I will never take my money or business to this establishment ever again. Drove 2 hours just to visit this store. I initially went into the store looking for boxes and manuals for my collection and the owner proceeds to lecture me as to why he does not sell boxes or manuals due to rarity and completeness. The next thing was that his prices are outrageously high for almost all his games. Even when I mentioned if he was a little steep on the asking prices, he would get defensive and yet again, lecture me as to why he stands by that price because of how in great of shape the game is in. If youre a parent wanting to get games for your children, dont come here because you will be paying way too much out of pocket for this guys stuff. If youre a collector, stay away from this place and never waste your time with this guy. I know a collector when I see one and he is not a collector. Collectors try to at least work with you on a deal and they want both parties to be happy. He reminds me of a used car salesman that tells you how awesome his inventory is and then screws you out of your money. HE IS A RESELLER. He doesnt care if you leave happy or not. I am not going to lie, he has one of the most impressive collections I have ever seen in a video game store but the owner seriously just kills the experience. He is a hoarder of games. If you see multiple copies of a rare game there, that should speak for itself that every offer you make wont be enough to walk away with the game. I just could not believe how arrogant and disrespectful he was to me. If youre willing to pay an arm and a leg for a game, then he is your guy. I will be telling my friends that are collectors to not go here because he will make the experience miserable. If you want a better deal and experience, go to Game Over Videogames and the D-Pad in New Braunfels, TX. I have had the best experiences with them.

The owner of this shop, AJ, is extremely rude and condescending. Ive stopped in a couple times with my boyfriend, and each time we leave disgusted with how AJ treats customers. We once listened to him try and swindle a customer trying to sell a rare record. AJ insisted it was next to worthless and was offering him peanuts for it. When the customer showed him it was one-of-a-kind and still sealed, he then backtracked and offered him a little more money. He didnt even bother to inspect the record or figure out what was in front of him first. He just automatically thinks he knows everything about everything. Prices are ridiculously high because he says demand is high for nostalgia right now, even though the game, console, whatever youre interested in is in shabby condition or can be found cheaper elsewhere. On top of this, the store is a mess and its impossible to even get a read of what they have in stock. Records are impossible to peruse. They have tons of games, but often the ones you want are beaten up beyond playability. Luckily they test the games before you buy, but it just shows a lot of their stock is total junk. The ONLY saving grace of this place is the woman who works there. I wish I knew her name, but she is super cool and really kind. She always strikes up good conversation and does whatever she can to help. AJ and one other dude who works there are just so condescending and think they know absolutely everything. Bottom line: if youre looking for old consoles and games, theres a good chance they have it, but at a way higher cost than its worth (I.E. $40 for a Guitar Hero guitar, when Half Price Books and Game Stop have them for $10 in great condition), and BEWARE if you are trying to sell your stuff. AJ will try and convince you its nothing and then sell it for 20x the price for being a nostalgia item.

Came here several times. I will say this, concerning them and their prices versus other places like amazon and ebay. I will tell you about my experience with them today, so pay close attention. -----They HAVE what you want and you can PHYSICALLY see and PLAY what you want, AND THEY WILL DO WHAT THEY CAN TO MAKE SURE YOU GET WHATEVER IT IS---- That being said, I have been burned on Ebay before, on a game disc that was in good shape, I paid alot of money for this game but I thought I was still getting a good deal. Turns out the game did not work when it came in the mail. I went to Game Over, Gamestop, nobody had another physical copy of the game I could try in person. This is one of my favorite games, especially on the Dreamcast. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, complete with case and manual. So I decided to call up AJ. He told me to bring the console and the game I just bought. I showed up, and his wife took the game and she spent alot of time resurfacing the disc I bought off someone else - for free. Even though the disc I bought off ebay still did not work, I was kind of upset about that but he had several other copies on hand, and lo, he was selling them for about the same price as I bought the one off ebay, albeit a loose disc. I tried the one they had just to make sure and it worked great on my console. So I bought it and off I went. Anyway, you get what you pay for. The place is cluttered(for now until they get a bigger shop) but they have what you need and give you exceptional service. My hard earned money was well worth the trip and experience. I will likely be coming again for rare games and their ilk.

The store itself has many things to offer for the community, however with everything good it always comes at an outrageous price. The owner which is very knowledgeable about any and all his products, however has a huge ego. In order to buy from this establishment you have to buy these outrageous prices given he does have the stock available you have to first hear about how he has the biggest collection blah blah blah. This is probably due to him wanting the "biggest collection." Moral of the story is yes many products, yet stupid prices, and many mom and pop shops now if you have higher prices to stay in business it comes with great service and someone not trying to just get you for a dumb price. I asked to see many items my response was "yeah I have tons of those we just dont have enough room as you can see when we get a new store blah." In turn I took as yeah you dont like my prices I am not going to look figuratively speaking. So in essence if your looking to here how great he is and his store and not buy anything please go. If replied to this message I will not change its a waste of time to go here and will eventually people will see he is knowledgeable if you can get past his ego.

Anyone that gave this place 5 stars is full of crap or a fake account. The owner is SUPER CONDESCENDING and the store is a cluttered dingy disorganized mess. Its more like an episode of hoarders than anything else. I went here like four years ago and didnt like it. Got a wild hair and paid another visit....remembered why i didnt like it last time. They act all secretive about "rare" games. Then quote you some outrageous price 3 to 5 times what ebay sellers are ASKING(not sold auctions) No wonder the same games were in the same spots from 4 years ago. Prices are borderline offensive/insulting, Never mind they act like they already know what you can or cant afford. To the store owner, Heres a hint I know you wont take, people that come in that hole of a store are COLLECTORS and its 2017 not 1974(though that may be what you are going for) so anyone that comes in there KNOWS what the market price for games is. SMH I dont know how this store is still open. It should be made a retro museum instead of a store because the guy obviously isnt interested in moving product.
