I went in for a specialty piece of plywood. I chose one and asked for it to be cut. I was then told The price was not $25 but $37 for the piece I chose because they mislabeled the price. I gave the measurements needed for the cuts, explicitly saying they could not be below a certain measurement. I pay for the over priced piece and get home only to find out the cuts were two and a half inches short rendering it useless. Also before the cuts were made, I suggested a different ornamentation for the board so I could get two projects out of one, but I was told there was no way to do that. I am female and grew up using a ShopSmith. I understand how cuts can and can not be made. My way just would have required five minutes more labor. Another visit, I used the self checkout and had my four well behaved children with me. I specifically told the cashier on duty we came to self check so the children could use it. She proceeded to scan the items for us.

I dont know what other peoples angst is regarding this store . . . my guess is they have never operated a hammer before, but my experience (and my wife and sons) has always been stellar. The guys are always knowledgeable about things I need help with, willing to provide advice, and go completely out of their way to make it a good experience. The gals at the checkout are always helpful as well. My kid has autism, and the folks by the washers and dryers are always eager to entertain his obsession with washers and dryers.

Damaged my truck loading OSB onto it they did an investigation with statements from the manager and the employees that they didnt damage it. As if the manager was watching them....Inwhich he wasnt and its obvious the employees are not going to admit it but its obvious damage so homedepot said they werent going to pay for it not only that but Ive also had horrible service there.

The young man that works in the paint department is very efficient. I wish that I had gotten his name. I saw him assisting three to four people at the same time and never missed a beat. He was very helpful for me.

Nobody to help you. Have to try and find someone. Then go to service desk and wait there cause other people are off talking or at return desk.
