Had a hard time finding a locally/family owned repair business (which I prefer) in my area. Called someone who was rated very highly but no longer serviced my area because he had too much business where he was based, which I figure is a pretty good person to make a recommendation. He recommended Tri-City so I gave them a call. Theyre not "flashy" by any means, but I dont think I can remember a better experience with a repair company. They diagnosed my machines problem over the phone, ordered the part, and gave me an estimate. The part was in the next day and, had I been able to be at home that afternoon, it would have been taken care of that day as well. I scheduled a call for noon the following day, and Rodney showed up at 11:55 ready to roll. He was gone within a half hour and, just as important, the total was only $6.35 different than the phone estimate. No sales pitch, no hassles, just good honest service. I was even told about their retail shop if I ever needed anything or wanted to "fix something myself", which clearly isnt in their best interest as a service company. Was completely impressed and will call again and, perhaps, even shop there when the time is right. Thanks again!

I called this service a little leary because of the reviews but they are close. I told them my oven had an error code and would not work. I had to go downstairs and plug it in to get it and call them back. When I did so, my oven worked but the gentleman explained the error codes and what to look for and it would probably be okay as I opened my door during auto cleaning. I thought this nice as he could have stated "Well, I need to come out to make sure it was okay but did not" They told me to just call if it occurs again and they will help when needed. i told them about the reviews as I think every business should have the opportunity to correct their problems. Hope they will do good if I need them but they were honest this time . BJ By the way, Terri is no longer there i was told.

The men and women that work at Tri-City are some of the nicest I have ever met. I walked into this store expecting it to be like most repair shops telling me theres nothing they could do with out physically seeing the machine, well think again not only did they listen to me when i described the sounds and actions of my broken washing machine they even diagnosed the issue to the best of there abilities. They showed me a do it yourself machine repair video and showed me the part it was the best customer service I had gotten in forever must be the southern hospitality. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for parts and cheapest way to fix your appliances. Thank you Tri-City!!!

This company has been around for years and are nice enough people. However, they have become so EXPENSIVE with both service call rates and parts. I removed a thermal fuse and cycling thermostat from my Roper (Whirlpool) Dryer and took it in (they wanted $80.00 for a service call). The 2 small parts ran me $45.00 dollars! Suspicious about the high cost, I checked Amazon and others online for the same parts. I found them for a cost of $ 7.18, WOW....thats some mark-up on parts! I feel silly for not checking another place before going to them for the part. This Round Rock resident cannot afford this local company anymore!

Tri City
Tri-City Appliance is a Whirlpool Warranty Dealer. What that means is we are required to only use/sale OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) Parts. Mr. Ray called with his original Part number, which Whirlpool transferred that part number to part number W10404050. Which is the part we sold Mr. Ray, in a factory sealed box. As to voiding the warranty, that was caused because Mr. Ray dismantled the machine himself, instead of calling the correct servicer as per the warranty agreement. The owner of Tri-City offered to call the warranty place for Mr. Ray and explain that it was a OEM Whirlpool part, which Mr. Ray declined.

But anything but friendly and honest. The phone customer service needs more than some polishing. They are careless of you as a customer they just care about the money. They only guarantee their service for a month so after they do a crappy job that will only keep working for a month if ur applinace isnt working they charge u another service fee of 75 dollars. They even try and guess what is wrong over the phone and then charge u to come over again to fix something they should of fix on the first place!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS THIEFS!

I was looking for a place that did appliance repair, and found this place. I went in and explained the problem I had with my refrigerator ( side by side, the freezer wasnt working) I was told they werent able to fix it. Then finally agreed to come take a look at it. My wife and I decided to just buy a new one, and when the guy came I told him I didnt need the repair done anymore. He said " DONT EVER CALL US AGAIN!" and stormed off. Very poor customer service, and very rude!

Sadly I did not get to have the opportunity to use their actual service. I called to see about setting up a service call on my fridge and was quickly told it was probably the compressor and that is over $1,200. All I told her was it has not been cooling like it should. :( I thought it was worth the cost of a service call before basically saying its dead. The entire call only lasted 30seconds to a minute.

gave them a call to try and have service done, and they offered a simple fix for my washing machine over the phone... AND i never had to pay a thing! It is disappointing now that i didnt need to use their service because thats the kind of person/company i like to give my business. This one interaction was absolutely great customer service so Ill be sure to come back to these guys.

They charged me over $600 to replace two fans in my double oven. I felt like it was very high at the time, but didnt have a frame of reference so I paid it. My bad. I shouldve shopped around. Ive since spoken to another appliance repair person and found that my instincts were correct. I was grossly overcharged for a relatively simply procedure.

Had them out to service my fridge 2 times and he was on time a very courteous. Then called for a washer fix. The washer had seen better days and was old. Went to the store and purchased one from then. Got a great deal and the washer performs flawlessly! Replacing the fridge now and this place will be my first stop for pricing. 5 stars!

Called about a problem we were having with our oven. After describing the symptoms, Peggy diagnosed what she thought was the problem. They had the part and at 7:45 am the next morning Rodney came out to fix it. Very pleased with the service and friendliness. Will use again when needed for repairs of possibly a new appliance.
