Let me start with I love Petsmart! But I wont ever go to the grooming there again! Ive been taking my dog there for years and have also had a good experience. She is a tiny Yorkie 6lbs so they always tell me to give it 3-4 hours but would end up calling 1-1 1/2 later due to my dog being so tiny and easy to groom. But over the last year this woman Meg would make my dog stay the full 3-4 hours even though she was done. My daughter was in Petsmart shopping and seen our dog was just getting finished and they brought her to the back. She went in there to pick her up and Meg chewed my daughter out telling her the dog wont be done for the full 3-4 hours. This is after she already seen our dog was done. She told her well the dog is done being groomed I seen she was done and Meg snapped at her and said we have to bath her yet. Which we know they always bath them before grooming. So the next Time I made the appointment online the start time was 9am and end time was 12pm. While dropping her off I was told 3-4 hours and theyd call when she was done. They were incredibly rude at this point. So we left the dog at 9 did some errands and returned to Petsmart to do some shopping before our dog was done. We got there at 10:45 and our dog was just finishing up. So we did our shopping then paid. At this time it was 11:05 they just brought our dog into the back completely finished. We went in there and Meg was like shes not done yet. I said I just seen her and she said well shes not done. She wont be done till 2Pm. I said till 2! She said well at least till 1pm. So I said Ill check back in and Meg said Shirley will call you as soon as she is done. So I said ok and left even though I knew she was done. By this time its 11:15 so we left went to a store nearby and just happen to check my email and I received an email from Petsmart at 11:25 saying my dog is done. Seriously? Somebody is enjoy their power as a groomer to hold your dog and not let it leave! So I went in there ask for my dog and said I didnt get a phone call and they said they didnt get to it. During this Im watching Meg be incredibly rough with a dog. She was getting upset. They told me to pay for the groom at the front And comeback for my dog. I said no go get my dog and Im talking to the manager. Took for ever for Shirley to come back from getting my dog. I spoke with the manger and she waived my fee. The next two days my dog had severe diarrhea and was shook up. So who knows what they did to her. I wont be returning

Always nice staff and clean. I need to make a trip once a month to purchase food for my Fur-Kiddos. If you have the time take the moment to join the PetSmart Reward Perks . It takes only a minute to do and you will save several $$ off of regular priced items. Also not only do I save on the top while using the program but after you pay look at your receipt as you will probably see that you can save $5, $10 off your next purchase. Example whereas I will Purchase two bags of Purina Pro Dog food , 37lb @ $38.00 / $41.00 a bag without the PetSmart Perks . Im saving $3 a bag or $6.00 when buying 2 Bags and on my receipt I get another save $5.00 off on next purchase. Its also a Pet Friendly place to bring your pet. In my case my Boxer or my Pit bull. Its nice being able to shop for new collars and harnesses and getting the exact fit and size! Ive purchased from other stores in past where the size of product was not accurate. 5 trips later with Returns and Re-Purchase add up the time wasted , Gas gone @ over $5.00 a gallon at that time driving a Chevy Silverado 455 Big Block @ 7 miles to the gallon. Do the math!!!! ***Been shopping PetSmart for over 9 years now, using PetSmart Rewards Program . ***Note.... I do Purchase my Cat food @ Sams Club. Its the same Brand and almost double the size for less $$$$ . Just saying!

My last experience there was not pleasant. I am a very good customer and spend several hundred dollars a month there. We were in to purchase some potty pads that were being offered at a great discount. Typically they are 79.99 a box and were on sale for 29.99. The sign in front of them stated buy one get 1/2 price. I had done so I couple days prior with no problem but this time the manager ( I think,RENEE )was trying to charge me half-price on the original price only. When we explained we had done it the day before this way, and that was the way the sign stated .She was very snotty and rude. Like she was doing us a favor to honor it. Be careful how you treat people. You never know what they are going through. I am currently dealing with my beloved Chihuahua who is dying of liver cancer and cant control her bowels. There is a reason that I need to take advantage of sales such as this. I was polite and was not being difficult by any means. The managers aesthetic was very entitled and mean.

Went in it took forever for a worker to help when I finally found someone she said shed be right with me and 20min later NOTHING she said she forgot I bought my things and realized they charged me double the price I went back in to speak to the cashier and she was so RUDE! She went on to tell me that Im wrong and tried to explain how but she wasnt making any sense and she made it very clear she was off in 5 minute. she said there was nothing they could do. I wouldnt rest there because of how disrespectful she was so I went out to the parking lot to call a manager and she fixed the problem and apologized. A trip that was only supposed to take 15 minutes took about an hour and a half . Not worth it..

Do not be late for a grooming at the Waite Park Location! I was 28 minutes late for a grooming appointment. The Petsmart Grooming Receptionist told me, with attitude, that I missed my Monday 8AM gromming appointment by 28 minutes. SO...I would have to reschedule for another day. I was also told, no exceptions or accommodations could or would be made. Over the years we have used Petsmart Grooming and have been happy with the service. All it took was one employee, with no customer service skills, to change my perspective. We will not be back.

I had some questions about fish and Renee was rude and short with me. I asked another employee to help me but she didnt know so she called over Renee (not knowing I had already talked to her) she gave me a very vague answer and walked away before I could even say anything. A customer then helped me and answered my question. While this was happening Renee was bossing around employees in a very unprofessional and rude tone. Poor customer service always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
