Michaels is a fun place to shop for a variety of reasons. There are crafts as well as toys and books, frames, etc. The quality of the products are great too. They have great sales and a lot of coupons that save you money. They have a great bead selection and jewelry making department.

Store size and therefore selection a bit small compared to other Michaels store locations. Very friendly staff, somewhat knowledgeable about products. Clean store. Overall very happy to have one in Gig Harbor! Generally prices much better than Joanns

Michaels used to carry lots more stuff before they rebranded about 10 years ago. Focus is on scrapbooking, framing, jewelry, seasonal and floral and some crafts, but selection has been greatly reduced and its now hit or miss for finding anything.

This is a mid-size store that does a good job of carrying a wide range of craft and art supplies. I use the app or bring up coupons online on my phone to save money. Syaff is helpful and friendly, but checkout lines are sometimes a long wait.

Lots of arts and crafts supplies and kitschy, seasonal decorations. Prices are high (hello, Amazon Prime) and help is pretty much nonexistent. I go here when I dont have time to wait for an Amazon order.
