I set my eyes on a honda pilot that hatt had advertised, it was very clean nothing out of the ordinary. I get there and ask to see but it wasnt there yet, but it showed up a few minutes later(as well as the second time i saw the car i never saw the car from a cold start). Checked it over the only thing that concerned me was a slight smell of coolant, but i could find no leaks. Took it for test drive and drove great but the guy i was with (this is important for later in the story) told me that it had all new plugs and coils. Which i thought was great, also asked if i wanted a coolant flush done which i declined without me even mentioning my concern for the coolant smell. I did endup purchasing this car. So this car was from jersey and i had to get it inpected in pa, took it to my local honda dealer i have below the estimate for what it needed. Almost $2500 worth of work. Thats back in january, lets fast forward to this month of may. Wife calls me and says the cars raidtiotor broke and was steaming. When it was replaced i found someone had used that band aid fix of pouring the goop into the radiator to stop it from leaking. A week after that the car starting sputtering on the highway with the check engine light flashing and broke down. Took it to honda hoping its something simple, mechanic was shaking his head as im walking up to him. Someone botched a spark plug hole replacement in cylinder #5 they put a ford threaded insert in and the spark plug that was there was solid at the tip. All the other 5 spark plugs looked new and oem, the one in cylinder 5 was a cheap autolite. The compression for the cylinder was at 60 psi and is supposed to be 180. So the mechanic told me the engine is shot and needs a replacement. So a used high mileage engine cost around $1200 plus installation. Recon engine is probably going to be twice that. I aslo got the codes p0420 and p0430 which basically says i need new catilytic converters as well because of the cylinder failing. Now as i mentioned above about the test drive, they had to know of the problem of cylinder 5, the spark plugs were all fresh except for one which couldnt be replaced becasue an oem wouldnt fit. They also had to have known about the radiator problem as i mentioned above they asked if i wanted a flush. So as these things started happening i pieced together that they knowingly sold me a car that was going to fail. I would definetly have a appropiate service center mechanic look over thier cars if you do plan on buying one here as you dont want $7000 in repairs for your car. Im not the only to have this happen to look at the person who bought the 2008 Lexus LX570. 2005 HO PILOT 161,000 miles Lehigh Valley Honda Service Tie Rod: LEFT INNER HAS SLIGHT PLAY. This place is a hidden gem!! I walked into this dealership alone and a female the only two things they say you should never do and to my surprise I never felt like easy prey or like I was being taken advantage of; I had the pleasure of working with Joe who happened to be the manager. He answered all my questions and took the time out to deal with any concerns I had. He worked with me with the price of the vehicle until we reached an agreeable price and as Joe was writing up the bill of sale I was looking for the “hidden fees” I’ve heard so much about from my friends and family and to my surprise there were none. Honestly the only fee is the documentation for plates and registration which is only $120. You would expect that after I bought the car that would be the end of that transaction.. But he still checked up me to make sure my vehicle was still performing up to my expectations. Since this was my first car I was as a little jittery about buying a lemon and even took my car to my mechanic for him to inspect and he was actually impressed at how well the car was running. At one point the info system on the car told me that I needed an oil change only 3 weeks after buying it so I took it in and they checked the fluids and told me that there was brand new oil in the engine and that I had at least 3000 miles to go I just needed to reset my computer so it would tell me the correct time I needed an oil change. This showed me that the car was well maintinenced by Hatt auto before it was given to me. I know this is a long review but this is a great place to come if you are searching for honesty. Even a month after my purchase the day I went to get the official plates for my car I was having problems with my tires because of a mistake I had made, I asked for help and Joe personally went out in the snow to check the psi on my tires and filled them up for me at the 7/11. I don’t think most car dealership’s would go out of their way to make sure that even after your purchase that your car in still in tip top shape unless you had a warranty which I only had on the engine and transmission cause it was a used car. Everyone in the dealership is friendly and they treat you well, it was like buying a car from family member. I don’t regret my purchase I love my car and am thankful for the great experience.

In short: I give this place 5 stars because it was a completely stress free experience for us who wanted to buy a car quickly. In detail: I havent bought from an Auto Sales shop since my first car over 6 years ago because I thought they were all a rip off and that you can get a much better price with the same flaws when purchasing directly from the dealer. Thus, I was reluctant when my husband said he wanted to by a 2012 Nissan Versa from Hatt Auto Sales. Before we walked into the parking lot, we noticed the beautiful the blue Versa was with brand new wheels. However, I felt like a kid in a candy store. While walking around the lot, I wanted all the cars. They had a lot of popular cars like the Honda Fit and the Toyota Rav 4 in pretty colors; they were just so clean and well kept. What I loved more about it was that these modern cars were so affordable. Many were as low as $3,000 - $5,000. It made me feel that any car that I wanted was possible to obtain. What stood out to me more than other small businesses was that they had a mechanic shop too. That made me feel more secure because it showed that they were able to have their cars thoroughly inspected by a professional before they put the car on the market. The customer service was great and thats what makes all the difference. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. Since we already knew the car that we were interested in from an online advertisement, they did not hesitate to give us the keys for a test drive. Thanks to Joe, he made us feel like a valuable customers because he could have disregarded our concerns and waited for the next customer who also inquired about the car but he addressed it and we sealed the deal. After stating that we wanted the car, they handled the all the DMV paperwork in the office very efficiently. They even called the insurance company on the spot for us. I felt like the whole process took a very short time. They even provided me the car fax when I started to doubt that everything was too good to be true. The staff worked so well together as a family and team that I too felt like a friend of the family by then end of the purchase. I would definitely tell my family and go back again to buy myself another car from Hatt Auto Sales.
