Above and beyond! I did not realize how much a relied on my phone until the screen was shattered by my 7 year old. I hopped on Yelp and called the top 5 to compare price and how fast the work could be done...they all quoted about the same price so my first stop was in Wallingford, closest to my house. I was turned away because they do not work on my brand of phone. ??? OK. You could have told me that on the phone... Next was CPR, which is just up 45th from U Village and they were simply awesome. They helped me right away, gave my a price and explanation, checked on parts...apparently a SONY Z3C is harder to work on since it is waterproof...if I wanted it the same day I would have to change from white to a black glass border. I decided to wait the estimated 4 days to special order the white one. They immediately set me up on a comparable loaner phone, which was nice so I could limp by without all my settings, music, etc. but still a lifesaver. In the meantime I swapped stories with other parents on the playground who hail this shop and a few stories of others. It seems most people just bite the bullet and buy a new $500 phone....what gives? 2 days early they called and said the phone was ready. The price was $20 less than the quote and it was done in 2 days. Good as new! How often does that happen these days?

I used to have a good opinion about this place, but something changed. Awful service, they dont keep their promises and whats worse, theyll fix your phone but they break something else (maybe to make you go again). Ive spent multiple hours in that place, and every time I went, a new problem appears. Last time, I took my phone to repair a charge port: 1-They thought it was the battery and changed it for an old battery that lasted half of what the previous one did. It wasnt the problem. (Luckily they put the original one again). 2-They offered me a new phone and when I came back to buy it, they didnt respect the price! (overpriced anyway) 3-They broke the sim card holder (which they fixed but they hold my phone almost an extra week). 4-They broke the back part of the phone, which they replaced. 5-When they give me back my phone, after 5 minutes the back part came off, so I had to go back there. 6-Now the wifi is not working and I suspect it has something to do with them opening the phone. They think you have all the time in the world to go to their store, and it seem that some of the guys there dont know what they are doing.

I had two problems that they fixed for me at a reasonable price, and one of them they fixed while I waited. My daughter had a cell phone that had died - the battery fried it. She bought a new phone, but she needed the data, 20 GB of it, off the dead phone. They managed to bring it to life long enough to extract the data. Then, my cell phone died. The insurance company was willing to replace with a "like" phone (probably refurbished) but with a $119 deductible. AT&T was willing to sell me a new, "upgraded" phone, for only $39.99 (but what he wouldnt tell me was that I would pay for the new phone in installments over the next two years - I practically had to torture the guy to get him to confess). CPR repaired the phone for $60, while I waited. Dave, their senior technician, used to be a Boeing engineer but he decided he wanted to go into business for himself. While I was waiting, some customers came in who werent as nice as they could be, but the fellow at the counter (I wish I knew his name) was polite, patient, and technically sophisticated. I refer everybody to them.

Not happy with their service. I took my iPhone 7 Plus to this store to have the condensation dried off between the glass and the LCD (Yes, the iPhone 7 Plus is not waterproof). Other than the condensation that was slowly getting less noticeable my phone was perfectly functional. I just wanted to correct this esthetic aspect of my phone. At no point I was told that my LCD connector could be damaged in the process of opening the iPhone. Furthermore, I was not told that if they damage my LCD it will be replaced with a lesser quality, not original part LCD. As a result, when I realized what poor quality screen I got I went back to complain. I was told that for $15 I can get my now broken and non functional LCD back. I am shocked that this kind of service is received in a phone repair store in the USA.

follow up from previous post: Took my phone to get repaired at a reputable shop, Gadget Fix. Now they tell me that CPR damaged three components of my phone, the SIM card slot, the microphone and the signal board. The shop owners let me know that this happened when they dismantled my phone. The damage has rendered my phone useless and now I have to wait two more weeks for the parts to arrive. UNBELIEVABLE. Not only do I now have to pay for the additional parts but I have to wait TWO MORE WEEKS for the phone to be usable. The nightmare continues.

Shattered the screen on my LG Volt yesterday. Wanted to try to hang on to the phone for a bit longer as I still have credit I am using on my Virgin Mobile account. The extremely helpful service tech was able to put a glass cover he had on hand on for me -- for free! The phone works fine and now I dont have to worry about getting glass shards in my finger. Awesome customer service, will definitely refer people here in the future, and come back myself if I ever need help again.

Super awesome experience. I had never needed device help like I suddenly did ever before (phone screen cracked; needed replacement). The folks at CPR were super professional but kind, and most of all, helped fix my device in a super timely fashion. I watched many other folks in the shop all have really positive interactions while I waited, as well, so Id definitely come back here, and recommend this place to friends, if I ever need such services again.

Mike and CPR are amazing! Patient listeners and very experienced. Fixed a broken display problem that two other shops failed to even understand. And Mike did the work cheerfully in under an hour ... on a Friday afternoon! Pricing was very reasonable. I think CPR Cell Phone Repair at 3511 NE 45th Street must be one of the more courteous and competent professional teams you could hope to encounter out in the world.

While I didnt get the result I thought I would, I do appreciate that they were able to accurately assess different possible solutions to fixing my Samsung Galaxy 3. They even tried to compensate for my lack of a phone with a loaner. The 1 complaint I had was that they werent able to answer a call I placed to them at one point. Otherwise, friendly, helpful and well done work.

I smashed in the down volume button. I walked in and 40 minutes later it was working! I took away star because there was some drill damage on both sides of the button and the button itself but its not like its visible from space, its like a pinhead dent on both sides of the button. Its on the side anyway. VERY REASONABLE PRICING! Less than $40 to fix my stupidity.
