Ive been going to this Best Buy for 5 years now. The are ALWAYS courteous and willing to help in any way they can. They do not hard sell and are not paid commission. If any of you expect these mostly young adults on the floor to know every detail about every kind of computer, software, camera, tablet, television, DVD, printer, cell phone, appliance, and a zillion other products, then you are expecting God himself to work there (and He doesnt, by the way). For the negative reviewers who complains about the phone answering, I would implore you to try to step into the next generation. Go online. Shop on your phone. Do you research about products on Google. Read reviews on Amazon. Do people REALLY need to call stores anymore. And my personal favorite, for those of you who swear to never shop there again; I say GOOD RIDDANCE! Thats more space for me to browse and "play" without you whining like s baby over $12.00. Get a life. I love Best Buy and my kids would rather go there than Chucky Cheese. Looking forward to my next visit in about 2 hours from now.

How does this business operate without answering the phone is what I want to know! After attempting to get a hold of a person from this Best Buy in Longview- I read the reviews for this store to find I am not the only one!! I have called this store for 7 hours straight and I havent had one answer. I was calling to hold an expensive LCD HDTV until I could drive over from Bossier City and purchase it...........wait as I write this they finally answered and told me that if they transferred me I would be helped faster and then I was transferred to a machine that said they were unavailable. HORRIBLE NIGHT MARE I kept calling back to back and when someone finally helped me they said their INVENTORY WAS OFF (shocker) and they admitted to showing the tv instock, but said they actually do not have it. What a waste of a day trying to get them & all b/c they are not keeping their inventory up. Do they have a manager that oversees anything??

I recently went into best buy to purchase a new stereo for my vehicle. not only did they offer great products, they were at unbeatable prices too. The employee who helped me seemed to have all the answers. he knew exactly what dash kit, adapters, speakers and amp i needed. He even went as far to tell me a little about how to put it in after i politely refused their installation service. I cant believe employees go this far to help a customer. Best Buy is definitely making some changes for the better with their new CEO. I even purchased the protection plan for my stereo, so now im covered for any damage for three years. The best part is, that today, i actually went back and saw the stereo i purchased was on sell and the friendly customer service staff gave me a refund for the difference of the two prices. I love that 30 day price match guarantee.

Being a recent widow and trying to save money I went to Best Buy to try and find an antenna and do away with dish. Finding help was difficult. First associate did not ask how far I wanted it to reach. I felt overwhelmed. I returned the second day and bought a 65 mile antenna that is almost worthless. It says do not return to Best Buy. Sorry, you got my money for a product and once the door is closed on the register, you are out of luck. One area they have failed me on.

Good customer service to a point, but I dont recommend going. First the careless employee sold me a spanish version of microsoft.. and almost refused to let me return it. Secondly I bought a tower and monitor, the salesman assured me they would match up, but after I got home and started to set up I realized he misinformed me. They are nice, but I believe they are too focused on quick service rather than quality service. I recommend taking business elsewhere.

Very nice store, they are really good on some technical items and are lacking on others but for 98% of the questions/issues/buys they are right on top of things. After writing the above I read a few of other reviews and one said "they never answer their phones". As I am here on hold with them for the third time today, I have to drop from 5 to 4 stars. They answered and I am on the phone with them now. He is really good and helpful. Back to 5 stars.

Didnt answer the phone the first time I called when I finally got a hold of someone they quoted a certain amount. When I arrived Shawn arrived at 11:00, basically waiting on him to show up. When we looked at what the task was going to be he said it would be $100 more dollars due to be being mis quoted and a extra 40 to hook up 4 wires. Dude was very unprofessional! I guess thats why he is an installer for best buy audio!!

Great with customer service and just about all their employees are great with the info on the products but they just need to have their products in stock. Hardly keep things in stock.... @Jordan Wood what you said about the monitor and the tower matching up doesnt make sense unless you talking about the brand of them lmao... especially if you bought both of them at the same time from the same place

When you call and ask for a department you get sent to a black hole. Dont ever expect your call to be answered if you have a question about an item you already purchased. They do not answer the phone. Then I called back and no one answered at all. I have had problems in the past calling also. You can not get any help that way. I have to drive 50 minutes in order to get any help from this store.

Ive been visiting this store for years now and Ive yet to be dissapointed. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Not at all pushy which is a important factor to me, they are perfectly fine with you browsing the store with the only intent of testing products, and always available if you have a question. I plan to continue shopping here and would highly recommend to anyone.

First off, there are way too many Employees on the floor just standing around. Second, which is the reason I dont go there unless I absolutely have to, is the customer service is crap! Their representatives think theyre smarter than everyone else. Wrong!! Best Buy in Longview,TX is terrible. To top it all off, Everything is over priced. I wish Circuit City were still with us.

Run away! This store is the worst managed retailer store I have ever visited. The original salesperson screwed up my appliance order. Then It literally took weeks and hours of phone calls and multiple store visits simply cancel the order that the store screwed up. In the meantime the store held on to my payment. Just run from this store!

Usually have a good experience here but last time I was in the store I only needed a simple cord. The sales person only wanted to talk me into buying about 1,000 + worth of new equipment instead of helping me with the cord I needed. I left the store without buying anything and made the $15 purchase from Amazon instead.
