Worst Petsmart in Utah, Lindon is okay this is strictly regarding Orems Petsmart. First off, every pet I have bought there has been sick, me being very educated on pets I noticed the signs and got them proper vet care immediately. The pets being 2 guinea pigs with mange and 3 parakeets with bacterial issues. Second, I got hired here and immediately had issues, two of the girls who worked in the salon, to be polite I wont say names LOVED to stir up trouble. These girls would gossip and talk badly about almost every single other person both in and out of the salon. They started causing problems with me and started framing me for things I didnt even do, they also set me up getting customers to complain about me for things I didnt do. I do a little research and come to realize that they had been checking dogs in under my name during shifts I didnt even work. One of these same girls ALSO quicked a dog I had checked in and then tried to blame it on me, thankfully the original manager SAW her do this and told me she was trying to blame it on me. Now, unfortunately I was warned about this by the original Salon manager, she told me these girls would be trouble and asked if I could handle it, and I could until she left and we got a new manager. I immediately went to this manager and tried to communicate these issues with him and tried to get it sorted out, well this jerk who was really high on himself decided he was going to tell me who I was and how he thought I was doing these things... Basically he just didnt want to deal with it. He completely wanted to ignore the issue altogether, and he went off about how he knows everything because hes worked this job for 15 years, when in reality... Hed only been at our store for a week, and he had only ever spoken to me once for about 5 minutes when he just asked my name. The second store manager, NOT either of the salon managers, this is a different one the floor manager... No one liked him, he was the laziest piece of crap Id ever seen. I tried for 2 weeks straight to set up direct deposit with him coming in early like he asked and on my days off and everytime he said he didnt feel like it. I immediately left I just told them I was out. I wasnt dealing with that crap, I want to work with mature responsible adults, not junior high students who love to gossip and cause problems. I also contacted corporate, needless to say they were absolutely miffed and said his behavior was completely unacceptable, not sure if they did anything though as I doubt they can unless numerous issues occur. This was over a year ago but thought I would write out my review a little cleaner than it originally was. The good news is, I went and got my training privately by an excellent groomer with good reputation and am now running my own business. I also work part time at another store and have already earned good customer service reputation. Needless to say, Im happy to be out of that joke of a salon.

I recently took my cat there to be groomed and the costumer service was absolutely awful. I normally take him to a local vetinary clinic that has a grooming center but since they were so booked out I decided to try out a new place. I noticed they were very busy when we first arrived so I gave them the benefit of the doubt when we were not welcomed very kindly. I was very hesitant to leave him due to the fact that the workers there were not very kind to begin with, especially after taking the his kennel from me and immediately trying to grab him out in a not so gentle way. I finally left and within two hours recieved a voicemail that he was ready to be taken home. I rushed over and went back into the grooming center to pick him up. When I arrived, it took about four different people to realize I was there to pick him up. I told them I appreciated them doing this for me and that he looks great (which he did), no comment back towards me or anything just a glare. I then received my receipt and waited to be checked out. Finally after standing there for about five minutes I asked if I could be check out, I then got a snappy answer back saying "Um you pay out there?" I awkwardly picked up my kennel and went to the check out line outside. OVERALL good grooming, super bad customer service and not very nice grooming ladies. We will NOT be returning

DONT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE TO BE GROOMED!! Today was the third time I took my dog to be bathed and groomed. The first time they shaved him instead of a trim. The second time they did not even trim him. Today I dropped him off at 12:45 and he was still there at 5! I went to pick him up and he was just having his nails trimmed! He was not groomed at all! That is the first thing they should have done right after they check them in. He has just been washed and dried and was not groomed at all. So he sat in a kennel for 4 hours with nothing done. This is the worst petsmart Ive ever been to. Ive worked at 2 stores and we would never treat our pets this way. The groomer Terri had a bad attitude when I dropped him off and was super nasty when I picked him up. She never apologized and was working on another dog that came in after me. She should be fired for her terrible customer service. The manager Todd tries to make things better, but saying they were busy is not an excuse. You work on the dogs that come I first and have the bathers do nails and grindings. This place sucks!!

Only went in because I needed a cat brush and didnt want to wait for shipping from an online store. I havent been here for a long time and highly doubt I will be again. When I walked in, there were a few people in line but no cashier, I look over in the grooming section and there is a woman being overly aggressive with a dog and looks like shes going to kill it any second. I understand its probably frustrating but its your job, you should know how to properly handle an animal instead of ripping its leg to sit down and spanking its butt. I was passed by 3 employees, no one said anything to me, one gave me a dirty look and another was just standing in the middle of an isle, its not like people go expecting a festival leveled welcome but at least a minor customer service experience would be nice. With all the bad reviews Im honestly surprised the company hasnt stepped in and sent someone to whip the location into shape.

Ive been going here for years for cat food and cat litter. Recently staff has been rude, the one girl completely ignored us at check out. The last guy checking us out was so busy complaining about a fellow employee he forgot we were even standing there. Ive over heard many employees say the manager is a sexist jerk. We are usually ignored in the store even if we ask for them to look up cat litter. We have resorted to going to American fork for our cat food and pet o for everything else. 2017 update. Returned an item, the employee insisted I put it back on the card. It wasnt even an issue for me she made the issue. 48 hours later I still have not received my refund. I called back and was given attitude told it takes "weeks and weeks" for returns to process. When I asked for a manager I was asked "is that what you really really want?" I was put on hold, when the same employee picked back up she hung up on me.
