This is the type of dealerships we are always warned about! "Family owned" (as their website says) is used as a sales practice because I asked to speak to the owners and even asked for the dealer license # which they refused to give me after multiple requests. After finding a car I really likes and speaking with a sales lady for 3 or 4 days, we negotiated a deal on the purchase of a used Land Cruiser and the trade in of my current FJ. Our deal included the purchase price, trade in offer and even delivery of the vehicle at a halfway point! I had everything in writing and my sales lady told me everything was approved by her manager and we would be meeting later that afternoon. In fact, it was offered to rush the financing because she wanted to sell me the car prior to my vacation (a sales practice to hurry the buyer). The only part we did not complete was financing because when I submitted my application through their website (as recommended), the 3+ hour process did not seem to end until I called them with news that I had arranged my own financing and would be essentially paying in cash. I also found a rate 3 full percentage points below their bank. AFTER telling them I would be paying for the car cash, the entire deal changed. Although I had confirmation of our deal in writing, the offer to deliver (halfway between NJ and MD) was withdrawn because the pictures I supplied previously were apparently not adequate (objection to this was never raised and their selling me their car based on pictures was apparently different when the table was turned). Even though this was part of our WRITTEN deal, and a inspection of both vehicles was discussed when we met, I was told to drive to NJ because if something were wrong, the proposed meeting would be "awkward" their manager said (as if my driving to NJ and finding something wrong with their vehicle would not be awkward)? Given my desire to purchase this hard find, I called the following week to speak with a different manager and see if a deal could be salvaged. The different manager confirmed the deliveries and trades are made frequently off site and this would not be a problem however, now the original offer for my trade would be 10% lower which is even below anything listed on Blue Book or Black Book. In my opinion, Northeast Motors is the type of place that will take advantage of any purchaser to the fullest extent. I was a willing and able buyer who did not even attempt to negotiate on the original price yet they continued attempts to take advantage of me because I was out of state. I would like to close with restating all of this changed AFTER I told them I would not be using their financing. My 2 week ordeal with this dealership ended without their honoring of a deal even though I gave them a 2nd chance with my offer to drive up there- they clearly would have always re-negotiated my trade and each maneuver they made was a stereotypical "quick/ fast sales action". Watch yourself around this company!

The Amazing Northeast Motors of South Hackensak, one of THE best experiences ever! Due to unfortunate circumstances my fiance needed a new car, now this was not in the plans, especially when planning a wedding. We have always purchased cars directly from the car dealership; ( Toyota, Lexus). He started to get a little desperate and needed something within a week. We went on line and said he wanted to try Northeast Motor Cars. We went, saw the car maybe twice , third time the car was gone, heartbroken is what we both felt. But the great gentlemen at Northeast Motor Cars of South Hackensack, guaranteed that they could get the car back within a day & work to get him at a price where he could afford. After about a day or two he was the proud owner of a Lexus ES350. We love the care and the Amazing customer service we received on all levels. The pricing so we wouldnt break the bank, which again was unexpected, getting the car back in a timely manner & fixed; (they know what I mean), the superb condition of the car, and the respect and professionalism that was shown with everyone we came in contract with, late nights. I can go on for days, because there is more, but go see for yourself. Ill be there to get my next vehicle for sure REMEMBER ME IN ABOUT A YEARS GUYS!!! Thanks again, the Happy Couple Terrill W. & Trina C. ***FYI he picks his plates & REG. up in a week***

Dishonest people. When I called the first time to inquire about the vehicle I spoke to Amaril and asked her three questions. Is the car still available, has it been service and is there any pre existing issue with the BMW. She responded that the car has been service and it ready to leave the shop to have no issues for years to come. That same day I visit Northeast Auto and Bought a 2014 BMW with check engine light on and bad strut. They said they would fix it and never did. I had to spent $2000 within a week of buying the car to fix the bad strut and the check engine light to pass inspection in my state. Jim the salesman told they would reimburse me and that was a lie. Spoke to Len Brown (financial manager)for weeks to no avail. He Always had to talk to someone else. Also to Johnny (floor manager) he didnt care about my issue. He said since I live in Pennsylvania that was my problem. Also spoke to Paul (general manager) also the same thing. He always need to take to someone higher. Beware if you are looking to buy a vehicle there. Honestly I would pick someplace else where the customer service is better. They people just want the money and thats all. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Horrible service!! I purchased my vehicle 9 weeks ago and just received my plates today. The temporary plates they issued were only valid for 3 weeks! Meaning the last 6 weeks Ive been forced to drive with expired plates. Due to a combined IQ of 140 of their entire team they encounter issue after issue (supposedly). I opened the FedEx envelope and just when I thought they couldnt get any worse... I find they registered my vehicle in the wrong state. Seriously! Im living in California and now I have Empire State plates! No one can be this absentminded! Ive been jerked around so many times Ive filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Read the numerous complaints on the BBB website! My issue is not the first. You would think that the finance guy, with his 4 computer computer screens on his desk would be more efficient in his work... Not the case. Hes going to screw you up if you put any level of faith in him. I would never recommend purchasing a vehicle from these guys.

To Whom this concerns, I purchased a 2011 Mercedes E63 about 3 weeks ago if not longer. I have yet to receive my plates and registration for the State I live in. I have tried calling numerous times, and keep getting told it takes time. Now, I finally hear that I needed to get my vehicle VIN Verification in order to process the registration. I took time off of work to do this, sent the e-mail in to the designated e-mail address and no response. Every time I call, I keep getting told the representative will be in an hour later. My temporary registration & plate is now Expired as of today. This cannot be legal for a dealer to do, nor is it morally correct. I would expect an e-mail or phone call very shortly to tell me what is going to happen. Horrible experience.
