Im a weekly visitor to Animal Ark. I bought my Leopard Gecko from them 15 years ago (he is still alive today) so naturally I return for crickets and other pet products. I have two dogs and a cat as well. The selection can be limited because its a small store but the quality and customer service and unmatched. Frequently I have questions about their products, animals in the store and my own pets. The staff always provides me with useful info or if they dont know they point me in the direction to get an answer. The Place always smells and appears clean. The animals get a lot of attention from the staff so they always seem content and happy. I am comparing the care of the animals to Petsmart, Who isnt horrible, But that cats always look miserable and neglected. They care about their animals being in a safe, clean, and happy environment. That mentality directly translates to the customer as well.

I was interested in buying some new fish for my 45gallon fish tank and decided to go here instead of petsmart. I had high hopes but was sadly disappointed when I bought all of my desired fish... and all but one died in the first three days. I had just done a water change before adding the new fish I bought, so I assure you that the death of the fish I bought was not due to any bad water quality on my part. I also only drove to their store and to my house only a 15min drive. They also wanted me to ensure the fish on my own money... petsmart already allows me a two week no dead fish guarantee or money back. Very disappointed overall and will not be returning. This is a review for their fish section only, if you are interested in anything but the fish... this store looked decent. However I can say with confidence that I will not. Be returning for fish!!!

Amazing pet store! They helped us so much with our birds. We originally went to Petsmart and its probably their fault 3 birds died, since Petsmart told us we should get this food "thats great" for the birds. Animal Ark helped us figure out that the birds probably starved to death because Petsmart should have sold us the food they were using and told us to at least mix it with any new food, and the food they recommend and sold us was very different and they probably starved to death.

Bought one of their hand fed Cockatiels last year at Christmas time. They had her out on the counter greeting people with a few other birds, and they definitely nurtured her to be the sweetest most loving bird i have every had. She is friendly to everyone and super loving. Would definitely buy another one from them.

I was in the area and googled local pet stores. Looking for toys and treats for my pups 2nd birthday that arent the typical big box store fare. GREAT selection of healthy treats, bully sticks, and quality toys. Very helpful staff!! Extremely clean. Ill be back next ti m e Im in Utah County!!

Great place with lots of fun animals! We have bought two of their hand fed birds and they are incredible animals! So sweet and well behaved! They are such a fun part of our family! We also referred our friends to buy a hand fed love bird from them and he is so pretty and friendly!

Highly Recommended. I purchased a small dog from Animal Ark recently and loved how we were treated. Im also in there weekly purchasing food for my sons toads. The service is much better than the big store down the road. Id much rather go here.

Bought my pet Crested Gecko here, his name is Fitz. Ive had him for 8 months now and love to buy stuff for him here because its way cheaper than pet smart. They treat their animals really good and have a large variety of them.

Our daughter loves to see the birds and the fishes whenever we can get here. Every time we visit the staff are very friendly, polite, and helpful. We did find ourselves wishing for a bit more variety in species offered.

Seriously, you will NOT find a better shop. Everyone here is beyond friendly, their prices are amazing, and they can answer ANY question you have! On top of that, they have probably the best variety of animals ever!

Too small, tanks are tiny, and the few fish tanks are hard to get to in an overly crowded store. No fresh water plants, was not impressed. Fish-4-U and pet village are better for fish and other critters.

We have bought fish 3 times in the last month and all three times they die days after the warranty. My tank water has gone crazy every time I put their fish in as well. Nice people but we wont be back

They have a wonderful selection but they run out of them fast so I would call in advance if I was counting on getting something there, but keep in mind that Pet Smart has better prices!

Friendly staff. Store is a little small and smells like the fish tanks (since they are right in the front) but they have a good selection of fish, snakes and other pets.

Great selection of pets and pet supplies Also feeder insects and most supplies are cheeper here than say Petco. Also they have cute girls working here. This is a bonus.
