I came into the Jacksonville Beach store on Saturday, 11/21/15, and encountered the most helpful saleperson in Erick. I needed advice for my "lumber project". He called for help for me. When help didnt come, he took over and went thru the process of getting the type/size lumber I needed for my project. Then he personally went and got a "lumber dept" person to cut my pieces for me. After going thru checkout, I ran into Erick again on my way out the store. He asked if he could help me load my car. I told him I was going to try getting it loaded, and if I found I needed help, I would come back into the store. He insisted on loading my car for me. When the "width" of the plywood wouldnt fit into my car, he went back in the store to get "string" to tie the pieces on my roof. He securely tied things down and I safely made my way home. NOW THAT WAS CUSTOMER SERVICE! I hope Erick is recognized by management for the treasure they have in their employ. P.S. I am 69 and NOT a lovely, young woman.

My Husband and I were needing to get things organized for an international trip. In the process, we had to stop in at Home Depot in Jacksonville Beach. Our first visit for the day ended up being rather difficult and we unknowingly left with the wrong size product. I returned to the store, and after having some difficulty with the return desk (I just wanted to swap this one for the right size), Dave stepped in. He was very considerate. Listened to what had happened and then escorted me through the store to the correct area, made sure I got the right product and size needed and even walked me out to my car (I am expecting and it was very helpful). All without being asked. I couldnt have asked for a better person and look forward to going again and dealing with Dave. Thank you for taking such great care of us! The other employees should take notice and put forth the same caring attitude that he does.

Convenient location but gift card policy was changed to screw the customer. Do not give a gift card from returns as a gift or to a spouse or friend. You HAVE TO HAVE your ID associated with the gift card now...so the gift cards are less usable...but they still cant help you if you lost one! ☹

The woman in the paint department went the extra mile to make sure that my paint matched the sample exactly, even though she had a long line of people waiting. She kept a smile on her face and helped everyone quickly.

Has got to be the most ate up store in all of Florida. 30 min to get a pallet of concrete when no one else is even present in the loading area. Had to ask 4 different people to get a forklift that wont even work.
