I had bought a 2003 Ford F-250 Diesel here 5 years ago with intension on starting a business. I had bought it outright and as I was leaving it had ran out of fuel due to a bad level sensor. They sold me a 3rd party warranty and said it would be covered. Well the warranty covered the fuel pump and on these trucks the pump is not in the tank so they did not cover it, it needed front end work which the warranty wanted to replace it with used parts. The following morning when i started the truck it had a very rough idle and started to smoke but once warmed it cleared up. I had it looked at and it had bad injectors, over time that cracked a piston and I needed a new motor. now 5 years later I am on a forth motor and the entire truck had to have the suspention redone, it has been sitting for the last 2 and a half years all because the warranty that they sold me and told me would cover everything did not cover anything because it was a diesel. when I tried to get my money back for just the warranty they said they couldnt do that. This place is a scam!!! They knew the problems with the vehicle and had it already warmed up when I went to see it so I would not know about these problems. Then since they made me sign a paper saying all says are final and it was sold without a warranty from them there was nothing I could do. i am now in debt over 40k on a truck that was sold to me for 14k. used motors were 4k now i went with a new motor which was 11k not including labor, now 5 years later the problem is narrowed down to the wiring harness for the injectors. I would NOT reccomend anyone to go here or get suckered into their warranty company C.A.R.S. I am VERY upset now since I trusted them on a vehicle that I was going to make money with and now I have lost soo much that I cant afford to start a reposession company anymore

The car buying experience at Towne Auto Sales was pleasant and easy! The staff is professional and all were accommodating with meeting my needs. I highly recommend using towne auto sales for all your car buying needs. Financed a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, John the owner found the car with only 7,000 miles, its brand new, runs like new and it was in my budget! Additionally, he even put some aftermarket work into my Jeep which I had wanted done which saved me time and money from going elsewhere to do it. I will be referring this business to family and friends and will definitely be using towne auto sales again for future car purchases!

What a great experience, I was not to sure about a long distance auto purchase but the end result was more than I ever expected. The entire "crew" got involved to help me when I dropped the ball and made sure that they had no intention of closing the dealership until I was taken care of. I will be sure to buy another car from these folks in the future, they even bought my dinner! I have had the car for 6+ months now and have had no issues, If you dont want to be taken advantage of like so many other auto dealers will do this is the place to buy your next car.

Towne Auto Sales does not have business integrity. Took my deposit, then sold the vehicle. The deposit will be returned. Much time was used to set up insurance quote, find local mechanic for pre purchase inspection and car rental reservation (to pick up the vehicle from VA to NJ.) I took the transaction seriously and was treated like nothing. Be aware, consumers. The Better Business Burea (BBB) has been notified.

Dealer got back to me the next day with a counter offer on the vehicle. They seem responsive and not to mention Dave was a pleasure to speak with. They seemed like they would work with you on getting a good price. Their cool!
