PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW! All I have to say is avoid Wasatch Front KIA (Cutrubus KIA) at all costs. If I had read some of the reviews about the dealer before going there I definitely would have not even stepped in the door. I have had better customer service from Sprint and Comcast, both which are notoriously known for their poor customer service. Unless you enjoy being walked all over, pushed around and treated like garbage I highly advise against going to this dealership. About a year and a half ago I purchased a used vehicle from Wasatch Front Kia. At the time of purchase we did get pressured quite a bit to purchase a new vehicle instead of repairing the vehicle that we currently had. At the time it didnt sound like such a bad idea, but now I entirely regret it. Now here is where our real issue comes to play. As we are working out the paperwork we were asked if we would like to purchase an AUL service contract. We were giving the whole “bumper to bumper” coverage lecture. The only question that I had for the Finance Manager, Bryan Orr, was if the manual clutch would be covered under the service contract. Of course, the finance manager said yes, so we purchased the service contract and were on our way. Long story short, our clutch has now gone out. We had the vehicle towed into the dealer to get the repair covered under the service contract. The next day we were informed that a clutch would not be covered as expected (and promised). Now I went to speak to the finance manager, Bryan Orr, about my situation. When I told him that he told me that that the clutch would be covered he looked at me as if I was stupid and arrogantly informed me that he had been doing this for 15 years and that he would never tell a customer that a clutch is covered. He then tells me that the only person who could help me was the General Sales Manager, Brandon Wilde (Brandon is not really the general sales manager so I would count that as 3 lies now), but he was not there so I would have to talk to have the next day. Friday morning when I called Brandon Wilde he did seem to be concerned about the situation and said that he would look into it and call me back. I waiting all day Friday for his call back and heard nothing. I waited through the weekend and still heard nothing. Monday about mid-day I still had not heard anything from the sales manager. I called the dealership to follow up with the situation and was placed on hold for about 15 minutes without being checked on a single time. I ended up hanging up the phone without any answer and emailing Brandon and he finally called me back. He informed me that he could not do anything since it was not covered under the service contract. Obviously at this point I knew that it was not covered under the contract. I told him that I did not expect the contract to cover anything, I did not expect the service contract to be liable for the finance manager lying to me and telling me that my clutch would be covered. I wanted the dealership to take ownership of their mistake and do something about it. He then told me that he would speak to the people involved and get back to me. After speaking to the Finance Manger, the General Sales Manager, and the salesman he called me back and said that there was nothing they could do since the clutch was not covered under the service contract (again, obviously I know that it is not covered under the service agreement). He then continued to say that since the situation is just a “he said she said” situation that he could not do anything. At this point I was extremely irritated because what ever happened to “the customer is always right” or “always put the customer first?”

I wanted time to have past before writing a review on this dealer, the overall service I received from them was breath taking. I worked with the whole sales team which usually you just don’t see but everyone there was very helpful from the sales, service, management and even the finance guy. My sales guy was Jared he is awesome his knowledge on the Kia product was so impressive that I thought I was talking to the guy working on the production line! I went in driving a 2005 dodge magnum that I thought I would be taking home again due to it being about 8 grand upside down. Jared told me about the 2014 Kia optima HYBRID, Going in I had my mind set on the Optima without the hybrid technology. To my surprise after hearing the positive things the hybrid added to the already amazing KIA optima he said there were tons in rebates and that it would help cover the negative equity on my current car loan. Not only did that happen but I got a lower monthly payment than what I was paying for a car nearly 10 Years older I didn’t have to give it much thought to agree I ended up signing a lease and with the awesome maintenance plan I was offered (5 years/60,000 Miles!!!!) my payment was still under my current monthly payment with $0 DUE AT SIGNING. After signing for a car I always feel like it’s like a break up you regret so much and then end up never seeing or hearing from them again!!! NOT the case I got a call from Jared 3 days after taking my new car home! Then I receive a follow up call asking for friends & family in the market. I referred 3 people and all of them traded in!! One purchase an optima the other a Nissan Sentra and the third was actually my husband who purchase a 2002 Honda Accord from them. To my surprise I called them last night to see if they have been receiving calls from kia and getting treated the same way since TWO of them had different sales guys and I thought maybe it’s just Jared but NO everyone has receive the best customer service from the whole team they all work together to assure that their customers are all taken care of. I’ve now had my car 5 months and have heard from them at least once a month service will call as well to ask if I’m close to mileage so I can get an appointment scheduled. I’ve gone in to do there New Vehicle Evaluation they called invited me down to evaluate the new line up to give my opinion on any Kia car of my choice while there they not only appreciated my input but they washed and vacuumed my car !!!! Never once me having to ask! I waited for one reason my last experience was at a dealer on Riverdale rd. they asked me to do a review the next day and now I kind of see why lots of car dealers act really nice at the beginning then you never hear from them again well not hear they listen the care and they appreciate every person that walks in the door. I will gladly recommend any of the Cutrubus dealers but especially WASATCH FRONT KIA!!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING I APPERCIATE ALL YOUR STAFF ID FOR ME !

How shall this review start? I bought a 2016 vehicle in May, so brand new. Well, if you like an honest company and good customer service, I can ONLY recommend you go elsewhere. If your heart is set on a KIA, which at this point I will recommend KIA to absolutely NO ONE, please, take the 10 minutes and drive to the next closest KIA dealership. Wasatch KIA is run by a bunch of arrogant self-entitled f***s who dont care about you, they only care about your money. My car had problems and I was trying to get the warranty to cover it, it took over 3 weeks and I had to make almost every single call even when I was told I would be called by several people several times. Well, Wasatch KIA has been rather blatantly rude about my car being there for 3 to 4 weeks because I was waiting on KIA to get back to me about the warranty. They even threatened to charge me a fee only 3 days after I got told that the warranty wasnt covered, 3 DAYS!!!! They take over 3 weeks to respond and wont even give me 3 days without a threat of charging me a fee. Plus, Im pretty sure it was just their technicians who said there was nothing wrong. 11 years and 0 accidents kind of puts me at the advantage for being right. Secondly, they want to charge $200 for a steel rim!!!! They said that was cheap and already marked down... WTF!!! I will tell everyone to NEVER buy a KIA, the brand is ruined for me. My mother drives one, my late father drove one, they LOVE them. But after this BS I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Ive already told 4 people to never buy a KIA, and Im sure they will remember that in the future. Wasatch KIA with their great customer service couldnt even manage to make a $1384 bill under $1250 for me for insurance reasons. The funny thing is, they had a $69 service I didnt even need, so they couldnt knock off less than $100 to make that much money. I manage several restaurants, I know how customer service works, I know out of that 1384 that about $800 is straight profit, but they cant bother to lose about $70 to make more than 10X that amount! What a joke of a company... To top it all off, I was talked down to the entire time and treated pretty much like crap. They knew I have no leverage and they treated me exactly like that. Ill take my car somewhere else just so they dont get my service anymore. Look through their reviews, youll see a lot of honest people telling you how unhonest they are. Go somewhere else please.
