I have a Toro motor that was purchased (brand new) @ Conns, along with a 2-year service agreement. Conns no long sells lawn equipment, therefore no longer repairs it (if they ever could). I would pass Wiseman Hardware if I was in its area, and often wanted to go in for that "down-home" hardware store feeling. Well, Im glad I finally did: Wiseman fixed the problem very inexpensively. Just for a Mayberry R.F.D. feel, I returned to pick up some items I could have easily gotten @ Wally, Depot, or even Dollar. I will not say I was treated "rudely", but I was followed & watched like I was in a Chinese-owned store! Do I fault them: yes and no considering the area they are in...no wait: theres nothing wrong with the area - lets just chalk it up to some past events they may have encountered & stereotypicalities being as they are...funny thing is that I made a suggestion for a product that another customer came in for that they were not even aware of for being a resolve. One will not be pleased as the next person, but despite this: I will happily return IF I can get there on weekdays before they close for the day - hours of operation SUCKS!!! ...understandable of the above.

I have made several large purchases and have had repairs performed here. On July 1 I called seeking the procedure for lawn mower blade replacement. I was transferred to the repair department and the man I spoke with looked up the pn, found the blade in stock and told me the cost. I asked about installation and he said he would gladly fit the part while I waited. I loaded the machine up drove to the store and spoke with the man in repair. I explained that I was told they could fit the part whilst I waited, he told me that I should talk to the guy who said he would do it because he would not. I bought the blade and took it home and replaced it myself, it took 5 minutes. Had this store had a consistent policy stating the mower had to be left I would have given over and picked up the part without the strain of loading the mower. I found this employee rude and not good for this independent dealer. I try to support the individual business man versus a chain hardware store, feeling the service would be better. The jury is out as to whether I will make another lawn w=equipment purchase form this store again.

Compre un weedeater tenia un año de garantia 2 messes despues lo traje para cambiar porque se me apagaba mucho ellos querian que lo llebe all mechanico de ellos si uno compra una cosa nueva es para no batallar y andar en taller a taller batallando y perdiendo tiempo y no tienen respecto a los clientes cuando me puse a discutir me estava amenasando que me iba a char la policia si no me salia.

Their service is horrible. I own a tree service company and took two pole-saws to them for repair. They had them for two weeks before they called and said I would have to pay them $150 just to inspect the machines and replace a functional part which I didnt want replaced. Then, I brought a machine to them which was still under warranty and I asked them to replace it. They refused and said they needed to inspect the machine to determine the cause of the damage. As I walked out the owner was mocking me. I will never do business with this place again.

Employees are horrible no respect for the customers we paid 440 for a brand new weed whacker and support it had 1 year warranty in 2 months it turned off by itself when I used it and know they wont exchange it also worst employee is the owner with no respect

Dude in the back went out his way to help get me back rollin. Danny actually came out from the back to my trailer and helped me out and fixed my zero turn.. i know I was an inconvenience but Dude really treated me good and helped with every issue. Respect

Beware of the sign you will be shown if you do not to get repairs done after your NOT FREE QUOTE. 30 dollars for evaluation. I would not mind paying if I had a choice of knowing this information in advance. They will not tell you verbally!
