Nightmare of an experience. The sales process was smooth and informative. Kirk the son of the company founder was very helpful. Although possibly misleading in the choice of brand. I purchased a GE washing machine and dryer set for about $1,800. Thats where the good news ends. The team who was sent to setup the washing machine and dryer made a mistake and the connection from the water hose to the washing machine was dripping. I did not notice that until two days later. By then water had trickled under the wall into the next room and soaked into the hardwood flooring. That turned into a messy calls and visits with Ed (founder of the company). Two weeks later and I am still dealing with their insurance company. At the same time the GE set I purchased from them had a failure. The washer makes a loud rattling noise during the wash cycle. Several calls and a visit by a GE technician have not resolved it. The GE technician came by, looked at it for 15 minutes and declared there was nothing wrong. After this I called and asked Ed to just return the set and replace with a better brand. Same thing I would do if I purchased from Home Depot. The answer was that its not that easy and I need to be more patient. It could take another few weeks and nothing they could do about it. We will see how this story ends, but its definitely not how I imagined it would go thus far.

Called in to ask if they carried Thermal Fuses for my Whirlpool dryer as I need to replace one. Was then asked for a model number, which I didnt have. He said, "look man, if you dont have a model number, well need an agreement that if its the wrong part, we wont accept the return." I said, yeah man no big deal I mean its probably less than $10 right? (the vast majority of thermal fuses I found online were less than $10 - it was a fair question/assumption). Then he said he didnt know about that, which I told him Im seeing online that these fuses generally arent that expensive (mentioning that in the sense that its no big deal if I have to return to buy another one). He switched tone of voices and says, well then go do that man, go buy it online, I was just trying to help you out. To which I replied, hey man, youve been helpful. Then he says, its just I have people calling in here acting like they know what theyre talking about, not knowing anything. I mean, this guy is supposed to be answering questions from people that call in. Hes the "expert", thats why I called to ask questions. Then I get called some phony know-it-all? This man needs to be retrained or supervised on the phones. I wonder how many other people hes deterred from here with his piss-poor attitude and lack of understanding his role.

Hidden Gem. Been driving past their unassuming shop on Romeria since I moved into the neighborhood 15 years ago... I just discovered them when I bought a scratch and dent GE for my home 3 months ago. When I thought the GE was going bad (it stopped cooling). I called them to complain and they immediately scheduled a GE cert. tech. to come fix... BUT it would be 7 days before they would come out.... SO, Appliance Associates offered to bring me a loaner fridge the next day, at no charge. Later that day I figured out that the GE wasnt cooling because I left the freezer door slightly open and the vents got frosted over... cleared the frost... all is good. Cancelled loaner fridge. I just revisited Appliance Associates today to buy a fridge for a rental property of mine. Quick, easy, professional.

These guys were great! I purchased replacement "dogs" for my washing machine agitator because the top half of it wasnt spinning anymore. I could not get to the dogs and was sure Id just have to buy a whole new agitator. I called them up to check on availability and instead of just pushing that order through they asked about my problem and invited me to come on in and they would help me out. My agitator was indeed a bit odd, they said they had never seen one put together exactly like it, but within 5 minutes they had it apart and were glad to watch me put it back together. A quick trip back home and the jeans are already running in the wash. Thank you!!!

We had been promised delivery before 2:00 PM and a call 30 minutes before they were on their way. I called them at 1:45. Found out they wouldnt deliver before 3:45. And that their policy was to call if they were going to be late, but their guy who does that was on vacation. On the phone they boasted of this service of the call in case of late delivery as if I had received it. I suggested they deliver the dryer for free. They said they would rather cancel the sale. Rude and terrible customer service and I missed a whole days work. We will NEVER use them again. Never.

My parents were clients and I knew of the great deals they have gotten. When it came to my first home, my husband and I purchased all our appliances from Appliance Associates. They were knowledgeable and helpful and the best flat out deal. On our second home, of course we went straight to Kirk. We decided to price comparison and still Appliance Associates offered the best deal and best customer service. We are back for our third home and couldnt be happier. Thanks Kirk for all of your patience and being so helpful. We are lifetime clients!!

I was looking for a refrigerator for my garage, so I didnt mind if it was scratched or dented. I called and they gave me a price over the phone. I went in the next day and bought it. I got an amazing deal on a brand new fridge with just a tiny dent on the front. They delivered the next day. The whole process was almost effortless and I couldnt be happier about the money I saved. Kirk, who was the one helping me, was extremely nice. They also have appliances in perfect condition if that is what youre looking for.

I was very pleased with my experience with Appliance Associates. They were polite and quick on the phone. When I went to pick up the part I needed, I asked a question about the part. The man helping me answered my questions respectfully. Being a female, I get a lot of men in various repair industries that treat me like I dont have a thought in my head, much less be able to understand how to do a repair on my own. I was very please with Appliance Associates and will definitely do business with them in the future.

Got a great deal on my refrigerator and 2 years later I still love it. They were busy when I went in to look, but they did take the time to explain everything, and set up delivery. When it arrived, it wouldnt fit past the island in the kitchen, and he offered to send out a smaller model. But my neighbor found 3 strong men who were able to lift it over the island. Great customer service Im happy I went there.

Definitely not a shop to go to for parts. Came in looking for a really common part for my dishwasher on the recommendation of a professional. He assured me that they have stuff in stock because they do a brisk repair trade. The salesman wouldnt even hear me out before he said I needed to special order it, and bring in my dishwasher model number etc. Just plain shut me down about spare parts. No thank you.
