I recently had Elfa shelving installed for a very small bedroom closet. The Container Store staff were all friendly, helpful, and professional. The installation increased my closet capacity a good bit and is very attractive. I had one small problem with the measurements on a couple of the smaller decorative pieces, which I didnt really need, and had some extra screws and bolts left over, and the Container Store let me return these items after the 90-day period for returns and gave me a store credit. If you buy Elfa during the 30-percent-off sale, it is much more economical. However, I would not recommend installing it yourself and I think the Container Store installation fee is high for a small closet. I had a professional carpenter do it for a very reasonable price.

My wallet begs me to stay out of this store, but my closet and cabinets say "Go, go!" Its not that the stuff is expensive. Most of what I buy is well under $10 per item, and most of those are under $5. Its that there is just so much I want! I love organizing my stuff, so all the little boxes and dividers and jars and other comtainers are impossible to resist. Go here if you need gift boxes of almost any size, moving supplies for fragile or odd sized items, kitchen organiztion, office organization and of course, closet organization. It is addictive, and the stuff is made super-well

Great store. Just moved into a house where the previous owners had Elfa Shelves. They took the shelves with them but left the top tracks, so we went to the Container Store to replace the shelves. The staff is friendly and eager to help design your closet. They have a great software tool that helps optimize your space and put together your order. Its pretty expensive, but you get a great closet with lots of flexibility even after its installed, and its likely still cheaper than a custom closet.

Incredible place - I feel dizzy just walking in and seeing all the possibilities and assortments of items. I can always find what Im looking for if I have something specific in mind, and it is always fun to shop around while there and get creative with storage solutions. Their semi-annual Elfa sale has been a God-send for my niece - she redid both of her girls bedroom closets.

I remember as a kid LOVING the container store. So many fun and colorful things - it made me actually want to clean my room! However, now that I pay my own bills I realize that this place is way overpriced. You can get all of the items there off of amazon or at other stores for half the price. I am disappointed to squash the organizational dreams of the child I once was...

Container Store has a very wide selection of things you can put other things in, for home, work, school, travel, and other uses not yet thought of. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. Its in a large strip center with plenty of parking -- the shady spots are by the blue Thunderbird, which seems to belong to someone who works there.

For the first time an employee informed me of all the questions about the Elfa unit that hangs over the door I enjoyed the experience of Karen on Sunday night even though the store was closing she spent the time to show me how everything works she was super helpful. I enjoy shopping at stores where people know there products.

lost me as a customer today. normally a polite staff but today the white bald guy and the smarmy latino on the registers crashed the container store experience. this should not be encountered at a high priced venue. everything sold there can be found online. after many years a customer i say so long and sayonara.

I would also like to add, to previous reviews, that this location has excellent customer service. I am a lover of ELFA and have it in my garage, my office, and my pantry! Anytime you need to expand or design an ELFA solution - they are there to help! Thanks Austin Container Store for great service!

The Container Store is a great place if youre ever looking for anything to store stuff in weird things like cleaners for your kitchen, or your closet, or just general household items. However, dont expect to get away cheap because their prices are higher then most places.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Store is generally well stocked. Container Stores are generally overpriced, but thats the price you pay to have a good selection that you can see and touch and/or get organization ideas. 90 day return period is very nice too.

There are some clever storage ideas but the prices are sky-high, often 3-5 times what the product should really cost. The staff seem to know where everything is and the checkout could use more staff during the weekends.

HEAVEN!! If you need a unique or a basic storage solution, then The Container Store is the place! They are reasonably priced (comparable to Amazon prices) and the staff is very helpful. I highly recommend them.

I love the variety of organizational products and its a blast to shop there and fantasize about getting everything in its place. Trouble is the markup is very high and the prices push the envelope of reasonable.
