Made an appointment almost a week in advance to have my dog clipped/groomed. We took him in on a Friday at 2:45 and was told hed be ready in 3 hours. We showed up almost three hours later to follow up and the girl at the counter at the grooming department was extremely rude and made excuses about them being understaffed. She told us itd be a few more hours. Finally at around 7 they called us to let us know our dog was ready. When we got there, we received the invoice and our dog hadnt even been clipped. The invoice showed that hed been bathed. Which wasnt even the service wed taken him in for in the first place. We spoke to the manager on duty Melissa who also kept making excuses about them being short staffed. Which being short staffed has absolutely NOTHING to do with what happened in the first place. Had the job been done correctly in the first place we wouldnt have minded waiting a little longer than normal. Its just the fact we were kept waiting a few hours longer than normal only to find out the job hadnt even been done. Take your pets to the Snooty Poodle instead...

Ive never been refused to sail before I went and talking to this girl and fish named Rachel and was wanting to buy a certain type of algae eater to put in my tank we have for tanks at home this kind of algae eater is 8 years old that I have at home and he was in a 55 gallon for three years and then we put them in a 10 gallon for two years and he is loving it and he is just fine and healthy I come to get two more algae eaters just like him today to put in my other tanks and the girl refused my sale because she wanted my fish to go in a 55 gallon and better if my fish outgrows the tank it and I will buy a bigger tank the right now the algae eater its small and I have plenty of room for him and I think its none of her business if Im paying for it and its what I want she refused my cell and so now I refuse to go back to PetSmart I will take my business Elsewhere for now on we have never had any issues with PetSmart everybodys always been so helpful and friendly until today!!!

First time trying to get our cat groomed here and it was a terrible experience. 1st we had to tell the person over the phone 5 times that she was a cat and not a dog. 2nd when we took her in they said that the person that we were scheduled under was a dog groomer but used to be a cat groomer. She quickly refused to take our cat. 3rd we tried to reschedule for Friday and the cat groomer that was already there complained about how she already had 3 cats that day. Really only 3 cats. They then tried to push it to Monday and we just said well find someone else and left. Dont take your pet here. The staff is rude and lazy.

Called first to see if I could bring in my pooch, lady was very nice on the phone. Once I got there, some rude female was working on a poor little puppy, yelling at it, and being mean. When I started talking to her, she presented a front that made it sound like she didnt have time for me. After seeing how she was treating the current puppy she was working on, i decided to leave. The "stylist" was rude and unfriendly towards the puppy and me... I dont have time for that kind of crap. They just lost a long time customer! (this was in Lake Jackson)

The Lake Jackson, Tx location beats its neighbouring competitor Petco in cleanliness, odor free environment, way more attentive & friendlier staff. Id give this establishment (5) stars if not for their fewer sales, discounts & rarely if any coupons that one has to hunt online or through numerous apps just to save a bit for better service @ my pets favorite place to shop where he ALWAYS feels welcomed no matter how excited, loud & rowdy he can get from seeing other big dogs such as himself

I love this place for 2 reasons - there is always someone around to help and there is always someone at the checkout stand when youre ready to leave. Plenty of employees. I just wish that there were coupons given at checkout for your next visit like another place does. I havent used it but they offer pet grooming as well.

Witnessed a groomer acting angrily towards a dog he was working with. He was talking meanly to the dog and jerking it around so it would be still. Have never had a real problem in the past, but will not be bringing my dog back here based on that experience alone.

I wont get my Pomeranian groomed here anymore.I witnessed groomers leaving dogs tied to the table and left alone way too long. One dog fell off the table and some of the groomers are too rough and impatient. The rest of the store is great and friendly staff.
