Worst customer service ever. Low budge dealer. Wouldnt by from again unless they really had something I wanted. Dont have them register the vehicle for you, who knows when you will get the plates. Temporary has now expired (11/22/2015), and they have no idea where the plates are. I contacted them (11/20/2015) after a highway patrol pulled me (11/15/20150) over and told me my plates where issued. Why did I wait to call? I was hoping the plates where in the mail. Its been 5 (11/25/2015) business days now since they where to get them in the mail from Salt Lake to Ogden. I was told I may need to go into the DMV to get a new set by Central Auto. By the way, I was pulled over by the highway patrol because he couldnt see the temporary permit through the tint, where the sales man put it. Was told the vehicle would be detailed before I picked it up, but looked exactly the same as when I left it the day before. Exterior still had the bugs all over the hood as well as the chrome bumpers where dirty. Ended up washing it myself after I got it home. My wife brought up the dirty chrome bumpers where the Salesman brushed it off as some sort of wax. Lucky for me the inside was clean when I test drove it. TPMS light was on and based on the bad customer service figured it was just low pressure in the tires. Ended up being that all 4 sensors are missing or are bad. Will end up costing me a couple hundred dollars to fix. I must be a strange customer that would expect a dealer to go through the vehicles they sell and fix problems they have with them. I could get a vehicle in just as good a shape from an individual. Also ended up replacing the bad thermostat after getting an engine code that the vehicle wasnt getting up to temperature quick enough. Strange that was also missed by their mechanic. I notice the vehicle also runs a little warmer after the fix. Vehicle also only had one key fob, that would have been nice to know before purchasing the vehicle at full list price. Guess Ill have to make sure I take a complete list of questions next time I go to a dealer. Vehicle had under 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. I had to put gas in just to get home to Ogden.

Everyone usually has different experience when it comes to any service related industries. I have been working in retail for over 17 years and I certainly have high expectations when it comes to that... I recently moved to SLC from Los Angeles and finally decided to find a used car. I always wanted to get a SMART and I found 2 different ones from 2 different auto shops. I left messages for both auto shops and one didnt even bother to call me back. When JR from Central Auto called me and we started having a conversation regarding the car, I instantly know that I can trust him. He has been super patient with me especially I have so many questions all the time. I drove the car and got the basic finance details from them... Then I decided to get it. I would say that the explanation on the finance part wasnt as detailed. So I was a bit confused when I got my first loan statement and such. But I figure it out myself. They were able to get me a low APR % which is good. But I didnt know that with registration and such ended up being over $8000 (which the car was listed at $6500)! There are few minor things I found out after here and there as well... from the tire sensor, the little crack on the windshield (which I couldnt see since I got there kind of late to look at the car)... But JR has been very helpful and showed me that he does care. If I wasnt working with JR, I think I wouldnt have chosen to purchase the car here and might have gone elsewhere. JR is simply the best and I would highly recommend anyone to ask for him if you are looking for a used car. Check out their web site and make an appointment with JR. He will take care of you! I would not have given them a 5-star if I am not working with JR at the auto shop. I can certainly understand why most people feel the way they feel when they go to a dealership or auto shop. There is always that feeling or thoughts about "they are not going to be honest" or "they are going to try to talk me into something" or "they just want the sale"... I am not saying that I didnt feel that way... But I know that I do want the car and I had a great experience with JR.

The car they sold us was good and has driven quite nicely since we bought it in December, but their services are sketchy and their customer service is very rude. The salesman was quite nice, but the financial guy was very dodgy. He quoted us the interest rate and payments for the car based on our credit, but didnt tell us that he didnt confirm that rate with the bank. We were a little peeved by the $500 dealer fee (which is twice what it usually is in Utah), and he also tried to sell us on a warranty for $1200 that wouldnt even cover most of the car because of its age. When we declined the warranty, he was very sneaky and tried to play on our emotions. The car was nice, so we sucked it up and paid the dealer fee. We signed the paperwork and went on our way. They called us back about a week later saying there was a problem. They had failed to take into account the age of the car, which bumped up the interest rate. The financial guy was very condescending and claimed it wasnt his fault, even though he gave us the quote without actually confirming with the bank, and we had already signed paperwork declaring the final cost. The manager finally stepped in and told him to reduce the price of the car so that we could get the payment we agreed on. But our problems didnt end there. We requested them to mail our license plates to us. The day our temporary plates expired, we called in to check the status of them. The person on the phone told us they werent ready and they hadnt received them yet. Literally two hours later, someone else called us and said they were ready for us to pick up. I didnt bother to request for them to be mailed again as our temporary plates were about to expire, so I drove up to fetch them. Then I found out that they had sent the plates to THE WRONG OFFICE, so I had to drive down to their Draper office to pick them up. No apologies and extremely condescending. The car was good, but the nightmare of clearing up the mess they created was not worth it in the end.

todays experience alone ( cause really this whole thing has been a nightmare) to start off we called last week to check on the status of our plates. Nobody had any information and the temp plate expired over the weekend. We got a call this morning from a very rude female to say they didnt have the plates because of a problem with the vin number. When my husband asked questions to her.. She said "Im just the messenger!" They also said I needed to come down there so they could scan the vin. Why it has taken longer than 30 days for them to figure this out.. I dont know. So I showed up after kindergarten pickup with my 5 year old and my 7 month old. Asked lots of questions ( previous issues I have been having since I bought the vehicle) and what was going on with the liscensing. The sales manager JR didnt have any answers and proceeded to tell me he had possible customers nearby and I was causing a scene he would "get me out of there as soon as possible" those were his exact words. He walked away and NEVER came back to me. Infact after 20 minutes of me sitting there with my kids.. He was out on the lot with a "potential client" I had to include yet another person in my situation to go find out what the hold up was. This gentleman says he was a manager also came back after a few minutes to tell me someone was driving to the dmv right now to pick up my plates and they would be back in an hour. Are you serious right now?? I dont have time to sit and wait. Someone should have kept me in the loop about this. Instead I was ignored and neglected. Trying to get issued resolved is the exact same problem. Nobody has answers and I am constantly given the run around. I will NEVER go back. And would never recommend anyone go back. Think twice about this mom and pop shop. Once you sign the dotted line nobody will ever be pleasant to you or even be able to give you answers to questions nor will they care about you.
