WARNING PRIUS SHOPPERS: If you are looking for a Prius shop elsewhere. They list their Prius as Touring when they are not which falsely increases their value. The easiest way to tell a Touring Prius is that a Touring will have 16" tires where the base has 15". *Google it.* None of the three Prius I looked at had 16" tires but when I said it wasnt a Touring they wouldnt believe me because it had navigation and Bluetooth and the software that they use list the cars with the Touring trim. I called Toyota during my visit and they verified that the main car I was looking at was not a Touring model but had the #5 trim option. I went back letting them know that Toyota said it wasnt a Touring but they "couldnt budge." After leaving I got a call and text saying they would go down on the price but after spending almost 5 hours with them I was pretty done. Despite all this, the people I worked with were very polite and not pushy although it was clear they didnt know much about the cars they were selling especially since they "sell a lot of Priuses." Dealer fees were also higher than other dealerships I went to. **Just to get a second witness I emailed Toyota with the VINs of two of the cars I looked and another one from a different party. Although all listed on KSL as Touring, none were. TL:DR Make sure you check the tires when you buy a Prius. ----- UPDATE: Dropping to one star because instead of responding to the review on Google, which would have been appropriate, I was looked up and contacted through Facebook messenger by the owner who was upset that I left a two star review. After letting him know I found a different car, he started to get upset and then tried to make me feel bad by saying they tried everything to make it right (offering the car for a lower price). He did not ask for proof or for the email from Toyota. Now, he didnt wrong me, I didnt buy the car. However, he has not fixed his mistake. The cars are still listed as touring on KSL and Im sure at the lot. Correcting that is what would make it right for future customers. Also using appropriate channels to respond to customers would be appreciated. I was looking for a late model Toyota Corolla for my 83 year old mother in law. We were greeted promptly by Erik upon arrival and was extremely helpful, patient and accommodating as we test drove and inspected the car! After visiting many different used car dealers, Action Auto was definitely different in almost every approach - very low key / informal ! The sell and the closing of the deal was done by Erik. It was very refreshing not to be handed off to the proto-typical high pressure "business / finance manager" at the end of the deal that usually trys to up-sell and add things you dont really need. I felt that both Erik (salesman) and Jason (owner) honest and upfront in the negotiation and transaction process. While we did negotiate over a few minor issues with the car, an equitable solution was found. I would have rated Action Auto a perfect 5 stars, but they did something that I hope they will soon realize is not a best practice. The car had low fuel (Empty) and we were told they would fill the tank if would write a good review on this site before we left the dealership. While on the surface that seems reasonable, however, It actually does a great disservice to themselves and the overall integrity of the customer reviews and buying experience. Candidly, our first blush thoughts (as the customer) is this dealer is using low fuel in vehicles as a sales / marketing tactic to get good reviews. Ideally they would simply offer a full tank of fuel as a "Thank You" and delight their customers with out condition! I believe most of their customers would volunteer give a "non-conditional" good review - after the sale. In spite of this silly practice, our overall buying experience was very good at Action Auto Sales. We will definitely consider this dealership again for future vehicle purchases.

Action Auto is great to work with unless the car you buy has any problems. This was our second experience with them, and we went back because we didnt have any problems the first go round. This time, when we test drove the 2011 Hyundai Elantra, the airbag light was on so we asked them to look into it. They kept the car, after asking us to put down our nonrefundable $500 (which was a mistake) and had their "mechanic" look into it. Well, the light was off but the car made clunking noises when going over bumps, so we again returned it for their "mechanic" to look into the problem. Two days later when we get the car back, it sounds even worse than it did before they took it. Their response was "Weve already put enough money into it and cant put anymore." Meanwhile, I take it to my trusted mechanic, and they said that new struts and sway bar links had been replaced in an attempt to resolve the noise, but the car actually needed a whole new steering rack which was $1050 to fix. Action Auto wouldnt take any responsibility, and the car was unsafe to drive with the steering rack in the shape it was in. I believe the airbag light was caused by this problem in the beginning and they were unwilling to make the car safe to drive. I was also annoyed when we signed the papers, as they had already added the Gap Coverage and Power Train/Motor insurance to my loan amount before even asking me if I wanted it. I had to ask them to remove it. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with this purchase. The car was repaired and noises gone after a real mechanic took a look at it. I would recommend that anyone buying a car from Action Auto have a trusted mechanic check it out before giving them any money.

When I walked into Action Auto, I immediately noticed that no one ran to greet me. A salesman in a hoodie and a flat brim hat was lounging/laying on the couch and didnt acknowledge me. As I walked to the front desk, the young lady was very kind. She was helpful and prompt in my car interest. As she prepared the car, I sat in the lobby. Hard rock music was playing on the loud speaker, and the two salesman (long beards, flat brimmed hats, hoodies, some in slacks and some in jeans) slouched in their chairs playing on their phones. No one acknowledged me. I was able to examine the car, and drive it without a salesman breathing down my neck. However, I got the vibe that they (a small business) really didnt care. They werent anxious to help me or tell me about the car. In fact, they knew very little about the car. Things took a turn for the better when I spoke with the man who takes care of financing. He was very kind and very transparent and knowledgeable. Had I decided to buy a car from Action Auto, it would be solely because of the finance man. In my opinion, a small business should work that much harder than a large business to put off an exceptional image, and meet their clients expectations. Ive heard good things about the owners, but their staff and sales people struck me as immature, careless, and irrefutable. I didnt buy the car, obviously (in fact, I bought the exact same car for more money at another dealership because of the care the dealership and sales rep showed me). But in an effort to help a small business with a great price on their vehicles, I hope they take better care of their first impression image. Unless, thats just the type of people they intentionally market to.
