Contacted this dealership regarding their 2009 bmw x5 4.8i. Asked the condition the vehicle was in and if anything was wrong. Then i specified, if shocks were ok, oil leaks, coolant leaks, transmission shifting great. Individual claiming to be the owner "Sam" indicated that the car is perfect, except minor scratches on the bumper. Since I was shipping this car to Iowa, I wanted to confirm that the vehicle was mechanically sound. Sam Reassured me. Received the vehicle via shipping company and it was laying on the ground. Started the vehicle and the compressor that controls the shocks sounded like a jack hammer. It would not raise the car. 15 min later, the vehicle somewhat came up. Since it was 10pm CST, I decided to call them tomorrow. The next day, i found a coolant puddle of about 16x16 inches on my floor along with a oil leak. Contacted "Sam" and he said everything was excellent when vehicle left. I told him that the mileage is the same and no way could have broken during transit. He may want to try to sell that story to someone else. After further investigation, the air shocks ($220 each) were gone on it, the air shock pump was gone ($1400) on it, the coolant hose was leaking ($90) and so was the oil filter housing ($30). A total of $1960.00 excluding any labor. "Sam" refused to answer any of my calls any longer even after i told him to refund me $500 at least and ill take care of the rest. He had someone else call me by the name of "Tom", and this person was clueless. He said that they were not making any money on that car and thats the reason they did it. If this is how you do business, great. Unfortunately for them, they sold the car to me in my residing state of Iowa. So litigation is on the way and i guarantee it, the flight alone will cost them more than i asked for ($500). Obviously these guys are clueless that due to personal safety of the vehicle, that they are unable to sell the vehicle in that condition without disclosures. Especially lying on the phone that it had NO mechanical problems at all. Department of Transportation (DOT) will have fun with this case as well. If i was you, i would stay away from this place for sure.

My son originally went here to check out an Audi and test drive it. He did not like it and saw an Infiniti that he wanted to test drive. He was told that they had to run his credit to make sure he qualified for the car. My son told him that it is not a requirement to run credit to test drive and he had his license and that that was enough. He test drove the car and decided it was one of the contenders he was interested in and would be back. The next day he went back to drive it again. He told them that he would be back that night for the transaction and to finish up. We went back that evening. I have been in financing for 18yrs and bought all of my cars from new car dealers so I was very un-trusting when it comes to used car dealerships. Immediately I handed my business card to Mark and introduced myself. We chatted about business for a few minutes and then i told him i wanted to check out the car. The car needed 4 tires and the oil was dirty. The interior/exterior was clean as was the trunk. I told Mark that the front driver side tire has a bubble and the other tires are bald that i would need them all replaced and an oil change. He assured me it would be done by the time we picked up the car. Today I went back to finish the deal. As promised the tires were changed as was the oil. The financing was easy breezy and we were treated with respect. We were given a 90 day warranty. Mark and Steve were very accommodating and after finding out that i too was in finance it felt as if Mark and had know each other for years. I will definitely refer business to Imports Auto Sales Inc. I would have given them 5 stars if they had ran the car through the car wash and put more than 1/4 tank of gas. I will report more should anything change. On the whole we were satisfied.

I was coming back from a business trip in NY, had been shopping for another SUV & saw a 2008 Chrysler Aspen here, so I stopped in. The staff was patient & accommodating as I inspected it before purchasing it. They also made a very good effort to answer my questions & try to resolve some deficiencies I discovered during my inspection. Based on what I found during my inspection, I was allowed a lower price than what they were asking. Within the next 24 hours after purchasing it, some other issues showed up that I felt should have been discovered prior to putting the car up for sale. I dont think they were trying to hide anything but felt the seller pre-sale inspection should have been more thorough & the issues on this one slipped by. I contacted them & we worked out an additional discount on the vehicle. Overall, there were a few quirks with the vehicle but it seems to be working out OK & I think I got a good value. The take away from this experience is it is a used vehicle & you need to take your time & be very thorough checking out your potential purchase. Get as much information about it as you can. In the next few years when I look for another car, I will probably consider another purchase from Imports.

I will never recommend buying a car from imports Auto Sales in NJ everything about my experience was bad I brought a car from them Ive had it for 3 months Ive already had to put 2000 dollars into the car when I brought the car it had another oil leak i brought it to them to fix it 3 times which they never didnt they told me I was lying about the oil leak when I had to add oil in there every week I had to change the battery after I had the car for a month, I also had to replace the front left brake caliper, I had to replace coolant hoses, I had to change one coil and all 6 sparkplugs if your looking for a car that you have to fix after every time you drive then this will be a good place to go ooo yea I forgot to mention I also had to change the starter which was 575 and and about 2 months after that the transmission needed to be rebuilt thats another 4500 dollars so I will let you guys do the math u have a car that u had less than a year and you pay over 7000 dollars in repairs (sounds like a scam in my opinion) what do you guys think

They should close & cease operation. I just called about an LR2. First no one was there at 10:10am, although their opening time is listed as 10am. So I called back at 10:30am & clearly caught a "salesman" unprepared. I had to force him to tell me about the vehicle after I told him I lived some 175 miles away but was seriously interested. In the pictures on their website, the vehicle clearly needs at least 2 new tires. But I was still ready to make a deal that benefitted both parties. Instead of taking me seriously, the "salesman" said "Im not going to make you any promises... ". Promises on what? Im trying to purchase the vehicle over the phone!!! Make the sale moron! Take every call & walk in seriously import auto. You shouldnt have to force someone to sell you a car at an auto dealership. Makes no sense. But oh well, its their loss. Dont waste your time. There are plenty of larger more reputable dealerships not far from this bootleg place.
