Dont go to the grooming department. I was 15 minutes early taking my dog this morning and got serious attitude from the groomer for being early. I thought maybe they did not have a create to keep him in. Nope that was not the issue. I should NOT have left him but I did. I was told he would be ready in 3 hours. I come back 3 hours later. I was told they were not finished with him. I asked how much longer. I was told well...i have a basset hound I have to check oh and a German shepherd to bath. My dog had been bathed and some of his hair cut. I said bring him to me. I had a bag full of food I left it on the counter and took my pet.

If you have ANY questions about fish/tanks/water ask for Rick. he knows ALL! Also my husband and I had a question about dog food and a young man named John was able to provide us with all the knowledge we were looking for regarding dog food. We actually upgraded to a much better food for our Border Collie for the same price as the previous food we used to buy. The only downfall is sometimes it takes a while to be checked out at the register. Perhaps they are understaffed. overall, great experience and we keep going back.

Typical pet supply store. I have no complaints and I have no highlights. Ive shopped here for odds and ends, Ive never seen any animal neglect here or had a bad customer experience. I do most of my pet supply shipping online because the prices are often much better. I usually find myself here so my kids can look at all the pets and pick out a special treat for our pets themselves. They have a wide selection and keep things clean. Best of all, it doesnt smell like a pet store.

I had a 7 am appointment to get my dog groomed, they asked for me to bring proof of last rabies shot, I brought documents and because the document was hand written and also signed by Vet they would not accept my dog here. I asked if we can at least keep my dog in the cage until 8am that vet ofc opens so we or they can call my vet office to verify paperwork they simply denied me and said they could not help...... this made no sense to me.

I took my 2 dogs to have there nails trimmed and we were treated excellent and the staff did an amazing job with them. The dogs usually dont like other people (yes they are spoiled) but they did very very well with the staff. I will be bringing them back there. My vet charges $9 for a nail trim and they were $10 and both jobs were the same. I look forward to bringing my animals back there.

Good luck getting anybody to help you. My daughter and I came this morning so she could get some fish for her birthday. After standing around looking for probably 10 minutes, I finally asked someone if anyone could help us with fish. She had someone up front call out over the speaker. Another 10 minutes and not one word from anybody. My 3 year old had to leave with no fish for her birthday.

I come here to get our dog food. Ive always had a good experience. The employees seem nice and friendly. Ive watched the groomers a few times just to see how they handle the dogs and they seem to do a good job although I have never personally used them so I can not say for sure. Prices are a little high but so is every other store. Get a Petco card and you can save a few dollars.

Went to the store yesterday 9/10/15. There was ONE employee at the store. ONE. His name was german and he made no eye contact. Would not acknowledge your presence, would not do anything. Just walk around. Get your act together petco. And please hire more people not just idiots.

Petco accepts Android Pay, which is a plus. They have a pretty good aquarium section however the freshwater fish selection isnt as varied as the Petsmart in Wylie nearby. A few times a year they do $1/gallon sales on tanks which is a great way to get into the hobby.

The manager the sales associate and the groomer couldnt have been more helpful they answered all my questions and even sum I didnt think of they were awesome !! I wish more companies would be interested in giving the customer service that the petco staff showed me

Higher prices, has a bigger selection of fish decorations. Employees lied about water test, saying it was uninhabitable, to not have to sell fish. Went to Petsmart with the same water they said the water was fine for being a new tank.

I bring my pet Angel here to get her food and toys. She thinks its an adventure everytime and the staff is friendly and great to me as well. I will always come to this great pet supply store around the corner from my house. Thanks

I was going there to purchase crickets for my pet gecko. I had a little trouble finding the crickets. I would think to check by the reptile section for them, but they were by the fish section in the middle of the store.

We take our dogs to the grooming salon, and they do a good job. We also buy our dog and cat food and treats here, but we buy pet supplies at discount chain stores because the prices at Petco are much higher.

Its all about the animals...obedience lessons, for new dog owners, all kinds from fish to ferrets, birds. Its a great place for kids, teaches then responsibilities, love the cats.
