NOT GOOD! I had gone into Walmart to pickup a prescription for my disabled husband who cannot speak due to his illness. 1) I got into the line and there were 3 people ahead of me. There was one young lady checking people out and 6 others in the pharmacy...one at the check in desk. It took her 45 min. to handle 4 customers. When I got to the counter to pick up his medicines...she asked me his name 3 times and his birthday 4 times. She was moving slower than a snail moves. Then she had trouble pulling the prescription. She seemed to have trouble remembering the number on the bag when she turned around. 2) They filled one of my husbands meds at no charge(which it should be ..insurance covers it) and told me the other med would be over $200. I explained that we had just transferred back to Walmart from another pharmacy and all his info should be in their system. I had to go talk to the guy at the check in counter who promptly told me his meds were not covered. I gave him the three cards (including his prescription card, which he said he did not need.) Then he said he was not covered. 3) Now I had to leave as I dont have transportation and was borrowing someones car. I was already an hour late returning the car and I made them late for work. Got home.....became more angry and called them. They told me it was covered and I could come back and pick it up. EXCUSE ME.....I WAS JUST THERE. 4) Now I have no ride and I cant leave my Husband alone to go get it. Even the drug prescription company called them. They took no responsibility for what happened. This is the clincher....I live 1.5 miles from the store. My husband was on his last dosage and needed those meds yesterday for his seizures. They dont deliver so you are just S.O.L This just taught me that Walmart pharmacy or otherwise could give a damn about a customer. My husband is over 70 yrs old....I guess they could care less that he could have a seizure and die. I still dont have a way to pick up his meds so I am crushing pills (because he cant swallow them) because he needs the liquid I was supposed to pickup. I am MAD AS HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My question: How many other people have they done this to and its just an "Oh, Well" to them. I am going to escalate this higher.....this is totally unacceptable. I absolutely hate shopping in this store. The employees act like helping you is a chore. They are rude and just dont care about the people shopping there that helps pay their salaries. I worked around people for years in a Corporate office and never once was rude or uncaring to anyone including my customers. This was the biggest "cluster" I have ever seen.

My Shopping experiences at this location and a variety of different times throughout the open hours have most often left me wondering what has happened to the levels of higher customer service across the board and in all its catagories. Example....Aknowledging every customer whether young or elder, short or tall etc. Its required of you on and off the clock, in the store or outside. Whether the employee is having a good or bad day. Id just like to see more employee interaction with the customer. At the front end of the store and in every department throughout. And dont let the customer roam aimlessly within the isles of any department with a discouraged or disgusted look on their face when they have been in search of any specific item and hadnt found it. Then having to search outside the department for help and getting an employee that doesnt work the department you need help in or no one and having to resort to looking up the stores location and phone number and call from your cell repeatedly and get no answer. yes this is worded rather lengthy but i know your understanding it in whole if youve shopped this location or experienced it at another location. I hope this gets looked into and passed onto other locations as well. Thanks again. Stay true to the company that employees you and the rest of your team of associates and youll find that in doing so its mentally self rewarding knowing youve given more than 100% to every shopper.

Came here to pick up a prescription. This was the walmart nearest to where we would be the evening I needed it. Pharmacy workers were annoying. Saw some things occur while we were waiting that I will be reporting to the state pharmacy board. Then, while checking out, it took about 15 minutes to check us out. Just like us, the two customers in front of us had less than five items. We should have been in and out of that line in about 5 minutes. Nope, the employee wanted to talk with all the other employees, complaining how she had hoped to have a particular day off and since she did not get it off, she was just going to not show up. She could not even take the time to greet or thank us for our visit, or any of the other standard customer service questions. She hardly acknowledged we were there other than to tell us how much we owed. She even got upset with another older lady in front of us who was struggling with the credit card machine. Thank goodness I will not be back at this store. The impression we walked out with was that it was dirty, poorly staffed, and staffed with rude employees.

If I could rate it a 0 I would. Today was finally the breaking point. I had 2 items and waited in line for 10 minutes. As soon as I put my stuff up to get checked out the lady shut off her light and said she was closed. I wouldnt be so mad if this was the first time it has happened to me. Everytime I go in there are 3 open lanes, 15 closed ones, and 20 minute lines. I am so sick of it. I tell people to never come to this Wal-mart because of the terrible customer service, the dirty and unorganized store, the rude employees, the wait times, the lack of room to even move, and how terrible the parking lot is. Wal-mart of Roeland Park raise your standards. You make me dread ever going to a Wal-mart again. Fire the people who are rude and unappreciative of their jobs. There are plenty of hard working Americans who would appreciate a job at this horrible establishment... It wouldnt be so horrible if I even got smiled at or talked to by at least one employee while I was there. Shut down and start over!

I came in on a Friday to fill a prescription for pain mess and they didnt recognize immediately that my doc didnt put a quantity down. it took an hour to "fill" my prescription and when they finally got around to calling the docs office, they were closed until monday. So here I am monday morning, after spending the weekend in pain. They are supposed to open at 9am and yet its now 9:15 and they are not open because the pharmacist is apparently late and they dont know when hell get here. Needless to say, while the prescription mess up isnt entirely their fault (though they shouldve caught it when I dropped it off), I will NEVER come here for prescriptions again. Hell, I just may never come to this Walmart again as there general merchandise selection is scant at best. UPDATE : It is now 9:30 and the pharmacist has arrived. Yay! UPDATE 2.0: its now 10:02 and Im finally out of the store with my prescription. all in all, a very lousy experience.
