pathetic... nough said.. I recently had a very bad experience resolving an issue at one of the retail store located at: 905 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO 64111. I made a purchase of an Aux cable in the amount of $7.57 on 12/7/2014 with one of my credit card. I wished to return the item but unfortunately, lost the card and the card was reported lost/stolen. I went back to the store to return the item with the new credit card, which my bank assured should work in order to obtain item return transaction. However, the store representative was just rude and denied handling the transaction and snapped on my face that she cannot do anything. She went to talk to her manager (or at least pretended as he was out for lunch) and came back in a minute or so saying the manager denied to handle the transaction either. I understand that the store policy does not state anywhere that the same card must be presented in order to receive refunds for a returned item. I tried to understand the situation and while other sales person was ready to help me out with possible remedies, she kept on condescending her and tried to convince me that there’s no way I can return my item and I will have to just keep it without any choice. I wished to get a store credit or an exchange for another item and she rudely told me that nothing can be done. When I said that I have done it in the past, where my card was lost and I have returned goods with such possible options, she humiliated me by saying that now I see a pattern that you have a habit of doing this on multiple occasions. I request you to further look into this matter and see if there’s any way we can resolve this issue. I am also complaining against that lady that she has no right to humiliate me in a way to question my character.

Absolutely horrible customer service. And complete unprofessionalism. There was a sign on the door that said "will be back in 15 minutes", but the door was left unlocked and the store open with only a Sprint employee inside who, refused to check us out or help even though he was completely unoccupied and sitting with his phone in the corner. Waited for over 25 minutes with no sign of any employee. Then was treated aggressively by the sprint rep when I walked around and knocked on the back door to look for an employee to help us. Its no wonder steve stores are shutting down all over the nation.

Staff was arguing when I walked in about whos lunch it is. After that altercation was over, the item I wanted was "on sale" but apparently it was already over, even though the tag was up and the listed sale price was still up. The staff refused to give me the listed sale price and just removed and crumbled up the sale tag, as if I didnt see her do that. Overall, this location has horrible customer service and most importantly, incredibly incompetent staff that have no clue about the idea that the customer comes first. They certainly lost this one.

Excellent guys working there. The manager, Omar, he is great at what he does. I left feeling excited about my purchase, which I usually dont get at big box stores such as Best Buy and Wal-Mart. I would recommend any one looking for advice about electronics to go there. Plus, cheapest deals on cell-phones!

Associate told me "good luck" with finding a USB Mini cable anywhere else. Theirs was ~$22.00. Found one for $6 at Microcenter.
