Update: Carlton, the Manager called me on Tuesday afternnon and offered to overnight all of my mail at his expense to an address of my choice within the continental US. The billing issues were addressed and it turned out that I was right. He was very professional and promptly met all of my expectaitions. After talking with Carlton, I would highly reccomend this store and its services to anyone needing a mail collection point and a forwarding service. I am therefore changing my rating to 5 stars. The following is my orignial post which was written before I was contacted by Carlton. It appears in its entirety within the quotation marks: " I travel a lot. I am in town but about once every 2 or 3 months. I maintain a box at the UPS Store located at 1108 Lavaca, Austin, Texas 79701. I went in to pick up my mail on Memorial day and alas, they were closed and my mail was not in my box. I pay by the quarter. There was a note saying that I had not paid my bill. A review of my bank statements indicated otherwise. In fact, they were paid 10 days early (April 1st it was due on april 10th). They had better have my mail and had better forward it to me at the address that I specify free of charge. Otherwise, I am going to raise some cain." I am now satisfied with the service and want to thank Carlton for promptly handling the matter in an efficient and professional manner, Thank you (the readers) for reading this entire post.

UPS Franchisee that seems to forget theyre part of the UPS delivery Chain - Wanted $5 to utilize UPS MyChoice (which automatically diverts packages to a location of your choice for free). The problem here is this Franchisee doesnt make a dime on MyChoice and will attempt to hold your package hostage and extort $5. There IS a service many store offer where you dont need a mailbox, but can register, and have stuff shipped to their store at $5 a box. My stuff was sent to my home, and MyChoice automatically diverts it to a UPS Store. The guy working there essentially claimed the owners wants to discourage that. Shady. Beware.
