I want to send a huge kudos to Ann, who helped me at the front desk. There was a very challenging client in front of me who was causing a scene over some minutiae in the way your system provides receipts. Ann handled her concerns with amazing patience, professionalism and respect. She held her composure, even when the client was being quite unreasonable. By the time the client left, she was smiling. That is quite an accomplishment on Anns part. As a manager, I was very impressed. In my experience, the Olympia REI has a very helpful and professional staff. They have a wide variety of inventory and class offering. It is my favorite outdoors store in the area.

Good selection at this REI in Olympia and actually much better than the REI in Tacoma. Seems like for its size in comparison there is a much better selection to choose from. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful and approach you to see if there are any questions or needs they can help you with.

Really helpful when I went to find a sleeping bag. The clerk showed me multiple options in my price range, and tried to show me the best bags for what I was using. The membership is great because it lets you go to the garage sale and you get special discounts.

There was an employee so helpful when I was looking for shoes, he brought out like 10 different shoes and tried to fit my foot for what seemed like an hour. I never found shoes that fit but he suggested other places to shop.
