Groceries are all over the place. Cant find a lot of things with ease. Then there arent enough checkouts open and always get stuck behind an extreme coupon clipper that nit picks everything. Heres a tip, if they have more than 3 coupons make them wait in a designated coupon line. And the real kicker is once Im done waiting 30 minutes in line, the guy at the door demands to see my receipt to make sure the pop on the bottom is purchased. Yep, still bought it. Maybe invest in better cashiers to look down. That is for your own benefit and in no way is looking out for customers. Im done being here. Youve made it unpleasant and then want to see that I bought what I already bought. Ill just order from hyvee. Less hassle. I suggest you do the same.

The customer service/returns department is always poorly run; extremely slow and the supervisor never pitches in. Never choose this Walmart to return an item. Store pick up for online orders is in the same area and just as bad. Management: I was looking to find the clearance sections for every department. I asked the young assistant manager if that aisle at the front of the non-grocery side is the only place or if each department has their own clearance. Thats the only place. All of the clearance is there, he said. I proceeded to walk around the store and find section after section in different departments. Either hes disengaged and didnt want to hassle with me or hes incompetent. Bottom line - poorly managed and staffed Walmart.

After sitting waiting for the rest of my family to check out the man at the door stopped me because I had dog food and water. Then because my wife couldnt find the receipt in her purse he makes a comment such as I guess shell be cleaning that out. He not only wasted 15 minutes of my life as well as stressed out my pregnant wife. Your employees cant even read the receipt, I had to show him what everything was on the receipt! If you have that big of an issue with people stealing dog food and water then maybe you should lock those two items in a case like everything else in your store! He never apologized for the inconvenience that he caused me and my family on a holiday weekend.

I went to look at the fish...every so glue tank had 4-5, and some even more, dead rotting fish in them. I pressed the service button to ask someone to come remove them but after waiting for 20 mins I finally went to customer service where the manager didnt look shocked or that she even cared. Ive seen a lot of wal-marriage tanks. 1 or 2 dead fish. Ya Ivan see that. But more than 30 dead fish, one tank had just fish heads and poop. Who in gods name is taking care of these animals. How did they not see floating, decayed fish bodies. The filters were completely covered in dead fish.

I have been calling to order my daughter a birthday cake a few times a day for a week now and nobody in the bakery has been answering. The people are usually pretty friendly but this isnt the first time this has happened. I call customer service and ask to talk to a manager and get put on hold just to be asked a few minutes later "ok who are you holding for?" Same person who answered. 15 minutes later "who are you holding for?" Still the same lady. Get it together Walmart. And thank you management for getting me through finally. The workers are friendly but thats ridiculous.

My mom and boyfriend both work nights at Walmart in grimes. He likes it and he started there in June 2015. They treat him very nice and respect him. He shows the same to his bosses and co-workers. He and my mom work in different departments. Jason works in grocery and my mom works cash register / apparel department. She used to be in maintaince but she switched. They both like there jobs. I love shopping there for our daughters clothes and diapers etc. My boyfriend gets a discount and it saves on a lot of our kids personal items.

Today was a very bad day at Walmart. Waiting 15 minutes with 4 other people behind me because the slow as molasses customer SVC rep & helper were half asleep at the job. Didnt bother to call for hell or open another register. Someone actually sat down on the floor. After that, 3 cashiers discussed how to get a price on an item without asking someone in that dept the price. Which took forever. Then the super gonzo greeter/talker held me up to talk about my purchases. An hour & 1/2 instead of a "quick trip" is just stupid.

I called them to see if they had a certain item in stock. The guy in electronics thought I was talking about a game or something. Then when I explained to him what I needed he immediately without thinking said "nope we dont have that" he didnt even care to look. After buying the thing I needed somewhere else, we went to Walmart and they had it. FOR $20 CHEAPER. He wasted my money. Absolutely awful. I hate shopping here. The phone wait is ridiculous and almost everybody who works there cant speak english. UNBELIEVABLE!

We frequent this store often. However, as a mother with a child who has a disability, it is highly disappointing that they do not offer the Caroline Cart to help families shop easier. Please consider getting a special needs cart. Hy-Vee and Target both supply this to their customers. You have electronic chairs for adults but offer nothing for those who have children with special needs who have outgrown or are unable to use the standard cart.

I live an hour and half away. Stopped in to buy some flowers, but left my purse with my cell phone in the cart in the parking lot. I didnt realize it until I was about an hour away. I just knew someone took it and was very upset. I turned around, drove back and of course, it was not in the cart. I went inside Walmart to discover that the guy who brings in the carts found it and turned it into Lost and Found. What integrity! Rare! :)

Wanted to buy some rockdale light beer. Shelf was empty. Asked clerk in the isle if they had any more. She said I have a whole cart in back but I think it got pulled off the shelf for some reason like a recall or something. So I went to the next nearest Walmart and they had it on the shelf and I purchased with no issue. Sounds like she was too damn lazy to just go get me a case!

Have most of what you could possible need at low prices. I usually do not shop in Walmarts. Is it normal to see this any security cameras?... OMG They made me feel uneasy as a shopper (No I am not a thief or shoplifter). What an IT network nightmare, there were at least 4 clusters observing the parking lot with 3 cameras each. Wont be returning. Back to Target I go... LOL

This place is great if you love video games. New releases or games that seem sold out everywhere are likely to be there. Probably because its a bit of a small town. Staff is usually pretty friendly, the only thing I dont like is how often they check your bag for a receipt. I know its their job, thats why I wont subtract a star, it just makes me feel uncomfortable.
