The big positive about this pet store is that its close to home and the prices are very fair which makes it a convenient place to pick up feeders./random supplies. My biggest complaint is that the owner is very unfriendly and rude. At first I wondered if it was because I had been window shopping but even after spending hundreds of dollars on supplies and animals the attitude never changed. Also my brother purchased a snake from his store that had mites. The owner didnt let him return the snake or exchange it for another one but did offer to treat the snake over night. After the mites continued to be a problem he sent the snake home with a some treatment container threatening him about returning it. Poorly handled and bad customer service. If you want to give this place a chance Id encourage you to stop by. Its nice to see a family owned pet store still existing and hopefully the owner treats other customers better than I have been treated so he can continue to compete with the chains.

Been going here for a very long time for getting feeder mice for our adult california king snake, and the owner now knows us when we walk in. Great selection of everything, and really good prices. My husband bought me a baby california king from here, and he was fantastic, but sadly he escaped from the cage because I had failed to secure it correctly. But the snake itself was in great condition, and very friendly. Definitely will be buying pets from him again. I also shop here for feeder mice (hoppers) for my baby ball python, and even though its quite a drive seeing as we live in houston, its still worth it to get the great price and service we get here. They have recently been renovating the store and adding more pets, and I am really excited to see it when its all done. 7 out of 5 stars for this place ;) they go above and beyond all my expectations for a family owned pet store.

I moved to Katy in June so I needed to find a new pet store to buy feeder rats for my ball python. I was happy to find that this store was located down the street from me. The gentleman that was there the first time I went was very friendly and I was very happy when I was rung up for $2.58...considering the place I had gone to in Spring charged me $4 a rat, I was very pleased and decided they had me as a new customer. Imagine my surprise 3 weeks later when I go back & ask for the same size rat and a different man tells me that it was $6.50. WTF? Im not even keeping it for a pet, its food. I told him what I was charged before and he told me that he has people that sub for him & didnt know the right price. Needless to say I didnt go back and had to find another store that only charges me $3.50.

They keep getting me to want to come back, the drive for me is a little distant but I found a dog food brand I cant get anywhere closer and has been the best for my dogs. But even if I could go somewhere closer, Id probably still give them my business because you cant beat their customer service. Someone always greets you and offers to help with anything when youre there. But not in a pushy way, if you say "no"" they leave you alone :) If they arent busy, they offer to carry my 40lb dog food to the counter and to my car. They have also been able to answer my questions and take their time explaining. Its not just one or two staff members, its been everyone.

I have been coming here for dog food for the longest time and I spend about $100 every time I come because we have 4 dogs. I came last week and the woman on duty was in a personal call in the back. I waited patiently for her to finish but she kept peeking at me through the tanks and just watched me standing there. She didnt put her finger up to let me know 1 minute or anything. She just watched me standing at the counter for 2 minutes and continued on her phone call laughing. That was the worst service I have had. I found another store called Patsys pets which has 100% better service.

My bloodhound had been having very severe skin problems for many months. I had spent thousands at the vet with no luck and was told it could possibly be his diet. My friend told me about Everything Pet and high-quality food they sold. I stopped in and the owner was extremely helpful and immediately knew the problem had to be his diet. I had been feeding my dog Sciene Diet which is made with lots of grains. We switched to the Grain-free food Taste of the Wild and after two months, Duke looks and acts like a different dog. I am grateful to have been given this wonderful advice!

I first went to the store they had just opened and Nathan was absolutely fantastic. Long story short, I went in over the weekend with my son for a harness and to ask some questions about behaviors and GI issues going on with my pooch, Pepe, and they recommended Evo dog food and told me a bit about the brand I had been feeding Pep. They are very helpful, knowledgable and local. Its great to see a needed business in the area. Now if we could get an old fashioned fish/meat market so wed have more to chose from that whatever that is that Kroger gets, wed almost be set.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a *pet* store open up in the strip center across from my subdivision instead of another nail salon. I stopped in to check it out and liked what I saw. The store had just opened for business, so the owner was still stocking it and figuring out what goes where. However, I have a special type of dog food that he carried the kibble version of, but not the canned that my dog likes. He promptly ordered it and called me when it came in. This saves me a long drive to the other side of Katy to buy it from another specialty pet store. Love that.

Weve been coming here since 2009/2010! Always great service. Bought two of our Sulcata tortoises from them. Bought countless bags of dog food! Our Boxers have allergies and they were always willing to work with us, give us their input, etc. We really listen to any advice we have been given from the owner. Other pet stores are very CLOSE to us, but have AWFUL customer service. We drive over 30 minutes (mainly traffic) just to come here because of the service. Customer service is everything! We also love the new store layout!

Everything Pet is the kind of store that works closely with the local community to make sure that the animals are taken care of. Nathan has some excellent ethics for being a small business owner...which is not easy to do sometimes. If you are a member of the community and are doing well, make sure to take care of your local pet store!!! Everything Pet is a fantastic place that we want to see grow and have around for a long time. (And by the way, Im not affiliated with them, but I go there often!).
