I hesitate to write this review because being one of the few to know about this diamond in the rough has great advantages. One of my friends is a mechanic for Mercedes, I needed some work done on my 95 Nissan about a year ago and asked him for a recommendation for an honest shop. He had worked with the shop foreman at Vancouver Car Company and recommended them highly. I have had VCC work on my 95 Nissan 200SX twice now - first to replace the timing belt and CV joints, second to replace my ignition switch. Here is what I love about their service: 1. Free analysis of your problem after which they tell you exactly what is wrong and how much it will cost to fix each problem. 2. They dont begin any work until you give them the OK for each issue. If you dont want to fix something, they arent pushy about it. 3. The bill is exactly the price they quote. 4. The work is extremely high quality. My friend recently took his Mazda in to VCC and told me he was actually disappointed with how cheap it was to fix - he was hoping to justify buying a new car instead of fixing his old one. VCC also sells pre-owned vehicles. I have not yet purchased a car from VCC but I have taken several for a test drive. This is a great place to test drive cars, my wife and I drove 4 different cars in 45-minutes. You can literally test drive cars back-to-back which is great for comparing. The salesman are polite, not pushy at all and are straight-up with us - like telling us how many times they see certain makes/models come in for service. They even printed off a carfax report for us. After reading the 1-star reviews for VCC, I simply do not believe them. Danielle and rrstauffer must have gone somewhere else. This is a fantastic company with great customer service that is backed by the best shop I have ever done business with. I will be a customer for life. *EDIT* My wife and I purchased a used car from VCC about 4 months ago. Besides getting a good deal and a great trade-in price for our used Nissan, we get free oil changes for life! We are very pleased.

I came in to sell my pristine condition Chevy Duramax to these guys on a Sunday. I was looking to lighten up debt and my first impression was that they were very nice. That changed quickly. They took 2 hours to begin helping me. FINALLY they got to me and proceeded to tell me how much they loved the truck, how nice I have kept it, how much they could really use a nice truck like mine on their lot, and then they have me a price for it. I thought, great lets get it done! Well they said they wanted to have thier mechanic look at it first, that made sense to me so they set up a time with me at 8 am on Friday. I took my truck in that Friday and NOBODY knew what was going on. They completely did not know who I was or why I was there. I was literally told to leave and call later. So I did reluctantly. I proceeded to call 5 seperate times throughout the day and never once got a call from the mechanic like I was supposed to. Finally an hour before they closed I got through to the guy who buys the vehicles. He condescendedly told me that Im never going to get the price (that they already agreed to!) out of my truck. Said he didnt even want to look at it. And proceeded to tell me to get lost basically. I was never once rude, or impatient, and quite frankly will never go back there again wether Im buying or selling. They do not cater to the customer, they do not treat the customer as if theyre important. An overall terrible experience with them.

At first there all nice, after they try to pressure u and ask how much u have saved up, how much u make, down payment from 2k went quickly to 5k. Wont even let u personally start the a truck with out putting a down payment. Nice people, but typical salesman BS, typical salesman pressure. Doesnt work on me, i just walk away. Simple as that. Thats when the tables turn and they become rude. Im a first time buyer looking for a deal, something worth spending my money on, its my money im giving to u, in return i want professional and respectful customer service and no pressure. Or i walk.

I had an excellent experience here. Everyone is extremely friendly and went way above and beyond any expectations. I purchased a car from here and at first was not quite happy with it. The owner did way more than I ever would have expected to make the situation great. I will definitely buy here again and really appreciate all the work everyone put in to make sure I left the car lot happy. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to buy a great vehicle and have a no sales pressure experience in the process.

I searched for a particular type of SUV and first went to a car lot on McGloughlin Blvd. After high pressure sales I left frustrated. I called Vancouver Car Co. and got pre-approved before I came in. They are professional, courteous, and the owner really cares. My SUV had a problem and they made sure to take care of me. Peter, the owner said not to worry and they have come through. A real pleasure to work with a local business that is not happy until you are.

Not so great. They showed me a car that the mechanic said would require at least $2000 worth of work. They offered to have their mechanic do the fixes. Yeah, no thanks. Not to mention it was priced at about $3000 over KBB, and they would not budge on the price much. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere.

Jon helped me out a ton with my search for an SUV. He would text me when they got new trucks in and didnt mind that I was very picky. He did not try and pressure me into buying something I didnt want.. I will return here the next time I am in the market for sure!

After my original post The owner of the car lot called and Ive heard me shop credit for some of the money I spent which I thought was pretty upstanding and give me a new opinion of the car lot and thats why they have four stars now
