Lilliam in the grooming department has a nasty and arrogant personae. She was initially recommended by mgmt due to supposedly years of experience. Im baffled that her experience doesnt supersede her unfriendly, and unprofessional attitude when she is questioned about her mistakes. She has a mean spirit and has no concern for the animals she handles. The first time she cut out dogs hair, we ha an apt at 9 am. After I dint receive a call from her to pick up the dog at 4:30 pm, I called the store & Lilliam was gone for the day and another associate stayed that someone called but nobody called me or my husband. I was not satisfied that they imposed undue stress on our dog by keeping her caged up that long, not to mention she couldnt relieve herself. So we gave her the benefit of the doubt that time & concluded that mistakes happen. Second visit was today 8/26/16. We had a 7 am appt & dropped our dog off. At the time we asked to speak to Lilliam to also ask that the dogs toenails, & we learned she wouldnt be in till 8 am. Red Flag!!! The associate that waited on us between eating her Chick Filet breakfast, took the order of service requested which was a bath & nail grinding & we reluctantly left our dog in their custody. Now, its 12:15 pm and no call from PetSmart. So my daughter called to inquire if Liliam was finished and was informed by Liliam to tell us that our dog should be finished in another hour & a half. So we asked to speak to Liliam & we asked her why was it taking so long to bathe our dog & she stated that she was uncooperative. When we told her that she should have informed us that our dog was uncooperative and why didnt she so that, she became biligerent over the phone, states she was working on getting her finished and hung up as my daughter was talking. She lost her temper and we didnt deserve to be recipients of such unprofessional and tyrant behavior. We called her back & she never apologiAed for anything that went wrong or that she hung up on my daughter. My husband & daughter went to pick up our dog after Liliam told her she would be done in 30 minutes. She had added extra charges for dematting which we were also uninformed of prior to charging us. After consult with the manager , he agreed proper protocol was not done. The same was charged to me the first time too but I was too much in a rush to disputed it as it was urgent to let the dog relieve herself after being pinned up for 8 hours. I called back to speak to Richard the mgr to advise that she charged us for dematting, yet after arriving home, we checked out dog out & found matting u dee earth both arms. Also, we paid for being of nails! And it was obvious only two nails on each paw was shaved. That is sheer fleecing of customers and charging for services not done. I would like ti make all customers of this fleecing that goes on at PetSmart so it would be wise to Check to ensure you are first notified of extra charges and if consent is given, check to ensure the service was done and done appropriately. It is saddening that the Petsmart brand allows this type of behavior to go on and expect customers to return. We are so done with PetAmart grooming. We should have read the reviews for this store but we know the truth now.

Never have I encountered such a rude individual in the heir grooming department like I have today. MONICA is such a rude groomer, she was obviously offended that I asked her if she knew how to cut a schnauzer simply bc she looked as though she was struggling cutting him and I watched a few of the other groomers walk to her station & assist her with cutting him. As i walked inside I asked politely had she ever cut a schnauzer. She replied RUDELY and NASTY yes I do I know how to cut him! His hair is thin! And Im trying to figure out why! I stood watching her cut her eyes back and forth to another associate, roll her eyes and mumble under her breath. I assumed she didnt appreciate me asking if she knew how to cut him. But excuse me! Its my right to ask questions & if asking questions is offensive to her shes obviously in the wrong business especially working with the public. I then told her to stop cutting my dog and I would pay for whatever services that were already done & I would take him now. She replied rudely and loudly you dont have to pay for anything!!! She then turned to her coworker and said yea you can take him!!! Can you take him her to her take him and Ill go wash other dogs!! Needless to say I asked for a manager and complained!! No one needs to deal with or encounter such rudeness and such horrible behavior, all because I ASKED, A CLIENT asked if she knew how to cut a schnauzer. Simply ridiculous! I do appreciate both managers coming to speak to me and understanding saying her attitude was unnecessary & apologized profusely & another groomer to cut and bathe my dog. This is the only groomers that Ive taken my dog to and Ive never been treated this way by any of the staff. I would suggest removing MONICA & perhaps teaching her the proper way to respond & having a professional discussion with customers! She obviously should be taught how you shouldnt handle a situation with a customer. You dont express your feelings by yelling and spewing ridiculous comments to a customer. All she could have said was Im sorry Rockys hair is thinning & I wanted to make sure I used the right blade. But to respond to me with nastiness is uncalled for and will not be tolerated!

I dont know why all the negative reviews about their grooming service. Ive brought my dog for years, and never once had a issue. Sure... They are a busy salon, yes they forget little things like a bandana or cologne sometimes. However, my 11 year old schnoodle has always come back to me in perfect condition. His cuts are always great, teeth are good, no injuries, etc..... I recently took him to Amanda. She was great! All smiles and very pleasant attitude. When I dropped him off at 9am, I explained I really needed him back by 12, I received a call at 11:40 telling me he was ready. The only reason for the 4 stars is that Ive had previous experiences here where he was there 4-5 hours... But Im patient about it. Yes hes in a kennel, but they DO give them water and they are in a private kennel! I say try them out, dont let the negative reviews sway you. Of course people take out time to review when they have a negative experience, which I totally get. However, I come here all the time and have seen tons of dogs getting groomed, and people smiling when they pick up/drop of, so.....

I will never return. The people working in Grooming are unprofessional, rude and have no regard to customer service. Several months ago I had a discussion with one of the groomers about pricing, it seems like every time I went it got more expensive and they always wanted to charge for more stuff. On the last occasion they were not careful and after grooming my dog scratched his eyes while in their custody to the point where Banfield had to take care of him. He almost tore his cornea due to the itching. After several weeks of treatment and many visits back to the vet my dog was finally OK. Almost a year later I called out of desperation for grooming cause everything else was packed, just to figure out that I was on some sort of list and they could not take my pet. They claim that they could not because I was not satisfied with their pricing. So the message is, if you let them know you are not happy, they will not take you back. I would love to hear back from the store manager on their customer service policies.
