I called to ask if they had a very common size battery 18650 2500mAh. When someone answered the phone they said "We are busy helping customers in the store I can not answer any questions but I can take your name and number and call you back" I figured wow they must really be busy so I complied. I waited an hour and a half with no call back. I decided to go see how bad this rush must be as I live about 15 min away I decided to walk over. I walked into the store to see 3 employees. 2 who appeared to be associates and one "Manager type" all standing behind the counter together with NOBODY else in the story. The manager type sprang to life and hurried over to ask if I needed any help. Asked if they carried the battery I needed and he asked what it was to be used for. I told him it is common for RC cars and E-cigs. He actually scoffed at me and told me "We as a company decided to not carry batteries for products like that". To which I told him that he could take me off his call back list. he actually blushed at this point. Asked my name and checked the list. He yelled after me as I was walking out of the store "We were just about to call you!" One of the worse customer service experiences of my life. One heck of a business model they have there. They should change the name of the store to batteries ? bulbs as there is no way to find out about stock other than physically going to the store. 0/10 will never shop here again.

Purchased a 12 volt to 110 volt 250 watt inverter on November 24th, it worked for a while and then started blowing the 20 amp fuse in the car, even though NOTHING was plugged into it to draw power. I took it back, they did not have an exchange in stock, they would not accept the defective inverter even without all of the original cords (which I had at home but did not want to make the drive home through heavy Christmas traffic to get them). I thought they would be able to keep the cords, box, instructions that came with the new one and just exchange the component that was defective, not not so. They also wanted the receipt which I did not keep because I did not expect the unit to fail (1 month after purchase). I had proof that I charged the purchase on my VISA. So I am taking the cords and proof of VISA charge in to see if they will accept that. Quite a hassle and contrast with - say - purching the same item at OReillys auto parts where they can look up the proof of purchase by looking up the charge given the name and date and the credit card to which it was charged, AND where the warranty is longer than 1 year. The hassle I do not like, and I will stop purchasing from them unless I cant find an equivalent product elsewhere. They have a broad selection, but apparently dont keep duplicates of some of the items they sell in stock, and their return policy is very customer unfriendly.

This is a horrible place and definitely try to avoid this store! ZERO star! I bought a car battery from this place less than a year ago and it failed... When they convinced me to buy it, they told me it had 3 year warranty and I can have peace in mind since it would work for more 10 years... Ok now the battery is dead and when I asked for a replacement, they repeatedly said its 100% preventable and 100% my faulty and they walked away... The staff working here, Austin, its extremely rude and he asked me to do the math to understand its 100% my faulty even before he checked my car... and after he checked the electrical system of my car and found it function normally, he still said its 100% me or my cars problem and refused to provide any help. When I tried to call them, as soon as Austin found out it was me, he immediately put me on hold and didnt respond any more... and he refused to talk to my auto repair mechanics about the issues and was rude to the mechanics too... he is absolutely HORRIBLE!! Anyway, please take the advice to avoid buying stuff from this store and better avoid all battery plus stores! They are really bad and irresponsible! This is the very first time Ive ever done such review in my life... I feel strongly obliged to let others know how bad the place is and avoid getting hurt...

I was in to the Northgate store Monday the 23rd of November. The man behind the counter greeted me cheerfully immediatley even though he was helping someone at the time. When my turn came up he was very polite and knowlagable. I told him I was not ready to purchase just yet as I was not sure my batteries were bad but I was hoping to find a new source for replacements when I did need them. Unfortunately his sources did not have the batteries I was looking for. They are for heated gloves and I considered your store a long shot anyway since I am sure these are quite specific. He went on to check them and found they showed a full charge and suspected they are still OK. He also showed me a new type of motorcycle battery that I had not heard of yet. It was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend anyone to try them. I plan on stopping by tonight to get some household bulbs.

Beware of a 15% restocking fee which is not listed anywhere on their website, not told to you when you make the order. They claim that this is due to freight, even when the shipping (to store) is listed as zero - I could believe this if they had specified that there was be a freight charge in the original order, and perhaps if they had shipped it to my home and not their store. The 15% also seems rather specific and arbitrary. They would not budge from this stance and it was not worth it to me to take them to small claims court to retrieve my money.

I ordered replacement batteries for an older Unifen cordless phone from Batteries & More. They didnt receive a completed, paid for, order from the website due to a glitch in that system that caused me to exit thinking I had paid, even sending me a confirmation email on the order being placed (though it didnt show payment either if Id known how to read it. In any case, the representative @ the store quickly found the item and completed the purchase. Service from and the attitude of the in-store staff was excellent.

This store is always my go-to for watch batteries: convenient and a good deal. But I have to share that the other evening, shortly before the store was to close, I walked in also needing a replacement light bulb for my vanity lights. Austin J went above and beyond to guide me towards and demonstrate a different - Much Better! - bulb than Id previously used. AND changed my watch battery. When I got home and replaced the bulbs, I was very pleased. Kudos to Austin and this store.

Service is excellent. Problem was I ordered a specific battery for Harley Davidson online, picked it up in store, took it home and had it nearly installed before I found the pos and neg were on the wrong sides of the battery. So I had to return and exchange it for the correct battery. The store guy should have asked or compared the battery I brought in. If I order it specifically for my motorcycle it should be correct without the customer having to check for compatibility.
