So my kid found a baby bird, cant fly yet and was pretty scared. We went to Petco hoping we could get some incite as to how to keep the little guy alive. We ran into a very knowledgeable gentleman in his 20s who told us it was a German Finch, that it was probably 3 days to a week old, and ate regular wild bird seed and would do well in a cage. After getting the little guy a cage and some food, he wouldnt eat, or drink water. I did some searching and come to find out hes not a Finch, but a sparrow, clear as day if you look at pics online. He also needs to be syringe or dropper fed a special type of food every 4 hours. He should stay in a warm, soft area that is very clean and drink warm water. I would say this guy was just confused, but I would say not, hes apparently either a pathological liar or the biggest moron in the pet industry. He went on to say how the German finch came about here in Arizona last year and no one knows how they got here. That of course is not true, it cant be found on the web and no one calls anything a German finch...he was absolutely full of chit and Ill be down there today personally to make sure his manager is aware of his absolute bull crap that spews from his mouth. Wasted $38 and the bird will most likely not make it through the day....

Was trying to send a friend a photo of a chameleon and a staff member walked over and told me; "We cant allow you to take pictures of video of the animals - store policy". I looked at the cases and didnt see any signs indicating so. I said, "Then you should have signs up saying that." - My wife and I shop here all the time (buying ice cream for our dogs birthday today) and we get all four of our dogs vaccinated here. Its pretty frustrating to be treated like a child in a store when Im trying to help promote the animals they have for sale here. The employee told me that they were required to manually tell people not to take photos/video. Such an annoying experience and pretty embarrassing too.

well i dont mind shopping there, but ill never have them cut my dogs hair again. every time ( 3 times ) i take him there he get the worst cut ever. its choppy, uneven and i cant wait for it to grow out. maybe its different for dogs that are suppose to have super short hair, but i can tell you they arent good with yorkies. and i only gave them a star because i had to!

Best groomers in petco. I highly recommend any of them. They all have a ton of experience, and they always make my puppy look awesome. I am greeted at the door with a smile and they know my dog by name. I also love that they always seem to have what i am looking for in stock, and offen they will price match. I highly recommend this store.

A good location. This Petco is small, but carries a large selection of foods and pet necessities. They usually had enough staffing & their team is helpful. If you live in central Gilbert this is a convenient location for buying items for your pet.

disappointed in this location: brought for grooming, teeth, ears and nails. tail was not touched, had to cut tangled fur at home, nails are done uneven with sharp edges. not something I expected for this price.

Clean store, with lots of variety of supplies and foods. The groomer is very busy. We love the Vetco clinics, they are convenient, but can be really busy and quite a wait time.
