Never got back to me, I had to call over and over to find out what was going on. I was always told "the technician hasnt put any notes in so I dont know, but Ill find out and call you." Didnt happen. Finally found out the actual repairs happen in Seattle, this is just a drop-off point. Once I got the number in Seattle I was able to get more information. It took a long time to repair a simple laptop LCD cable, and was ridiculously expensive. Wouldnt go here again. Thankfully the repair seems to be working. Update: To their credit, the owner called me when he read my review (shouldve used another name I guess) and talked to me about the problem. He told me that thats not the norm, and that the employee I dealt with no longer works there. I gave them an extra star for the concern (although I felt like he was more concerned about the review than my actual satisfaction).

Upon building my new gaming computer after a years worth of research, I could only get my machine to run for short periods of time before it would simply lock up - no errors, no blue screens. I had no idea what was causing the problem, being the amateur that I am. Thankfully, Hans was able to locate the source of the problem to the bios. This in addition to noticing a faulty cpu heat sink which was causing the rig to seriously overheat. In short, Im VERY glad I brought it here. I was able to easily replace the motherboard from where Id originally bought it (newegg) and was installed promptly when it arrived at Renton Computers. My machine runs even better than I could have imagined thanks to the optimized settings Hans included in his work. You can really count on superb service and expertise. They did an awesome job.

Just the facts. I took my computer in because I dropped it on the charging cable and the charging port was broken. They charged me $45 to diagnose the issue, an explained that I needed a new charging port. They quoted $20 for the part and $200 for labor. They also told me it wouldnt be done for a week. I wasnt happy with this, so I picked up my computer. I opened the back on the laptop, and noticed that the piece that was broken was an extremely simple fix, as in, you unplug the broken piece, and plug in the new piece. It was a fifteen minute fix, and I am by no means an expert, nor did I have the right tools. My opinion: They were going to charge me $200 to plug something in. Thats like paying someone to come over and plug your vacuum in for you. Absolutely ridiculous, and almost criminal that they would charge so much.

Good place, good service. I had a mouse button stuck in the down position. Its not supposed to be an easy fix and the parts have to be ordered. Somehow the tech found a way to make it like new and got it done in a day. Also fixed a broken screen on another laptop and they had a used replacement screen that looks new and saved me about 30 or 30 bucks in the process. And on yet another laptop, the receptacle for the power plug had been replaced once by someone else so I handed it off to Renton Computers and its been working fine ever since. The tech there really knows his stuff.

My computer recently required servicing, as I could not even turn it on. When I took it to Best Buy, the place that I had bought it, even though it was still under warranty, they wanted $150 because I hadnt backed it up. I immediately took my product to Renton computers and with extremely professional, fast service they fixed it. My computer is back and as good as new. I highly recommend Renton computers to anybody seeking computer repairs or service. Reasonable, respectful, fast and reliable!!! I urge anyone to see them! JZ

Yesterday our power went out in the middle of the afternoon, and when it came back up, our computers werent working. I called Sam, and he rearranged his schedule & came "right away" within 20 minutes to help fix the problems... Since we have been using his services, Sam & his staff have always been friendly, professional, conscientious, efficient, honest, full of integrity, and yesterday he went Above & Beyond to Help make a bad afternoon better!! Last year I was told that my computer hard drive was going to crash by Dell and Best Buy and purchased the Best Buy Tech service and virus protection. The next time I had an issue with it (this Feb 15) I took it into Renton Computers and they had it up and running in just a matter of hours. No crashed hard drive. Saved me a lot of money and my computer is still running great. Thanks Renton Computers for the one on one customer service and fast turnaround time with my pc.

I brought my laptop to them it was full of spy wear and vireses I didnt know how to take to then I found out about Renton Computers they have the friendliest service.They fix my laptop and made it like new. WOW!! I cant believe how good it works now, if it wasnt for them I would be buying a new one which is something I dont want to do.Renton Computers has the great prices,great customer sevice,and you will not be disepointed.Highly recommed

I had a good experience with these guys. My Toshiba laptop battery died and I went here to have them order me a new one. I researched battery prices online for a point of reference and their quote was about the same. They originally ordered a generic battery which wasnt recognized by the laptop. When I brought it back they "made it right" by getting a more expensive non-generic for me and they didnt even charge me the difference.

I had a broken laptop screen and I went a certain squad of geeks... and they told me that it would cost me $400-$500, had to be shipped in and I was not willing to pay that much after they told me that my laptop was only valued at $200-$300. My dad took me here and they said it would be only $180, done in an hour. Great customer service, shoutout to Greg Taylor. He was great and did an amazing job, I cannot thank him enough.

I was on my way to drop my laptop off at another computer repair shop in Auburn, WA when I drove by Renton Comuters located on Bronson Way in Renton. Im sure glad that I did because now my laptop is working once again and I have made a few new friends. If you are having an issues with your computer or laptop, I highly recommend Renton Computers as they are knowledgeable, friendly, and fair.

Excellent customer service and my business computer works great! The hard drive crashed, lots going on with it. Tom at Renton Computers was right on it to fix it and help us work out payments. 6 mos. later (in another computer mother board goes!) Renton computers was there again to help and give us awesome customer service!

In a nutshell; friendly, helpful, and value added. They werent able to recover my data, but it was a long shot and they gave it a good try. The drive replacement and re-install was done for a reasonable price and quickly. Even though its a long drive for me, they were worth it.
