We were ignorant in purchasing our subaru, thinking that Shiller had a passion for Subarus we trusted him and bought a $12k outback which he told us was a great car. After 3.5years weve had to have the transmission replaced ~$2K because the all-wheel drive wouldnt work and a head gasket replaced another $2k. He told us there was no alarm installed...to our surprise now were having alarm issues..where the thing goes off all by itself..VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED..I guess now we know why it was sold AS IS..as are all his cars..

We bought a 2004 Impreza sports wagon from Sam fully reconditioned four or five years ago. The car has been great, and, when something comes up (minor issues) or established servicing needs, Sam Shiller is really the best. The man is not only an excellent mechanic, but an honest soul who is always a pleasure to work with. If only all mechanics and auto salesman were like Sam, the world would be a better place.

I trust Sam completely. I would only buy a car from him or Tilletts. I am not a mechanic but I know I can just point at a car in my price range and know it is in good condition and at a fair price. They have always been responsive to my needs and we bought our first car from him about 15 years ago and have never gone wrong.

Subaru heaven. We sold our well-loved 2005 Impreza to Shillers. He made a careful technical evaluation and gave us a fair price for our car.
