I have called six times to the tire department and nobody answers the phone, the has been ringing for 10 minutes. I went into the store and there was nobody in the tire department, I asked for a person to help me and nobody came. I have money in my pocket and I have to beg to give it to you? A lady just came on the phone as Im writing this and said they dont have anyone in that department that answers the phone! What does that mean. I still on hold or they are hiring someone to answer the phone I dont know? Should I continue to write while im on hold? The manager just came on the line and she said she is going to walk back there to see if anyone can take time to answer the phone she said to hold on some more. I type with two fingers so this has taken a very long time. I wonder if I was able to get a hold of corporate if they even care? HOLD THE WORLD STILL SOMEONE ANSWERED!!!!!!!! Ok he had no clue what a tire was, I describe the exact tire to him and after a few minutes he said he would have to order it and it will be there tomorrow around noon and he would call me. I got his name Trey but he said he was not working tomorrow and he would leave a note for someone to call me. Lets see if I come back here complaining I didnt get a call tomorrow?

Worst Walmart Ive ever been to. My friends and I were casually walking around the store killing time and a secret shopper stalked us the entire time for no reason. We gave him a friendly hello at checkout and he proceeded to tell us to get out or he would drag us out. He continued to threaten us with actions that would be considered an assault if he laid hands on us, which he threatened he would do and followed us out to the car. None of this was justified for any actions we undertook while in the store. We called management about the incident and they ignored all complaints about him. This Walmart is crooked when they let stuff like this go on without any punishment to their employees. I feel like my rights were infringed upon with no reason and there is nothing I can do about it. Will never be shopping here again and I will let everyone know what experience I had.

Disgusting. The store entrance smelled of stale alcohol and, not to sound immature, but flatulents. The staff were apathetic at best and showed no trace of thought about their personal hygene. I saw more than one checker with sweat stained clothing and dirt. Not to mention the young man who rang me up smelled as though he hadnt bathed in a week. He also barely looked up and said anything other than the total after I made my purchases. I was starred at by another taller checker who resemebled Egon from Ghostbusters. An older employee literally tugged on my shoulder and started making small talk as I was leaving the store, all fine and dandy but then he followed me to the door and started talking about his family and the issues he was having with his daughter. I simply said goodbye and left after having an awful experience at this disgusting store.

Went in about a week ago and while checking out, the cashier asked "is this WIC?" Before ringing up 3 containers of baby food! This was very disrespectful considering I had no documents in my hand to suggest I was paying with WIC and made me feel as if she were saying anyone who looks like me was a WIC recipient. As a single mom, I honestly wish I I did receive WIC but I dont. To top it off after sending in a complaint, a female manager at the store called me and made excuses of why the employee asked. She then asked for an OPI number on my receipt that I didnt have handy. Said she would have another manager call me back to get it, so that they could speak to the employee. I actually called back a few hours after her call and she was in a meeting. I have yet to hear back from a manger. I am absolutely disgusted with how this location is ran!!

Left without buying the items I went there for because of no customer service at sporting goods department. Waited for 20 mins while many workers said that it wasnt their department. Update... Just walked out again. Today being 4-23-17. Self service was closed. Only register with light on was on other side of store. Went there to find 2 employees waiting in line with no cashier at register. Got tired of waiting while another employee was just standing close to register lane just staring done the front of the store. Once more left my items on belt and walked out.

I took my new car to have my tires checked for balance and rotated. Doug did a great job. Car runs very smooth now which made my day first off. Jeff who greeted me when I arrived was very friendly. He answered all my probably silly questions without making me feel silly for asking them. I was very pleased all the way around with my experience visiting this automotive center. I am from out of town but will be returning for my basic car needs when I am in town. Thank you and great job guys. Way to treat your customers!

The only thing going for this store is that it is the only store in Indianola of its kind. If you want the stuff you can get at Wal Mart from anywhere else you have to go to Des Moines. The staff are...interesting characters who you would definetly not associate with outside of the shopping experience. They dont seem willing to help if youre looking for something and youre pretty much left on your own. If we had an alternative to this in Indianola I would definitely go there.

Sometimes hard to find wanted items, as they are out of stock or shelves are disorganized. Ive occasionally had a hard time finding carts. Checking out can also take some time due to lack of cashiers. As to pricing, this has been historically a strengh (and often still is), but I am starting to notice better prices sometimes on items elsewhere.

Went in for a simple oil change with nobody in front or behind me. It took an hour for the oil change with two guys. They didnt put a service sticker on, or reset the oil light. Along with putting 16 psi of extra air in my tires. Also didnt know how to use the register. Literally had to go around the counter and do it for him.

Worst service ever I called 6 or 7 times, and no answer each call was about 3 minutes of just ringing. Went to the store to find guitar string and no body had the slightest clue where they were but they were so sure they had them, awful I live in town and am very unimpressed and extremely dissatisfied up your game walmart

This place proves the WalMart stereotypes hardly a register open, most of the time. Most employees seem angered that they have to be there or if you ask for the location of anything. Some placement of items is questionable, but they are also constantly changing that around... (most of the time not for the better.

The store is rarely stocked with everyday products. Make sure you check the expiration dates, because I have noticed they let some products sit on the shelf weeks after it has expired. There are opened packages of food products sitting on the shelf.
