I know its Walmart and we all love to hate Walmart, but seriously. Customer service is not practiced here. If your store is open 24 hours, your departments that make up the majority of your store should be staffed and opened as well. Fitting rooms should be open at least til midnight with more than half the front of your store being softlines. Jewelry counter being closed before 9, ok, but being told very rudely that it was closed, wasnt very customer friendly either. If you are going to close a department, post somewhere the times it is open and available instead of just putting a shopping cart in it. That looks trashy, and there are better ways to secure your cases. Why not give the keys to the manager so when a customer needs something, it can be made available to them to buy? In summary, Post the times your departments close like you did in automotive. Remind your associates that there are better ways to interact with the public. I know retail sucks, Ive worked it. But Walmart isnt so big that enough poor experiences by people shopping wont have a major impact on that thing you do care about- the bottom line.

Personally, I think this Walmart is good compared to the numerous Walmarts you encounter elsewhere. Im originally from a very urban city of over million people and our Walmarts were lack luster. And they closed at either 10pm or midnight! Awful. Here, employees actually ask if you need help, stand at the beginning of their lane to indicate that they are open then ask if youre ready to check out. The customer service line is the same at every single Walmart - long and usually with one worker. But lets be real and honest, if you come to Walmart expecting to get world class, employees groveling at your feet like you walk on water, you shouldnt shop at Walmart. Maybe Target instead? From what Ive seen, they do their best to keep things stocked. Yes, some of the employees could definitely learn better customer service but When you go to a Walmart, look around at the patrons. Websites like people of Walmart exist for a reason, so I feel for the employees sometimes. This place is a one stop shop and not a terrible one.

Its pretty much what you can expect from a Walmart. Everything is cheap, the produce sucks, but the pre packaged food is the same as always. Lightings fine, very large, wide selection, etc. Horrible clientele as always, which I why I only go in the early mornings, never a weekend. Amazing online ordering! I can just set up an order for everything on my shopping list, pay online, and go and pick it up within an hour of the time I set. Dont have to deal with walking around, lines, annoying customers, anything one would find annoying about grocery shopping. They literally load it up in my car, and Im done! Love it, cuz then I dont have to deal with the INSANE PARKING! Ive pulled out to have some guy speed up to almost hit me from the other end of the lane, roll down his window and start screaming at me, honking for no reason. I drove away of course, but Im an early shopper from now on.

They guy in the gardening center was one of the rudest people I have ever met. He demanded to see my reciept which is understandable "reducing theft" but it was the way the man asked "practically as I was out the door". The isles are too small for the volume this store does. On my last visit it took me literally 20 minutes to find peperoni, "they were hidden behind some small kids snack small size pepperoni and I asked help from an employee "of course no clue". Overall I have had quite a few issues with this store and try not to shop here, after all most of the products outside of food are from china, and quite a bit of the food is from outside the US as well. I have had the skim milks go bad and after I quit buying milk they have lost a lot of my buisness, now I do like sams next door but dont buy milk there.

I reported here to get flowers for my mom in the hospital. An employee asked around about where there are flowers. Nobody found any. As I was leaving the store I saw a gentleman with flowers and asked where he found them. He said someone had to get them out of the back because they were being held for black Friday. You couldve sold me flowers today. I need them today, not black Friday. In your quest to make us buy things when you, the vendor, wants, you leave out certain groups of people, such as me. Trying to cheer up my hospitalized mom. I dont like having my needs curbed by greed. I am now searching elsewhere for flowers. Kudos for being open thanksgiving day. However, you should not restrict merchandise, whenever people go there, they want to buy something NOW.

This Walmart Supercenter is located next to Sams. This Wal-Mart hires people with green-cards/visas, disabled, white, black, Christian and pagans work here. It has a great diversity of staff. Police, nurses, and firefighters frequent here. There is a deli and a fast-food restaurant. They sell some local produce. Sanitizer wipes are provided with each cart. There is a automotive service station in Sams Club and in this Walmart. This Wal-Mart does have gas pumps that close at 9PM.They discount on gift cards for getting gas has been moved down from 10 cents to 3 cents. Easy access off of 259 from Walmart street. Decent security with cameras and security guard in the parking lot to detour any crimes.

EVERYONE MUST KNOW IF YOU DONT PASS THE THE QUESTIONS ON THE ONLINE APPLICATION THEN YOU ARE NOT HIREABLE BUT THE ONES THAT FAIL ARE THE BEST WORKERS OF ALL BUT THE ONES THAT PASS COULD BE LAZY ONES AND THATS WHY THEY ARE SO SHORT STAFFED AND THE REASON YOU CANT GET ANY HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT. THAT QUESTIONNAIRE PART IS SO DISCRIMINATING. PROVE ME WRONG. THAT GOES FOR SIMPLE JOBS LIKE CLEANING OR BEING AN OVERNIGHT STOCKER. DUE TO THE QUESTIONNAIRES ON JOB APPLICATIONS IS THE REASON THAT UNEMPLOYMENT LEVELS IN THE UNITED STATES IS SO HIGH AND THEY ARE IN A WAY TERRORISM TO AMERICANS BY AMERICANS AND MR. SAM WALDEN WOULD BE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH IT.

Rarely has what im looking for. They carry it but this one is so busy that its always sold out. Im surprised noone seems to be doing inventory research there. It would make sense to me that if you constantly sell out of something that someone would figure out to just ORDER MORE for the next quarter. I just go to the one over on Gilmer road to get what I just have to have. Also dont ever come late we came at about 11:45pm thinking wed just get like 3 items on the way home and they only had ONE checkout lane open!! So the whole store was trying to funnel through one checkout lane. I just put my items down and walked out...

This Walmart is the same as any other, really. A few things, being a northerner originally, I noticed. The food options are more focused towards the spicy end of the spectrum, which I enjoy. There are many spices, and fresh/prepared foods that I have never seen in a northern Walmart, and the foods and spices Im used to seeing, arent down here. I found the difference to be enjoyable to discover. There is a much larger Latino American population to cater to down here, and I find that this fact has not escaped Walmarts notice. Other than this difference, the store is completely normal, and just like any other Walmart.
