told that my dog could not get groomed at her 12:30 appointment because her shots were not up to date. I told them I updated them on her last visit in April. They did not believe me so I went home and got her records again and a receipt from her last visit. With the receipt in hand, still the grooming manager would not take her. It was not until I spoke with the Store Manager Rene that she was taken to the back for her grooming. My other dog whos appointment was at 1:00 was now 15 minutes late to his appointment (due to the fact I had to get the documentation that should have been in their system). Rene the store manager told me that if I am late even by 5 minutes they refuse to honor the appointment time because they are over booked. So they rescheduled his appointment for next week. Pretty lame excuse, especially when you could over hear her talking to the groomer in the back not to take him even if there was a cancellation. I have 4 dogs that get groomed on a regular basis usually with tips its a $200 day for me. So they do not have to worry about booking problems with me anymore!

I have been getting my dogs groomed by PetSmart from when it was in Newark and now in Fremont Hub and have been satisfied with service so for 20 years. That loyal service ends today. However, the last two times I had the furminator for my elder beagle/border collier mix I had reports that my dog was "a good boy" from the groomer. I had noted that his nails were long although that was suppose to be in service that I paid for both times. Manager told me my elder dog was nervous that they had been very busy and it had been noisy. No refund but he did say he would do it personally; however, he is off only day I have off. I decided to take dog in evening when quieter and just get a basic bath, and gave my dog half a mild tranquilizer for when he is in the car (normal does 1.5 pills) and they would serve him. They didnt look at him. Just gave a blanket no. I was trying to make their job easier on my day off and they said no, so I say I will never buy a product from them again nor bring a pet to them again. They have lost a client. I will go elsewhere and get better service. I now have his nails trimmed at the vet.

Whos in charge? I dropped off my Yorkie to be groomed. They asked me if I wanted to upgrade for a small fee to have her teeth brushed and nails trimmed. I said "No thanks. " I filled out the release form ensuring that she was not allergic to anything, and that she is using flea medication. She is on Frontline Plus and has never had a problem. So I was very surprised the groomer "had" to use a "special" shampoo because of fleas? (She never had or has since had any fleas on her). An according to them she was in need of treatment. Of course I complained, frist she does not have ANY fleas, plus I was never contacted that there was going to be an additional cost for "Special Shampoo", I never authorized that it could be used, but they charged me an additional $7 dollars for the treatment. I asked for the bottle, because I figured I just paid for it! So BEWARE they are going to SCAM YOU OUT OF EVERY DOLLAR THEY CAN! Instead of demanding a refund I save myself $3 dollars by not tipping them. So for $7 dollars you just lost a client for life! Congrats to you!

My fur baby is a rescued ferrel kitten. Weve named him Kamper and within just a day he was easily litter box trained and he continues to show us hes smart and feisty. PetSmart has been helpful in getting the right stuff for our fur baby. They have a lot of selections for food for cats and dogs, toys and treats, pet care and care for homes with babies of all types. Prices are very reasonable and sale items are different each week.

These guys are awesome. Had our Dog stay with them for 10 days and he had a great time there. During his stay there was a small issue which required the Vet to diagnose, the team kept us informed and up todate attaining our authorisation all the way very professional. He also does day care with them once a week which he cannot wait to get in side and play with his friends. Really pleased with this place!!

Bathroom was disgusting! Floor wasnt mopped since i dont know when. Both toilets were nasty. Garbage everywhere. There was a leopard gecko environment that had 3 lizards one was dead. Tons of dead crickets in all the environments. I needed to get some supplies and waited for over 15 mins for help no one ever came. I will not return.

Typical inventory for PetSmart. Middle to high on pricing. Several stars off due to condition of restrooms (filthy stall, toilet seat, in need of significant maintenance, etc. -- not typical for less than 3 hours into the day). Staff are friendly and helpful.

Fire the manager as he has lost 25 plus customers and $5,000.00 in pet food purchases from feral cat people. PetSmart customer service never responded to 5 complaints filed. Next steps are Better Business Bureau Local TV stations in the Bay Area.

I used to love this store but it has declined over the past 6 months to a point to give this bad review. I stopped using their groomers, and trainers because of the big turnover of employees. The manager is running this store into the ground.

Great service! I have been taking my pets here and the service is the best. Not only the pet groomers but the owner is so sweet too, it makes my pet happy when I bring them here. Good job guys keep it up!
