Well let me start off by saying, because of one person a manager is why I gave the review. We purchase a lot of items from Home Depot back in Columbus Ohio. So here is the story. We are a disaster response company doing flood clean up. We were called to assist with the recent flooding in Columbia Sc. We were overwhelmed as many were. We had to order more equipment from our supplier that could only driver to a commercial business. So we go tak to a assistant manager asked if we could ha wit delivered to the parking lot we would be there to unload the items and would not bother them at all, we had the same set up with the trucking company. (No mind you we are purchasing only from Home Depot and spent by this time during the flood over 10k at this particular store in supplies for homeowners). The trucking company goes to the dock at the store we are waiting for them in the parking lot. They never called to say they were early (not Home Depot fault). I finely walk into the store and ask if xxx trucking company by mistake made a delivery for us to there store. The manager comes to me very rude and asks why would we have a driver to his store? I explained gave names of who I spoke to and I even apologized at this time telling him it was a miss understanding. Then he proceeds to tel me that receiving unloaded it (knowing the bill of lading was in our name.)in there dock. I apologized again. (Now this is over 75k worth of fans and large commercial dehumidifiers.). He tells me that what kind of idiot would deliver and not be present "we are in a state of emergency whats in this for me" by this time Ive lost my cool. We exchange words I give him our rep from Home Depot back home" he tells me he doesnt care hes not involved with this situation. He pulls the items 4 pallets to the commercial parking banging ever corner and almost knocking items off the pallet and saying I dont want this crap in my store. I can understand that but there was no reason to be rude about a misscominication. And damage items that should not have ever been unloaded in there store. (I didnt go back to the store telling him he damaged the items I just took it in stride. Called the manufacturer and they made it right. Everyone else was great in the store to deal with. The operations manager was a complete ass. And because of that I will not shop at that particular store again. We have been down here for over a month working and will continue to be here cleaning up for months to come. I understand Im a "out of town" company." But his personal skills have a lot to be desired. Home Depot is a great company just bad operations management people skills. At this loacation.

Ordered a custom door in March. I was told the eta for the door would be April, 28. I received an email daily confirming the eta date. On the 27th however I did not receive a confirmation. . On the morning of the 28th I called to see what time it would arrive. At this point I am asked if I received an email the day before. Of course, no was my answer and the clerk proceeded to tell me that the door wont be in for another week. Understandable for a custom order but today, the 29th, I received another email confirming delivery on the 28th. SMH.

Went into this home depot spent over two hundred dollars went across the road to enjoy a meal at a local restaurant went back to this home depot story started my truck to leave and the local tow truck company pulled up in front of me thinking that he was going to to tow my truck but to his surprise I was in my truck if he would have hooked to my truck I would have called the police and reported a kid napping and stolen property Lucky for that tow truck driver it didnt go that far let this be a lesson to all you drivers out there in Big rigs

Ive picked up items for work and for myself through the years from this location and Ive never had any problems. Seasonal issues like them running out of smaller space heaters during winter have been the only issue.
