After reading the reviews below I decided to give this company the benefit and go buy a part, since most of the reviews were good. To all the reviews that were not good, I dont know if you were having a bad day or maybe you were not comparing apple with apples but this company is awesome. Yes, I agree they are a little higher on the price if you compare apples to apples. If you get a generic part or a part off eBay that is not a comparison. To the review that said you can not deny the Life Time Replacement you are wrong, I asked them and they said sure but they explained that I would only have the Manufacture Warranty and if it failed our of Warranty I would pay full price for it. Why would you not get the Life Time, it is well worth never having to pay full price for that part again. Everyone has bad days, some of you either had one or your just very hard to get a long with and caused an issue. The employees at this store are incredibly nice, take care of you as fast as they can and get you the right part the first time. Thank you 1st Source Austin for your help!

Came here to get a common part for my washer and I had to leave paying double what I could have gotten online. You may be wondering why their prices in-store are listed higher than what they offer on their own website, but I think Ive come to understand their process. Online they list the part at a lower price (yet still higher than what you can find on other outlets), but once you checkout, with the price of their cheapest shipping option, what you paid in-store starts to finally look closer to what you wouldve paid online minus the shipping. Then of course there is that mandatory in-store warranty fee of roughly 10% added to your purchase. That 10% gives the opportunity of swapping that part out one time if it fails on you, it just kind of stinks that they dont tell you at the moment of purchase nor can you opt out of it... I wouldnt necessarily recommend this place, but if youre in a bind and really need the part to fix your appliance, this may be one of your few options locally.

I purchased a new GE dishwasher in mid July. The hose was not long enough so I did a google search and it said that 1st Source was the only company that had the correct hose. I ordered it from a guy named Sean in Buffalo. He told me the hose was in the warehouse in Houston and would get to me in Austin within 2 to 3 business days. This was July 16th. I called 5 business days later and was told after being transferred to three different people that the part was not in supply and would take 10 to 15 business days. Ok so I was angry but what can you do. a month later, I called and no one had a clue what was going on. The original salesman said it would be here on Sep 1. Still not here. I called on the 3rd and it had still not shipped. I will never purchase anything from them again. It is 6 weeks on and I still have not received a dishwasher hose. Terrible customer service and no follow up. Great way to run an online shipping company.

I have used this company in the past so, when my heating element went out on my dryer I returned. They checked the sensors and element I brought in and only one of the sensors was no good. I replaced both sensors even though I thought $50.00 was a little excessive. The sensors worked great but the Heating element burned out immediately. This time I did some research on pricing before returning to 1st source. I was told the part would be $57.90 + tax = $62.68. I told them no thank you and purchased the element online for $31.43 with 2 day shipping. I can see a convenience fee but doubling the price is ridiculous. I apologize to all of the people I have referred to this business over the years.

These guys are great if you like waiting in line. I hate going there, I need to since I work for a large service company. The staff is rude and seems to not be interested in helping anyone. They never have the parts and need to order them from other locations most of the time. The do have a central location in Austin, But our owner has started to use another company that can ship next day. We do not have to go stand in line for the parts. Try Marcone Supply, they seem to be good. FirstSource was better when they were owned by Central. I miss them.

I called ahead and a nice lady said they had my part and she put it "on hold". I drove up there and the guy told me they didnt have the part. I told him about the nice lady, he said, "That was my New York office." as if to impress me with the extent of his empire. I explained that I had dialed a local number and he didnt seem interested in explaining any more. He went back and found an adaptor to make the part he had in inventory work for me and sold it to me at about 3x what it goes for online. I would not have driven up there had I known.

Guy on phone is a complete turd. Acts like its a hassle being there. This is typical of arrogant blue collar workers. He got irritated within first 10 seconds when i asked a question about the part. He was not willing to go beyond reading the description from PC. He should move to the warehouse where there are no people since he has no people skills. A monkey can lookup part numbers in a database. FAIL. They have the parts i need, cant wait to meet in person. If you call, make sure you tell the guy he is rude.

I purchased some parts for my lg washer and it was wrong. I called the same company and they sent completely different parts. So when I ordered a part from 1st source I knew there was some sort of issue. They sent the wrong seal also but when I went in they worked with me and found that the listing was wrong and they went in the back to get the correct part. So much better than buying from an online retailer.

Last night I found the part I needed in stock through 1st Source Servall Appliance Parts website for a price of $49.99. When I arrived at the store to pick up the part, they charged $79.99 for the same part when picked up in person. I was told I could go online to order the part for the cheaper price, but that they would not sell it to me in their store for the advertised price. Very bad service.

I have been dealing with them for the past 7 years, unfortunately the customer service has steadily deteriorated to the point where it is essentially non existent. You have to pay full retail for the parts plus a mandatory 10% warranty fee. Every time that I go in, there is a different person working the counter. Save yourself the hassle and order online.
