One associate at the self checkout. Our item wouldnt scan. Lady asked us step out of line and go back to electronics to check out because no one could come to the front of the store to help us. Clerk in electronics was playing on a tablet. He typed in the sku because item would not scan and gives us the total for that item. I point out we also wanted the poster that we had set on the counter as well. He rang that up, my daughter paid for both items, he returned her change. Then he hands me an empty Target bag. I kind of lost it then stating that "I didnt realize Target had gone to bag your own items aside from self checkout". This was at 2pm on Wednesday and the store was not crowded at all. Electronics associate had plenty of time to play on a tablet, but really needed to focus more on customer service.

Sadly, this is the closest Target to my house. However, this store has been shuffling things around for months now, and nothing is ever in the same place it was the last time I was there. How long can it really take to reorganize a store that small? I am tired of having to walk around the entire place five times to find every item on my list. IF they even happen to have what I need in stock. Aside from that, this store is not as clean as most other Targets I have visited, and some of the employees are just plain rude. I still like the Target chain better than any of its competitors, so I guess I will be driving a bit farther to take my business to a Target on the Kansas side of State Line.

This Target is CRAZY BUSY on the weekends. The parking lot is always full with unapologetic drives who dont know how to drive. The team members are EXCELLENT and help whenever they can. But because they are so busy with customers asking silly questions its hard to find them on the floor. I like everyone in there Starbucks cafe but just try to avoid it on the weekends because everyone is trying to get a drink and they usually only have one person working behind the bar. If you dont want a long wait go to the self check-out in front of the mall entrance. You can avoid all the crazy people inside the store by going with this route.

Credit where credit is due. Ive been going to this store for 3 three years. For the first 2 years I would definitely have agreed with all the preceeding reviews (I went for the prices and convenience). In the past year, however, there have been vast improvements in the quality of the service, and theyve added more groceries, improved the layout, and generally upgraded the overall experience. Im not saying you wont go into the store and have one of the experiences of previous reviewers (lots of teenagers working in this store, fwiw), but you are much, much less likely to have them than before.

This Target isnt terrible, but its set up a little strange. Its in the Ward Parkway Shopping Center, so everything a little off from the start. Theyre smaller, so the selection isnt as great as a standard Target, and they run out of things quickly (shoes on popular sizes, etc.). That being said, it gets the job done. Its still Target, which beats the heck out of Walmart any day. The employees are friendly, its reasonably clean and well lit, and you can get paper towels when you need them.

Just shopped this Target during the busy holiday season. Truthfully, I was dreading it. The crowds, lines, etc. To my surprise the store was very well staffed and stocked. I was approached several times by very friendly staff to ensure I was finding everything ok, and to my surprise, there was absolutely no wait at checkout. They had many many lanes open and running smoothly. My checker was friendly, quick and professional. Kudos to all for surpassing my expectations!

I just returned from the Target on Ward Parkway and had a very good experience. The brand and type of coffee I wanted had an empty bin. 2 ladies dug around in the other bins and found the one I wanted. One was so persistent. When I told her I would like to buy 2 she continued until she found another. I will never forget those 2 ladies. I have lots of bad shopping experiences, so this mad it so much better. Thank you ladies!

This Target always seems like its hanging on by a thread - understaffed and under-stocked... Theyve been trying to make a lot of improvements over the past year, which have helped immensely, but this location is just too small for their needs really. However, when alls said and done, Im grateful to have a Target so centrally located in KC, otherwise I would never be able to shop there.

Terrible customer service, cashier never looked up and never acknowledged us. It was an insult to targret and I was in the store one other time at Thanksgiving and the cashier was rude and never gave eye contact at all. Both times we looked around , but no manager or any supervisor at all. We will not be going back, good thing there are other Target stores that welcome the business,

Target is often considered the anti-Wal-Mart and for good reason. They tend to be cleaner and while the price tends to be higher, they still are quite competitive. This Target is no different. It is as clean as any Target and while the selection is smaller than a normal Target, it should be good enough for the casual shopper.

I like the regular updates they do on inventory, they do a good job of keeping trends moving along and giving good selections. The fresh grocery section has always left me feeling like they dont pay much mind to that section (probably because Trader Joes is next door) overall prices are OK just depends on what you are buying

I called the electronics department and the guy I talked to seemed like some 15 year old punk that had no idea what anything was, whenever I asked him about a product he just typed my exact words into the computer and told me nothing wad coming up.I mean some of the employees are nice and helpful but this punk was an idiot.

Wow! Terrible customer service. They answer the phone by saying "Hello". Asked if they could check stock because online is not accurate and they put me on hold then hang up. Management needs to have a talk with their employees about proper customer service. Will have to go to the Kansas side for decent service.

The electronics salesman was very helpful, especially when he admitted to gaps in his knowledge (instead of just BSing me). The customer service rep, too, was very courteous in doing a price match that knocked $10 off the shelf price. This is a big reason why I come to Target over their primary competitor.

Employees seemed fine but was the dirtiest Target Ive been to--clothes all over the floor in every department, hangers on the ground. Mens bathroom was just as dirty. Dont usually post reviews but hopefully higher ups will make a change. Like Target but would stay away from this one unless changes are made

These employees act like they dont care if you shop there or not. They seem distracted when checking out customers, looking around like theyd rather be paying attention to anything other than what they are doing, shouting to one another across the checkout aisles. I avoid this Target like the plague.
