Skip to the bottom (BOTTOM LINE & MY ADVICE) if youd like to see my opinion and advice. MY STORY Beehive seemed like a pretty promising place to purchase a new vehicle. Friendly, family-driven salespeople and owners, personable and seemed honest about the vehicles they have on the lot. I was mistaken in my perception. They had a vehicle that I wanted - the make and model matched, everything was great. I went to look at the car, was told there were no known problems with it, that it drives great. I took the vehicle on a test drive, doing what I felt I could reasonably do myself on a test drive to make a good purchase decision. It appeared to me, from that initial look, that the car was in good shape. It drove well, produced no odd sounds, nor any weird hiccups that would lead me to believe there were (or would be) problems. I purchased the car - at the Kelley Blue Book Value. Beehive Auto WILL NOT negotiate prices. The prices they list are the prices they sell at. Plus a non-negotiable dealer fee, as well as taxes. When all was said and done, the check I made out to the dealership was $1,000 more than the cost the vehicle was listed at (Listed price online was $6,995, The check I paid was $8,035) FIVE DAYS after driving the car off the lot, the transmission fell completely apart in the car. I had driven the car maybe 100 miles since purchase. After taking the car to a shop to get checked out, I was told that there was JB Weld (essentially an epoxy for metal) holding the transmission together. The mechanics said it looked like a patch job of some sort. Along with that, mounts and an axle were also broken. Beehive, of course, claims that they would never patch together a car enough that they could just get it sold. They said their mechanic is incredibly trustworthy and worked for Larry H Miller for many years (in the same conversation they badmouthed the same dealership). I asked if they had done an inspection on the car before selling - to know if anything was wrong with it (I wanted to know if they were aware that the vehicle they sold to me was in bad shape). They said that all we can do is put it up on jacks and check for leaks - about what ANYONE can do. They told me they purchased the vehicle at auction and dont know what the previous owner had done to it, but because they sold it to me As-Is, they couldnt help me out with the repair of a transmission, unless I went to their mechanic (so that they could get me a really good price). Of course, I refused to use the mechanic that, upon initial inspection of the vehicle, either 1) saw a problem with the vehicle, and applied a quick patch to the vehicle to get it sold, 2) saw a bad patch job on the vehicle and refused to disclose the fact that it was there, 3) didnt performan a thorough-enough inspection of the car to see bad mounts, broken axle, and a poorly-patched transmission, or 4) thought that such a shoddy patch job would be fine. All in all, I was stuck because I bought the car as-is, with no warranty. I put over 2 thousand dollars worth of quality repair work into the vehicle so that it works now. However, total, it means Ive payed more than $3,000 above the value of this vehicle, because of the mistake of purchasing it at Beehive Auto. BOTTOM LINE: They dont know the quality of their vehicles (or will hide it from you if they know theyre bad). Once you write them a check, they dont care about you anymore. Theyre non-negotiable, and they tack on a lot more cost than they should. MY ADVICE TO BUYERS: You might as well buy a car from a private seller on Craigslist, eBay, KSL, or the like. At least that way, you know the previous owner, theyll probably be more honest with you, you wont have to tack on any extra fees, and the quality of service once you drive away will be the same it would be here at Beehive anyway.

Reading the reviews on here I was a little weary when I saw a car on their website that I loved, and was within my price range. I decided I would give them a chance, and I am SO HAPPY that I did. Zach was really great to work with, and doing the paperwork with him and Don was nice because they were very patient with all of my questions. This was the first time I bought a car from a dealership and I felt very comfortable and confident that I was NOT being taken advantage of. I bought an 08 Honda Civic almost 6 months ago, and I seriously cant say enough good things about this place. I havent had any problems with my car, the service was great, the car was in great condition, and everything that we had to do for the financing was way less of a hassle than I thought it would be. Not to be a jerk because everyone has different experiences, but it sounds like the previous rude reviewers might have just been having a bad day when they bought their cars or went in to the dealership. I asked A LOT of questions, but here are a few things I really liked about them. 1. I was informed that the cars are sold AS IS and I did have to sign a form that stated that I knew this was the policy. Im not sure how anyone could miss the big letters that say AS IS on this form. 2. I was offered a warranty that I could purchase in addition to my vehicle if I wanted to. 3. They let me take the car to my mechanic to get it checked out more than once. I get that this is probably common, but hey, if they were hiding something, they probably wouldnt let you take it to anyone else besides the mechanic they use. 4. My car was a little dusty before I took it home, but they had someone take the car to their cleaning area and it came back in tip top shape. 5. THEY WERE NOT PUSHY. This was my favorite part of my whole experience. I had gone to several other dealerships before I went to Beehive Auto and I was happy when both Zach and Don were not pushy or pressuring me into anything. They let me drive other cars as well and were very patient with me. 6. The car fax report was printed right there in front of me. It was looked up for me right there in front of me so I knew they werent hiding anything. 7. They took their time with me and didnt make me feel like they were tired of answering all my questions. You can tell they dont want to waste their time OR YOUR time, but I felt like they just really did want to help me find what was best for me. 8. I did see them interact with other customers and I didnt see either of them act any different with them than they did with me. All in all, very, very honest and helpful. They might not have the car you want like big dealerships would, but I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone who is looking around for a car. Thanks Zach and Don!

I saw they had a car I desired on the internet so I payed them a visit to check out the car. When I got there, the first thing we noticed was that the car I had been looking at on line had smaller exhaust pipes than were standard. The pipes were usually 4 inches in diameter but both were about 2 inches in diameter--not fitting the cavity left in the body to fit the pipes. It being my first car purchase, I was purposefully forgiving and overlooking of that flaw. I asked for the keys and when I climbed in to the car, I went to pull the door closed and the handle bent so far it almost pulled off the door. We took it for a short drive and in all honesty enjoyed the tight steering, the compression of the engine and I personally, overlooked the flaws and felt a desire to purchase the car. The car was black and hadnt been cleaned in a while. We wanted it to be cleaned to see what kind of scratches were on the car. It was an 08 so we were almost expecting some wear-and-tear. When we asked him if he could wash the car, he said ya, Ill send someone in the back to wash it and have it back in 3 minutes. A propper carwash cant be done in 3 minutes. Then we asked him about the pipes. He wouldnt budge. Wouldnt lower the price or offer to change the pipes. We then asked if he would replace the door handle which almost came off in my hand. He said, "oh, well just drive a screw through it." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I was going to pay 12,500 dollars on this car and he was going to fix a $50 dollar broken arm-rest with a screw? There is no way you can do that and make it look presentable. We, silenced by surprise allowed one of the workers to take the car to go wash it. He jumped in the car, and went to swing the door shut when the door handle popped off, fell out of his hands and landed on the ground! The employee said, "wow, thats never happened before." Even if it hasnt you dont fix that by throwing a screw in it! As the car was being washed in the back, we began to feel worse and worse about how this man was so willing to cut corners and how uncompromising he was in order to get us in a car. I dont feel wronged but I want everyone to know what quality I received when attempting to buy a car from the Beehive Auto dealership. It also made me wonder what other short-cuts were taken in order to get us in a car. All I would like to say is be careful. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone I know.
