Firstly, this place is always under staffed/chaotic. I came here multiple times to buy a hedgehog. I wanted some information firstly since Id only ever owned dogs. A girl there, I cant remember her name, was VERY nice, helpful and honest. Her information matched mostly what I had read online and in my books so I knew I could trust and depend on her as a sales rep in this store. I came a few different times to hold a couple different hedgies until I got paid. The one I wanted was SUPER friendly and adorable, but when I returned on my birthday that sales girl wasnt their. So I delt with a gentlemen I had spoken to previously, he was also very nice and helpful. I did my sale through him because a very young looking woman that had brought out one hedgehog for me, became tied up with another customer whom was holding the hedgehog that I wanted. I asked if they were buying him and she said yes (Of course I returned a day later and he was still their, the family did NOT buy him...) so I flagged down the young man that was helped me check out and asked to get the only albino they had (He is actually a reverse pinto, but they cant be experts in everything) and I bought him rather quickly and left because the store was so over whelmingly full that I felt like I was suffocating (I suffer from mild claustrophobia). So I paid $200 for him + $50 for the food/bedding so I could have a 15 day health guarantee against death (I thought this was a little silly, but I did it any way just in case). I was afraid hed have mites, so I took him to the vet. They said he looked very healthy and good but gave him some meds for mites just to be on the safe side. He is very healthy, no issues. He is a little more timid than I would have liked, but with handling I know he can be a wonderful pet (So far he is great!) I give this place a 3 of 5 because (1) their store is WAY too small for the number of people, they need to somehow regulate this or buy more space in another part of the mall, (2) I paid way too much for my hedgehog, I think $250 was a bit much, but their arent many options for this kind of exotic in the area, and (3) the sales girl that ended up walking away and ignoring me rather than sending someone to help me when I stated I wanted to buy an animal, was rather rude. Maybe she thought the family was going to buy the other hog that I wanted, but she should have checked, because had I been someone else, Id probably have walked away and not bought any animal from them at all if I couldnt get the exact one I wanted. Luckily, I had held my little guy before and most people find the red eyes scary and evil so I was able to get him no problem . I wouldnt buy a puppy from here, just because I dont support puppy mills and I believe all pet stores are involved with puppy mills, I would be cautious buying any animal from any petstore because they all lie about one thing or another, but with my experience, I did get a healthy animal and I did get mostly good customer service. Id say if you are considering buying any animal from here, look online for signs of a healthy animal (whatever kind youre searching for), make sure youre buying said animal at a good time in the day so you can go STRAIGHT to the vet. Get a check up and have a phone number for ER vet care JUST in case (this is what I did) and hopefully itll all work out well as my experience with this store has.

unsure about this
Omg we left with a Havanese dog! We love him so much already! My kids woke up for school this morning so happy to see him. Who wouldve ever thought getting a puppy would have that effect. My kids have lead butts in the morning to get ready for school! But today their spirits have lifted, i really think the Dog has made them wake up so happpy and excited. My eldest woke up an hour early so she could play wit him before school! Ashley is an angel! She brought him to us and we couldnt leave without him. We havent picked a definite name just yet. Teddy, Chip or Chewy. I called the day after (today) because i couldnt understand the crazy receipt and the lady (LAURA) on the phone was so sweet/nice to clarify the way the receipt is calculated. Seriously the recipet is 20 inches long! Hahaha! But the easy math was clear. Add the price of the dog plus $100 for the puppy pack and whatever extra. They have good puppy picks. I even got that cherry blossom spray conditioner so We could spray his fur bed to remind him of the store. Im sure it makes him comfortable too. Same smell. Lol Initially when we walked in, my10 year old cried hating that the puppies were in the glass. She said why do they have to be in there. I want them out. Well i told her that I CANT AFFORD TO BUY THEM ALL!! So Ashley helped us after we were there looking at such sweet dogs. Some of them had beautiful coats of fur too. We have babysat animals (neighbors) we intended to buy/adopt, but they were so naughty we didnt continue. Our Havanese that we just got is so well behaved and it shows the amount of attention and care the store employees have him. He even ate his dog food so well, drank water when he needed. He is very independent and docile. We can hold him like a baby and he is still. The store employees are young and have so much energy that I think it rubs off on the animals. We bought everything, the whole kit and kaboodle with upgrades. I feel its worth the time and craze to have it all ready than driving around looking for stuff. I am so happy about our puppy. It was pretty pricey but its a pure breed with papers, socially trained and I went online and saw them Selling the same breed for 2500! Yikes! I am greatful. The puppy has brought is happiness. To me that is priceless. The stress of our home has reduced in one day. The mess hasnt cleared but the feeling of this puppies happiness has blessed our home. Thank you Ashley & Laura & Pet Fair! Thank you sososososo much! They employees are so kind. Love this store!

Today my husband and I went into Pet Fair to look around. We had never been to this mall before so we walked in expecting to see fish tanks and hamsters. No. There were puppies and bigger dogs, kittens, and rabbits all in these TINY cages for developing animals (they looked like fish tanks)!! Two different "tanks" containing what looked to be chihuahuas were EATING the ceramic bowl that food was supposed to go in (with no food in it). On more than one occasion we saw the back of the cage open and an employee would hold a water bowl for 5-10 seconds to let the dog get water then snatch it away leaving the dog looking sad, confused, and still thirsty. The living conditions are awful for the size of dogs that are being housed not to mention the PRICES!! $849 for a Labrador retriever with "papers" is f***ing crazy. Youre making it impossible for this sweet boy to be adopted!! When we asked this employee about the prices she said that the dog was donated to be re-homed. Why would an AKC registered dog be "donated" to this pet store?! It doesnt make sense. Theyre getting these dogs from puppy mills, I would almost guarantee it. Do NOT adopt from here, youll only be continuing to support puppy mills. Please adopt from a shelter if you want to save a dog. I cannot explain to you my sadness and disgust for this store and these sweet animals that have to live here. It truly broke my heart.
